I swept trailer out and was cleaner then when I picked up but was charged cleaning fee

NATHAN GI'm from Milton ON to drive to Beaverton to pick up the U-Haul was horrible! It was way way too far and when moving a home, time is everything. Yes I was told it may be far but this was like the furthest point! I was given an extra day earlier to pick up and that was appreciated! However, this needs to be better! The ppl at this Beaverton location were wonderdul and helpful! As was the man who signed me out in Fort Saskatchewan Alberta! Everyone on the phone was wonderdul too! So overall a good experience.
Larisa DReserved a trailer in Bradford, Ontario two weeks prior to my trip, the day before pick up I was told it wasn't available and they would have to drive 40 minutes in the opposite direction to pick one up and someplace called green Bank,, after I finally accepted my fate, and was told that I would not be reimbursed for gas or anything for going out of my way, we are prepared to go and pick it up in Greenbank, I called the location to ensure that the vehicle is there as it didn't want to drive 45 minutes and find out it wasn't available, they assured me that it was and then moments before we left, we are called from the location in Greenbank to tell us that we couldn't pick up that trailer Either!! Apparently of the brake lights was out and we couldn't take that one, so I was sent again to another location in Beaverton Ontario, 30 minutes out of my way, after arriving in Beaverton, we were able to pick up the trailer, but we're told that the dolly that I had reserved was not available from that location, the whole thing was not good at all. There's gotta be a better way for this company to function than having people make reservations that are completely useless.
Thomas WThey charged me $30 for the insurance on a 4x8 trailer. I rented the same size trailer (4x8) a week ago from a different dealer & was only charged $10 for the insurance. The week before that I rented a 6x12 trailer & was only charged $20 for insurance. The person that was doing the rental showed me the computer program he was using which did not give him the option to change the amount charged. When I dropped off the trailer in London, ON to the Clarke St. dealer, the lady at the counter stated that each dealer sets their own rates for insurance. Yet when I rented the trailer he was using the U-Haul program which I would think would be standard for every location. This can all be confirmed on my account.

Mark TThis location saved me from the infinite disorganization and poor planning of Uhaul in general. Uhaul's business model is a direct reflection of having a monopoly in Canada. Casually informing customers at 10pm the night before that pick up is now changed to an additional 1.5 hour drive is completely negligent. Out of the 10 people I asked about Uhaul use they all said the same thing. Uhaul will completely fuck you in the end and you did. I had guys booked etc. and you wasted my time and money. The two locations you asked me to review were good. They have nothing to do with your poor ineffective business model.
Michael HUnfortunately the drop off area was closed due to a power outage, they had a key drop box. I cleaned and locked the truck left a lot more gas it (compared to pick up). I haven't heard anything back so I'm assuming all is well. No where to put your garbage at the drop off point.

Corey BGreat people and easy process start to finish. However, I got a different truck this week and the steering wheel was offset and the steering felt very loose while driving - fine for the short distance I was going but I wouldn't want to do a long-haul with that. Otherwise, great experience as usual. ¡Hurra!

Christopher II had a really difficult time on my previous rental from uhaul, but this time it was a much better experience with employees going above and beyond to help me out! Especially the employees that are based at this specific location. Would definitely use this location for future rentals to come!

Tim MYour instore paperless set up was five times slower than the old paper "sign in" Everything had to be re-inputed and I had just rented 5 weeks ago. It was by no means the fault of the location, it was the slowness of your system and not saving information. The dealer system seems to slow! Yes I know I can do it myself online, but if I take the time to go to a store and buy something it should work smoother!
Steven MI found it to be a complete pain to put gas in the van I had. This is something that was brought to my attention by the gentleman I picked it up from. As I understand a request to have this issue fixed was brought to uhaul's attention but had not been corrected as yet. It ruined what was a great experience to that point. And to that I blame uhaul. Not Buds.
