Folks there were cool and helpful, but this place is a dump. Very little parking, no clear signs, virtually no room to drop off even a small trailer. Drop-off OK I guess, but would not want to pick up there.John M.

First when I drove up I could not find the uhaul shop because it was part of his dirty muffler shop, Then the computer system was down, and Bud did not know how to do my paperwork over the phone. Then, the lights on the tow dolly did not work. Bud told me I had a blown fuse and had to go to the next closest uhaul in artesia and have them help me. I went there and found that the electrical was a good 6 inches inside the unit and another tech had to fished it out and fix the wiring. One of the safety chains then broke as we were traveling a few days later, and I had to wait until we dropped it off because we were staying at camping spots along the way and did not have time to wait for someone to come out and fix it.Murray R.

Jesse failed to advise on the option to check in the truck online which would enable me to also upload a photo proving I returned the truck with a quarter tank of gas. As a result, the site advised that I returned the truck with only an eight of a tank, which was false. I am being reimbursed $30 for this error but still being charged $37.17 for the actual gas they claimed was needed to return the truck to a quarter tank. Going forward, I will never use another rental from U-Haul.Marisa S.

Pick up location was changed from original location at last minute. Rental price wasn't the same as quoted when reservation was made. Equipment wasn't clean inside and needed to be swept out and trash removed before loading. Overall very disappointed with this transaction but unit did get the job done.Richard G.

It's understandable that the requested pickup location can be changed by Uhaul, but at least make sure that the additional item that I ordered and paid for is inside the truck and that the one-way truck has no mechanical issues. I had to pick up the truck from a extra service location designated by Uhaul, Buds Muffler. When I got home, there was no Furniture Dolly and Buds Muffler did not have any Uhaul Equipment. So we had to deal with it on our own and there was delays and did not head out until the following morning and had to buy a padlock to lock the truck. On top of that I find out Uhaul double charged me for the Uhaul movers. Then when driving the uhaul truck on the freeway the following morning, it had mechanical issues, it kept getting stuck on 5 acceleration and it would go lower after several minutes and then when I hit the gas pedal it went jump back up. By the grace of God, we got to our destination safely and went to drop off the truck to Abby's Mini Storage safely. But only to be told that the drop off is at the Chester Ave location. So apparently Uhaul changed the drop off location without informing me of the change. But Pauline of Abby's Mini Storage had exceptional customer service skills and went above and beyond my expectations and she made this bad trip end very well. She was able to resolve my concern in a timely manner and made sure I was satisfied and had left her location in a better mood then when I got there. The facility employee did not take a walk around to look at the truck he rented to me. I found that the truck was not swept clean before it was given to me. I found that the fuel gauge readout was about 2 and 1/2 gallon less than what was on the UHaul paperwork work that I signed at the desk. (Signed without a walk around.) I later found that the Uhaul equipment truck paperwork listed a figure of 1084.0 miles out, when the odometer read 1147.0 miles on it before I left with the truck.WALTER F.

Rates were not explained with all the add-ons. I felt railroaded into the extra coverage. I had all the add-ons removed which took a long time in a hot garage. Had that all been explained, the paperwork would have been right the first time and what amount I was quoted.andrew G.

Get the address of the drop off location correct in the print-out (It said 1611 W San Bernardino Rd). Train your customer service reps not to use an impatient tone of voice because I am not seeing what the print-out says and what their script says I should be seeing.Walter C.

Business was closed when I got there. My appointment was 9:45am. Business was supposed to be open at 9am. By the time I left the area it was 10:40am. Wasted my time and late with what my appointment to pick up stuff. The employee was rude and not wanting to sweep the truck as there were small debris & dust. He was telling me that I would get it dirty anyways!Michael S.

This location needs to be removed as a pick up/drop off location. It's been twice that I had bad experiences with this place. A month ago I had scheduled to pick up a truck at this location, however, the person never showed up or answered their phone. I went to Covina U-Haul and they said they had to wait for him as well before. So, I had to pick up the truck in Baldwin Park, wasing 2 hours of my time. The recent time, the person was not there as well even when calling. I left the keys and the contract and locked the truck. However, I received a call the next day saying the contract was not closed out. Today I received a charge for EZ Fuel Sale of $16.50 even though I put in enough gas.MICHAEL I.

Entire experience was excellent, I needed truck four days early, Crystal from scheduling went over and beyound to find me the truck because Covina Uhaul could no accomodate my change of plans. Informative text messages were sent feom Bobs muffler shop, and the customer servive i recieved from Ray from Bobs muffler was excellent! I will certainly use uhaul again for my moving needs.
