Go into Buds to reserve your equipment. I used the app and I got screwed. Not only did I not get the truck I reserved I got a smaller truck for $50 more.

Bud's was incredible. It's the second time I've rented there. But for the second time, I've been extremely disappointed in U-Haul. Both times, I was required to drive 50 extra miles to get a truck at Bud's when I reserved it elsewhere. This time, U-Haul didn't even bother to contact me. It's a good thing that I did my homework ahead of time to find out where the truck would be.

Put adapter on light and directional, also a stand for the trailer where the hitch is ! Nearly impossible for 1 person to unhook hitch.

Employee was not very friendly. She removed the dolly from my order without asking, saying “nobody ever needs this anyways.” She did give the number to call when we noticed the drop off location was wrong, and otherwise did her job, but the overall service wasn't great.

Well, I was told TWICE...that Uhaul would CALL me and confirm my reservation and where to go to pick up the truck for rental. NOT ONE phone call from Uhaul. My quote changed TWICE. No explaination why.

Pickup was 20 miles from where I scheduled it and I was told this the day before in a text message. Then when I went to pickup my truck and trailer there was no one to help me attach the trailer and drive my car on the trailer I just attached.

I was not happy having to pay mileage to Wisconsin Rapids since I needed it in Plover and was traveling to and from Stevens Point. A more local pick-up point would have been appreciated!.

The location was fine, it was just an HOUR OUT OF MY WAY! I rented from a location in Stevens Point. Why even let me rent from a place in Stevens Point when there is almost NO chance that I will be able to pick it up there? Oh, and I was never contacted, I had to start making calls to figure out where my trailer was! No customer service at all. I will do anything I can to rent a trailer from someone else next time.

Person at the counter did not have an appliance dolly available. Even after it was ordered online and reserved. Person behind the counter was minimally helpful. Called a local uhaul location to see if they had the equipment. I ended up renting from a completely different business.

Make sure the equipment is actually available when reservation is placed and everything is ready to go. My truck was supposed to be picked up at another spot. Went thru a 2 hour run around to get my equipment inc a tow dolly

I'm an old u haul dealer, We did not get a call to say it was ready. I called found I had to go to another lactation to pick it up. Had to hook it up myself and the trailer lights did not work.

Barrett's auction was the first location I was sent to and they weren't even open to give me my U-Haul but buds corner mart was. At first there was issues if there was a truck available even though I had already made my reservation and was told there was a truck at buds that was available turns out it was just a computer error and I was able to rent the truck. Truck was great but getting everything sorted out in the beginning was frustrating thanks to the unexpected closing at Barrett's auction.

The actual location and service attendant were fine. My 24/7 pick up wasn't working due to spot reception in that area caused by weather, and luckily I was able to go in and do it at the has station. My issue is we had rented a 15ft truck and when we arrived it was not there. Not the location's fault, it was due to a previous renter not returning the truck on time. We ended up having to take a 10ft truck with no ramp, which was not ideal, as initially we were trying to reserve a 20ft truck. We brought back the 10ft truck on time and with a full tank and I feel we were overcharged... Not a good experience. Not happy at all.

I don't know why you would send me one hour north to pick up a trailer when i found one in Wis. Rapids 20 minutes away. Also why did you wait till after 5pm to email me where to pick up the trailer. I got a text at 6am telling me to go one hour to pick up the trailer one half an hour before I was going to leave.Bud's cornermart was ok but your scheduling was terrible. Why would I reserve a trailer at one place and drive around the state to pick it up at the last minute.

The car transport was the wrong size, I told the kids behind the counter I was hauling a 2004 dodge ram 1500 quad cab short box and they said it would fit. It did not. I tried loading it anyway and had to leave the ramps extended for it to fit. This obviously wasn't safe and give the trailer no tongue weight. I ended up renting a different trailer from a buddy and returned the uhaul trailer. I then left the paperwork in the drop box at buds corner Mart as I was instructed to do to return the unit. The employees forgot to check the drop box so they charged me for a second rental even though the paperwork and trailer were returned as I was instructed to do. Extremely displeased! Now I wait for clay to call me back to sort this out.

First of all, I chose wild rose Wisconsin to be my pick up point. 2 hours before I left my house in fond du Lac Wisconsin to pick it up, I was notified that my pick up point was in Wisconsin Rapids Wisconsin. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to figure this out. My aunt lives in Wautoma wi. She fell ill and a handful of us family had to drive there to pack up her belongings and move her things to a storage unit in fond du Lac. Picking up from the wild rose location would have saved us time and miles. For uhaul to suddenly change our pick up point, which was a 76 MILE ROUND TRIP, was the worst possible thing that could happen. Uhaul did add an additional 40 miles to our daily milage, as the distance from Wisconsin Rapids to wild rose is 36 miles. I will NEVER trust renting from uhaul ever again.

A few issues: 1. I had asked for an appliance dolly but there wasn't one available yet I was still charged for the appliance dolly. 2. I called early AM before my truck was due back and asked if it was ok that I'd be running late because I didn't want to be charged a second day. The woman I talked to confirmed it was okay and there were no issues. The young man there when I returned the truck ended up having me pay for 2 days anyway. I would have pressed to get the truck back earlier had I known I'd be charged despite my guarantee I wouldn't be. 3. There were no straps in the truck. Every truck I've rented has had the straps supplied for safety. Overall disappointment on the personal end. The truck itself was maintained nicely and smelled good.

There was nothing wrong with the location, the problem was the online reservation then three calls to customer service only to get to the location and nothing was correct. Nothing about this proceeds was smooth or easy I would not recommend uhaul to anyone and will avoid using services again at all costs

Drivers door needs adjustment...needed to be slammed in order to be shut tightly. I forgot to mention this to the manager when I returned the truck. Great service however!!!

This location was more than 15 miles out of the way from my contract's initial pick-up site. I understand that Buds didn't make this happen, and the staff there were excellent, but this tarnished my U-Haul experience.

The trailer was parked in the middle of a large deep puddle that I had to wade through to hookup the trailer. When I arrived at my destination with the trailer, the inside was extremely wet and dirty. After I had transported my belongings in the trailer I realized that the trailer must have had major leaks as my belongings, including an expensive mattress and a dresser that was made for me by my now deceased grandfather, were soaked (it was raining during transit.)

We made this reservation over a month ago. It was confirmed on Friday that our truck would be ready on 10/29/2018 to be picked up at 8AM. At 7:00AM we received a phone call that the truck was not available and we had to travel over an hour away to pick a at a different address.

I would love to thank the 2 women who were working and servicing me. This was my first time renting a UHaul and they were very kind and explained everything well. And because my fiancé helped me fill up the tank, she filled it completely full but we were told to just fill to what the amount was when we received the uhaul truck and they took $20 off the bill because we filled it up completely! Again, thank you so very much! When I need to more again I will be using uhaul and this location.

Make sure the unit is cleaned and all hinges are lubed. Not a problem for me since I can take care of that but someone else might not be able to. I will keep getting rentals from Bud's. Great people.
