When we arrived to rent the truck the previous renter hadn't completed their move. The clerk advised us that if we didn't help her move her stuff off of the truck that she wouldn't be able to rent the truck to us for our move. After an hour of doing another persons move, we finally got the truck (no cleaning or anything). Very frustrating experience overall and I wouldn't recommend this location. We've had great experiences with the location right up the street.STEVEN M.

The lady in charge was very helpful and threw in a dolly free of charge. The truck worked great even in the snow and it was very affordableparker M.
Mobile check-in process was a bit annoying when I provided my drivers license and my current picture they still wanted 2 additional contacts or a passport or a lease agreement. That was not covered in the video I watched when I reserved the truck. My DL verification and current photo should've sufficed ESPECIALLY when that what I used to reserve the truck.Jill A.

Beware if you are using a tow dolly. UHaul now has to hitch the dolly to the truck prior to you leaving otherwise it voids the warranty. It can throw a wrench in moving plans. It certainly did in mine. I did appreciate being told that removing the dolly myself would voids the insurance.DEBRAH S.

I came to the site and was politely told to back the trailer into an area beside the road where there were other trailers and remove it from my car. I am not that experienced with trailers and had a great deal of difficulty getting the trailer positioned as they wanted it. I eventually did however, with guidance from 2 random individuals that passed by. I then tried to remove the trailer from my hitch but couldn't. I went back into the office and the woman there came out to help. She initially said that she didn't know if she could get the trailer off my car and suggested that it would be my problem if we couldn't. Luckily we got it off and i went on my way. This level of service was vastly inferior to that I received from the woman that helped me in Coralville. If I rent a trailer again, I will try and bring it back to a different site.W Thomas L.

Instructions on turning on the lamp in the back and some sort of mile conversion. Started w 3/4 tank, drove 100+ miles and ended up filling it full bc I had no idea how many gallons in a tank, how many miles per gallon. Just suggestions. I was guaranteed a truck in Olathe, KS at 12:00pm. I arrived at 11:45 only to find out they didn't have a truck for me. The staff at the Rogers Rd location in Olathe are rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I proceed to call customer service, only to find out they are just as unprofessional! Corporate U-Haul stores are in desperate need of customer service training, starting from the top! Save your time/money and rent directly from Budget Self Storage in Belton, MO. The staff at this location is self contracted. You can tell the difference from the moment you walk in kind, friendly, and professional!Kara B.

The process was very easy. I love the online check in. I did have any issue with getting my verification code, but that was because i typed my email in wrong when signing up. I called the 800 number and the gentleman that helped me was great. He stayed on the phone with me to make sure everything went as planned. I wish i could remember his name. Overall, i would rent again through the online rental, now that i have my account set up correctly.Brandy B.

It took over two hours to get the contract and credit card to go through. It was totally the fault of Uhaul's electronic commerce website. The lady said it happens at the end of every month. I tried to do an early check in but the Uhaul website is in such bad repair it would not let you do it.Paige M.

Dropped off after hours, the process for me was difficult, Had hard time following the instructions, not a real computer savy person. Had to call 3 different times and still could not log in. Would suggest trying to make it easier for those of us older folks. The people trying to help were very kind,finally the 3rd time, they did it for me. GraciasCAROL C.

Went to Belton location to reserve trailer. Apparently the computer software sucks. Poor lady worked her ass off, to no avail. Wanted to pick up trailer in Grandview, mo. . .It didn't happen. Then asking for two friends, after I've already rented from you twice before. No professional! ...Then the drop was scheduled way far away from LaFeria, tx. So I called the two locations here in LaFeria. 1st guy said he didn't want it. 2nd wouldn't answer phone. Left a msg saying to text me and would call maybe tomorrow. ...Finally I talked to one and he said come over. Gave directions and all. Then I got there, they did 't know a thing. However the guy was sharp. He got in the computer and took the trailer. Thank him dearly. What a mess!Steve W.

The parking area is the big issue. To hook up to a trailer or unhook yo basically have to block the public street. I was told it was a new rule but they wanted the name of 3 friends in case I didn't return the trailer. The will NEVER do that. What kind of a friend would? If that is what it takes to rent from uhaul... I won't be doing it anymore.Wayne R.

None of the extras I ordered were available which meant I had no dolly and no time to find one elsewhere. This is the 2nd time I have worked with UHAul and the things reserved were unavailable. Why would such a large company continue to offer services online when the location does not have them? Also, I ended up paying more somehow once those items were removed. I had little room to argue as I was on a tight moving schedule. I will use other moving companies in the future.Daniel G.

The person I spoke with over the phone recommended that I should call the corporate line to find a truck in the needed size and timing. I went ahead and booked what they had online, and was glad to interact with the wonderful, different person who was at the location for pick up and drop off. She was much more helpful and courteous.
