Jose TovarThis uhaul location was wonderful! The uhaul experience itself was sub par, I rented a 9 foot box truck and used the truck share option because I wanted to pick up the truck super early as I live in Arizona and need to do moving as early as possible to avoid the 115° heat. I had originally made my reservation for 8 AM (and then changed it to 7am) but for some reason when I went to go pick up the truck, it stated my reservation was now 10 AM which I believe is what time the storefront open. After messing around on the u-haul.com/share website for about 15-20 minutes trying to figure out what the problem was and how to fix it, I gave up and had to call 1-800 U-Haul so they could fix it as I had already wasted so much time. The employees were able to help and fix the issue but this could’ve easily been avoided. TLDR- employees at the storefront upon dropping off we’re great, uhaul truckshare 24/7 option needs work.

Well I didn’t know that the website would ask for pictures so I had to take them through the windows to complete the return. I think this location should post a “will return at” sign so people can know where the staff is and not have to use the app.

Tried to change my return location even though I said no to the change then updated it in the system so the estrella location wouldn’t take me therefore forcing me to drive to I-17 and McDowell. Luckily the person at estrella location that helped me told me even though they had moved me in the system she could still take me. I also kept my original receipt for proof. Poor business practices, very shady.

Elliot HeimanThere needs to be better guidance for the mobile process. My reservation was scheduled to pick up from Storage Solutions in Avondale. Once we were there, we attempted to check in for our reservation through the website only to be notified that we are actually suppose to be picking up 10 mins away in a different location. Very frustrating. Also, clarification on the verification process for the renter/driver is also needed. A lot of confusion was happening because the directions for verification were unclear.
Darrell YoungI would not recommend UHAUL. I made a reservation for one location and then I was switched to another. The app did not work. I was told I would be able to access the keys without entering the office. I was on the phone with an agent trying to find me a one way truck for 1.5 hours. It is ridiculous that your agent had no power to reimburse anything. She offered an in the city truck that would cost me double in gas and mileage. This means I lost the original reservation. It is a Saturday and I understand the lack of availability. But I booked a week in advance. Finally the location cancelled the person that reserved my truck - which the reservation was lost as the agent searched for another truck. The orginial reservation should stay on hold until a sure replacement is found. Thankfully the lady at this location undestood what customer service means, unlike UHAUL, and gave me the truck I originally requested. Uhaul needs to fix you online processes and app!!!. It was a ridiculous experience!
