It isn't a bad place, but I came after hours so I didn't interact with any staff.

Every Uhaul place I've ever used has been lenient with their return times. I always rent late in the evening right before they close and return late in the evening (right before they close, or right after) and I've always been told as long as I returned the trailer back before the next morning I wouldn't be charged for a full day. I did this same thing and was charged a full day plus a 20 dollar fee because I didn't check in online (which I was not informed I needed to do). There is spirit of the law and letter of the law. These guys are going to use letter of the law to nickel and dime you. I ended up spending 160 dollar to use a trailer for a 51 hours. Should have been the thirty dollars a day, plus the insurance and tax for a total of about 100 dollars. Don't waste your time, use another location and/or another company. And don't expect the district manager to help in any way. All he did was cite the contract (which I never signed). When I explained how every other Uhaul operates he informed he would be calling and getting those other Uhaul locations in trouble for not following the letter of the law. Which, somehow, he thought would make me happy. That's the opposite of what I want. And he also informed me there was no way he could refund any money (which we all know he can). Again, just go somewhere else. I definitely will never us this place again.

Everything online was smooth, however, when I went to retrieve the key, the employee couldn't locate my reservation for some reason/couldn't find the key to the truck. It was a small 15 minute delay, but I was helpless as I didn't have any more to show other than my phone which said “retrieve your key from an employee”. Otherwise, my move went smoothly. Thanks!

The windows and mirrors were very dirty. The guy that checked me in was nice but didn't check me out immediately due to the computer being used by someone else. I gave him the keys, he said he would check it in for me for free. They charged me $20 for after hours service fee. I had to call the 800 number because the app was still showing the rental active. She was great on the phone. The location that I picked up from was not good and I feel cheated out of the “after hours” service charges. I had the truck at the location approximately at 3pm. I will never get a truck from that location again. I would call and make trouble over the additional charges but the wait time for speaking to the reps would not be worth the value of my time.

They did not outline anything on the contract or print it out or even let me know how to check it in if returned after hours. When they emailed the contract over, they used a format that could not be opened up so you could read anything on the contract. Plus, they charged me for checking it in after hours and never even told me that they would do that. I will never go there again.

The folks were very helpful in taking the trailer off. However, they did not do the paperwork while I was there. I have received 2 e-mails from U-Haul asking me to sign what looks like an extension of the trip. My improvement suggestion is to have everything completed at the time of the drop off while the customer is still present.

No one was present either Friday July 17 or Saturday July 18. We finally just left the trailer there. We initially were contacted about not returning the trailer! Dirty and unkempt location that I would not recommend to anyone.

No one was there at my appointed pick up time. Presumably this wouldn't have been a problem, but I couldn't get the APP to work and the extra equipment I ordered was not available. Thank goodness, he came back after about 10 minutes and was very helpful, got me checked in, gave me the keys and issued a refund for the extra items.

There was virtually no signage to indicate that the location was affiliated with U-Haul. Once at the location we had to wander around to the side of the building and into his truck-wash bay and call out to find the attendant.

Location was convenient. Service was excellent! Just kind of a beaten down car wash location that was a bit dirty... didn't even know it was open. Looked abandoned from the street. Again, regardless of appearance, service and equipment was great!

Upon returning the trailer in utah the company didn't have any cash on hand to give me my deposit back. Wasn't to happy about that. Going in today to get my money back. 05/22/2020.

My reservation was changed to this location by Uhaul for President's Day pickup which was fine, but when I arrived by 10:00am for my 10:00 scheduled pickup, there was no one there. I called Uhaul and was told they should be open. Thankfully the dealer arrived by 10:30 and saw me waiting there. He was closed for the holiday and was not aware that he had a reservation for that day. He was very accommodating however and helped me get the truck I had reserved. Since it was a holiday, I think the reservation manager should have confirmed with this dealer that he was going to be open that day before changing my reservation to that location.

I reserved a car dolly a day in advanced for the next day. When I arrived the guy did not know how to work his system and had me give all my information again. We were at the store for 1 hour and 30 minutes just long enough to hit rush hour traffic when we reserved the trailer beforehand to avoid rush hour. Once dropped off it was after hours but dropped off trailer at 8:00 pm way before my return time of 10:15pm once home at 9:30 I get a text from Uhaul saying I need to go back and take all these pictures and send my location when I was never notified of this before I dropped the trailer off. This experience was the more ridiculous waste of time I've ever gone through. Could be location could be employee but I would not recommend this experience to any one

I reserved the truck and trailer for the pick up to be at the Bountiful location 2 weeks in advance. The day before the move, the distribution center called and told me that I now had to drive to South Salt Lake to pick it up because Bountiful didn't have the trailer. Don't agree with the fact that I reserved for a pick up which was down the street from my house and then not have it available.

My daughter was told there would be a "folding" charge for the returned blankets. She then spent an hour + folding them after which she was told they weren't folded correctly and that she would still be charged. The customer service girl said that the charge on her paperwork stated it was for 4 missing blankets. THERE WERE NO MISSING BLANKETS. In any case, they were not Persion Rugs. 384.14 is ridiculous and you should disenfranchise Bubba.In the meantime you can refund the 384.14for the rugs and compensate Jessica Smith for the lack of air conditioning.

The rep. seemed inconvenience by me requesting for a clean truck. Customer service could have been a little better. You guys should consider offering military discount across the board at U-haul. Some location offers and others don't. This create confusion for the customer.

This place is not a great partner!! He did not give me the right drop off location also the trailer was dirty and one of the straps for the car tire is fraying. Equipment not maintained well.

Staff was very helpful. The fact that my pick up location was changed by U Haul due to equipment not being available at original location only to be given a bigger truck at the new location because they didn't have the right size truck was very disappointing. Also was charged for supplier that was booked on line for the original location but didn't get them at pick up. Spent hours trying to get someone to take care of the issue as the phone system is set up to take orders and book truck not actually solve issues. Can not get a local site person to answer a phone as it goes to the service center.

Location was dirty/gross. Front counter was not manned. Waited 20-30 minutes to speak with someone. Only associate that eventually provided assistance did not speak English. There was no check in process, record review, or vehicle inspection done - had me back in the the trailer and leave. I was contacted by the recovery department 5 days later asking where the trailer was....

This was the worst rental experience of my life. Very frustrating to arrive and not have the employee there. We waited over 30 minutes before he arrived to check us out. He looked like he had been drinking. Sooo slow to procesdthe check in and we didn't dare ask a question because he could not do 2 things at once. Only 6 blankets and we reserved 24. The place is super run down and I. The ghetto of SLC. Your uhaul office help was also not helpful when I called to see where their employer might be. Not a good e experience with uhaul. I wished I had looked at other companies and I will in the future.

It was after hours when I drop the truck off put the keys and my contract in there after hours drop box they called me the next morning saying I damaged the roof and it would be $1,300 to fix it and they were going to charge my card there was nothing I could do. Thankfully the U-Haul manager got it taken care of U-Haul is a great company but not that Bubba's neighborhood car wash their con artist

That location is a joke. It's a carwash/Uhaul, but no is there most of the time. We had to go back twice to pick up the trailer, and when I returned it, no one was there. Are you kidding me? Horrible.

This place was great! HOWEVER, it was not our first pickup place, which was supposed to be 4690 South 4000 W. The day before pickup they called and said a truck was not available at that location (couldn't they just bring it over? sheesh) so changed me to the one at 3955 S Redwood Road, and said everything else was the same, including pickup and drop off times. We were there at 9:05 to pick up, actually five minutes late, but that didn't matter - NO ONE was there. We waited till about 9:20, then called. No answer. FInally called the 800 number, and the girl said the best she could do for us was change our pickup time to 9:30. What? How does that help us? Anyway, she said they should be there by 9:30 so to just wait, which we did. By 9:50 - almost 10 o'clock! - still no one. By this time I was furious. We called the 800 number again, and the guy that answered (thankfully not the same one) transferred us to someone else, who eventually found us a truck at Bubba's location. We drove over there, picked up the truck and were finally on our way. So - the process which should have taken 30 minutes max, as the first location was only 10 minutes from home, ended up taking 2 and a half hours!! This is ridiculous. At least they did offer us a $50 credit. So - if you need a UHaul, just go to Bubba's place FIRST - don't bother with the other locations, especially the one on Redwood Road. What a waste of time on a day when we had no time to spare. Grrr.....

The Uhaul truck got stuck pulling into the drive way. The gutter was too deep and the back bumper got stuck on the road and the tires were not bearing weight. I called dispatch and all they could do was tell me that I had to call Roadside Assistance and pay to be pulled out even though I was at the drop off location. The facility is old, rundown, and cluttered with junk.

1) Odd e-mail on the morning of 6 Dec from U-Haul about Late Equipment when the truck had been returned the prior evening prior to the scheduled time. The dealer was already closed for the night. 2) Three (3) e-mails with contract, each with a different file format: PDF, PNG and GIF. Was this really necessary? Seems like borderline spam...
