Let the customer know about needing moving blankets or straps to tie things down. Notify the customer of the price when they are reserving a truck or trailer. I reserved well over a month in advance and i was not told how much it was going to cost. I was SHOCKED at the price when I completed the deal and picked up the truck. I understand the price is what it is but knowing the expense we could have been more prepared financially.

The drop off website/directions were confusing. I wasn’t sure what the contract was and the online drop off didn’t seem to be working or didn’t confirm that the truck was dropped off.

Improve truck maintenance. The tires were flat on one side from being parked too long making the ride extremely rough. Very high mileage vehicle.

when the clerk was asked about help to load our truck I was told that there would be 2 people to help load our load. I asked a couple of times about this to be sure but when I picked up my truck and trailer there was no help so at the last minute I had to located more people on my own and this really put me behind on getting loaded and on the road in a timely manner

My reservation was changed twice without me knowing because the truck wasn't there. I went from a initial half mile pickup to 25 mile pickup. After I refused to drive that far the guy told me a truck would be there at 1030 at the 2nd location, 10 miles from me. He said "well, your reservation isn't til 1pm . That's when I found out that uhaul changed my pickup time too from 9am to 1pm!!! I drove all night to Arkansas to move and spent hours trying to get the uhaul!! On top of all that, I had to pay extra mileage because the uhaul store was 10 miles further than my initial reservation. What adds insult to injury, uhaul never notified me of any of these changes!! I had to find out after I'd arrived at the location. I'm very disappointed!!! And I had to pay day labor for hours waiting for me to arrive with the truck. So I'll ask you, what rating would you give uhaul if this was your experience???

Truck was nasty. We had to stop at car wash to vacuum dog hair off the seats. It smelled like wet dog especially when we had the heat on. Made our clothes and belongings stink. Had to stop and buy febreeze. Trash was everywhere. Big clumps of dried mud on the floors. Had to sweep out the back before putting in our stuff. No wiper fluid. We'd have been using uhaul for over twenty years and this was the nastiest one we've ever used. Disgusting!!!!!

Have equipment with lights that work instead of a state trooper letting me know, very inconvenient and un professional, when I arrived to drop trailer off there was an employee loterally doing donuts in a uhaul truck I can’t make this stuff up VERY dissapointing.

First off, we were lied to. Then they had us go get a different card to use and when we got back the guy was gone. So we had to come back. Then this rude girl called saying they were going to rent it out to someone else. When I called her back after the way she talked to my husband she hung up on me. After snapping. Finally get the thing and the guy still was not back. He charged for 60 miles and saved on his computer. The boy finished and clocked in at 1 when it was well after. So had to keep it an extra 24 hours due to storms. So when we return it to the closest drop off spot they wanted me to take it somewhere else. Then charged for extra milage and instead of the price I was told it was another $30 on top of what they said. So over all BS and dealing with liers.

First if all when we ordered the the uhaul on line it said it was nearly $25 less than what we actually paid for it, then when we got there they tried running our card TWICE! We had to call the bank to get a confirmation that it went through the first time because it was telling the staff that it was declined, they were calling us trying to make us return it when we already had stuff packed in it and we knew damn well our card went through. So we get to where we moved only used less than half a tank of gas (it didn't even have a full tank) and then now they're trying to charge us $58 for not filling it up when we shouldn't even have to after all the shit they put us through. The truck had dirt and leaves in it and we had to clean it out before putting our stuff in the back. I'm pissed off and nobody should ever use uhaul again they're greedy and ridiculous.

Have rented one way, car tow dollies multiple times. Each time there have been one defective tail light. One case was a light bulb. Two cases the entire light assembly fell out during transit and were lost. . The rubber grommet pressed in light assembly makes it easier to change the light bulb when necassary - but is very non-secure, and easily allows the entire assembly to pop out and become lost.

When we realized we needed an extra day to return the truck, we contacted the location where we picked up the truck and asked how much it would cost us. He told us that it would be $30.00 per day and to call UHaul and tell them about it. They informed us that it would be $40.00 per day. When we turned in the truck today, they charged us $60.00 per day! Oh my goodness!!!

When you advertise $29 rental for one day then I shouldn't have to pay over $73 for that day. Maybe $45 at the most with tax. I'll probably use Budget rentals from now on. They seem to be a lot cheaper and true to their advertising. But, the lady at the counter was very nice, professional, and had great customer service. It's just the false advertising that's getting to me.

I was thankful for the after-hours drop off location. There should be more in Russellville. This location was on the edge of town and it was very sketchy.

Uhaul changed our pickup location without notifying us of the change. The hours of the location were wrong, twice. After we found out the location had changed, we checked to make sure they'd have our equipment, and they told us they close early on our day of pickup, so we'd have to come early. When we showed up at their posted open time, we had to wait half an hour for them to show. The trailer had a light out which we had to replace ourselves without reimbursement, and it was double booked! We wouldn't have had the time or the budget to drive out of town to go to another location to pick up a different trailer.
