This is not a reflection of this specific location. But I was called 2 hours before my pickup time by head office to tell me that my location has been switched to somewhere an additional 40 minutes each way from my house. I had to plead my case in order to get a discount on the mileage which didn’t seem to make much difference in the end. I’ve used U-Haul in the past without issue, but this time was a bit of a headache! This location was fine however and did not have issues with them whatsoever.

MARK BWaiting to hear back from Uhaul. Rented a 20 foot truck. Took a picture of before and after milage and fuel. I drove the truck for 15 miles in total put 10$ of gas which brought it back to where it was( the needle didn't even move) and the place emails my invoice charging me $12 of extra fuel.. I brought them my gas invoice and the guy behind the counter was super rude and said there is nothng he can do for me.. even after I showed him both my pictures.. I hope Uhaul reads this and fixes my invoice..

Justin SShortly after I picked up the vehicle, there was an indicator on the dash stating that the rear tire pressure was low. I tested it at home and found it was 20 pounds light. I pumped it up. No issues. Although, I returned the vehicle a full day early and I was still charged for 96 hours. Was not impressed. Otherwise. Decent experience.

Scott CThe check in was without any instructions or reminders of the vehicle itself. Would have preferred for the attendant to walk out to the truck and offer a demonstration or reminder on how to operate some features for example the roll down door, location of gas tank, mirrors, climate control etc. Good to be reminded that the speedometer is in miles not kilometers. For those of us who don't operate large vehicles regularly the physical inspection with the attendant would have be preferred.
Janet MNormally happy with this location. Truck smelled heavily of gas. Short trip so luckily I could lower the windows. Not the owner’s fault. But I was charged insurance coverage when I specifically said no to it when he asked. It was a small trip less than 20km to move some equipment. What should have cost 30 cost 50. Disappointed with the cost for such a small job

Garfield RThe Uhaul location at 93 Winchester Rd. E in Brooklyn, Ontario is by far the best location I have ever visited. The clerk was very professional and courteous and their vans are always rented out with a full tank of gas which makes it so much easier to bring it back

amin lThe dolly provided was rusted and was leaving rust marks inside the house, therefore we were unable to use it. In Canada, we use kms to measure mileage/distrance travelled and the respresentative at the store as well as the website provided an amount of $o.89. I entered the information on the estimate calculator in kms and was very surprised when the invoice had an amount of $1.43 per mile - this created a concern and I called into the support line for clarification. My feedback would be to ensure that your representatives, as well as your website, make it extremely clear that the billing is in miles at a rate of $1.43, not $0.89, and a conversion is needed when completing the online calculator estimate from kms to miles. There was a difference of $64 that was not accounted for.

Claudio LI have been fortunate to use this U-Haul on 3 occasions, and on all 3 times they have been great. The trucks were always clean and ready for pick up and the service was quick and efficient. In future I would recommend this location to friends and family.
Linda SThe vehicle had many issues. It had a check engine light on, an exhaust leak and horrible brake squeal. Your maintenance on the equipment is poor. This is no fault of the location as he has no means to maintain the vehicles.
steven PI have refilled the fuel up to the original gauge and left the vehicle, and charged for 11 litter of gas. It is totally unfair. I have been using U-haul for several years and this is the first time it happen to me.

Phyllis OTruck was illegal for road use, had the catalytic converter cut off, in addition the loading ramp was cut off. Absolutely unacceptable I was given this truck in the first place

Claudette SThis was the 2nd time I needed a truck within 2 week period and U-Haul made it easy for me. The truck was ready for pick up and Allan in Brooklin made it easy for pickup. Prior to pick up Allan took time to assist me with all additional equipment, making sure I had all boxes and tape for packing. I would refer all my friends and family to U-Haul.

Martin HClean and reliable units.. but service and wait even if pre booked is way to slow. The process is always way to slow sometimes 10 mins.. or sometimes an hour or so. As a regular renter it shouldn’t take more than a minute if pre booked and pick up time selected

Nickson MThe lady that helped me when I was picking up to vehicle was awesome but dropping it off the the male employee not so much. I felt like it was a bother when I said I want to pay for it at that time. I did call uhaul to say the vehicle that I picked up had a horrible smell. The smell was so strong that thought at one I was going to through up. I had to drive with the windows down in the rain to try and be able to breathe.
