This place is a clean and secure indoor storage facility. Very helpful, accommodating, and friendly staff.

The location was great but your customer sevice on the phone is horrendous. Wasted over an hour just to reseve a truck while I have 4 ppl on a payroll waiting for your horrrible customer service reps transferring me from one depatmnet to another because one of your reps messed up the original reservation and made it for the wrong location. You cost me money so no, I am not happy.

Thanks for explaining to me about the fairly recent 24 hour drop off change. It was a challenge the night i went to return and we were stuck looking around for a half hour to ensure we are not just missing details. Everything was great otherwise though, thanks!

There were “computer” issues, the older gentleman had trouble navigating the screens and it took a phone call and about 40min to get going. Seems like your systems are hard to navigate. Was there an option for self service?

My storage was locked so had to wait 10 minutes. The dollies were broken. Those are my two concerns. Overall its a good, clean and well guarded storage unit.

Nothing I can think of. The truck I rented was in great working order, and clean. The staff both when |I picked up and dropped off were friendly and professional. I'll always try to rent from this location from now on.

The woman who helped us smelled like marijuana, the truck had tires that were promised to make it over the Coquihalla and we’re not adequate.

Location had nothing to do with the poor rating. The people there were helpful however the prepayment of the order was a mess and it took a long time to get the process completed when it should have been quick and easy.

My fiance and I have used U-Haul to move before. On that occasion, the time and pickup of our truck was changed substantially. Since we were moving from Richmond to Coquitlam, I decided not to stress about it even though it meant the difference in having help to move and not having help at all. We put that experience behind us and opted to use your company again to relocate from Coquitlam to Nanaimo. I could not have imagined a worse experience. On August 9, 2018, my fiance ordered a 20 foot truck for 7 am pick up at the Barnet Highway location in Coquitlam for Saturday, September 15. We were told this was confirmed and everything was good to go. On Thursday, September 13, my fiance received a notification that he could confirm everything again. When he did so, he was informed that the truck would be available at 4 pm on Saturday. It was supposed to be ready at 7 am so he assumed there had been an error and called to let you know. He was told that no, it wouldn't be ready until 4 pm and that there was no error - they simply changed the time. My fiance was coming over Friday night (as we were already moved to the Island minus our belongings), picking up the truck and packing everything up to make a 1 pm ferry reservation. Your employee made a snarky remark about how he would have to change ferry times. At no point did anyone notify us of the change - we only found out because he went to check in through your online system and inquired about the time being wrong. He was then put through to the scheduling department at which points he was told there may be a 20 foot truck available at another location that may or may not be in the Lower Mainland and a time could not be guaranteed. He called back on Friday morning and was told he could pick up a 20 foot truck in Surrey but not until 8:30 am. We tried to remain positive, thankful something had worked out. My fiance and his father went to the Surrey location to get truck and found it was only a 17 foot truck instead of the 20 foot truck we had booked. Again, we tried to make the best of it but unfortunately, could not fit all of our belongings into the truck and were forced to leave items behind. At the end of it all, we were forced to pay the same price and were not offered an apology or any compensation or discount for a smaller truck. That is, we were charged for a 20 foot truck despite only receiving a 17 foot truck that forced us to leave belongings behind. We gave U-Haul the benefit of the doubt after a bad experience with our first move. The experience this time around is absolutely inexcusable. I have never received such horrible customer service and the fact that no compensation was made and we were forced to pay for a truck we did not even get leaves me completely appalled. My fiance works in the service industry - we know shit happens but you put the customer first and you do your best to give them a positive experience. Absolutely nothing was done for us. Mov

Good facility. Very helpful staff and good location. Well-lit, clean spaces, easy parking. Prices are a bit high but overall I`m satisfied.
