Make sure your trucks are clean because I had to pay a cleaning fee for trash I didn't even know was in the cab of the truck. Also make sure you properly document everything I'm supposed to be doing and not over charge me for things I shouldn't be charged for. Also make sure equipment is stocked and viable. I had to pay for a chain on the auto transport that was never there in the first place. Very poor service.David B.

Was very disappointed . I was told that I had to bring the uhaul back to that location and could not drop it off at the one in the town that I live. So that cost me more money and more miles I had to pay for. I will never rent one from this location again. I guess that's how they make more money. Very disappointed.ELAINE J.

Claxton was fine and the person was super polite! However I was originally scheduled to pick up the haul at Tire King in Statesboro. I did not get a cal in advance informing me my truck would not be avAilable. I drove 3.5 hours to learn my truck was not available. I called the 1-800- number and was in hold for at least 30 minutes... then when I learned the truck was not available I stopped at Tire King to ask questions about another truck ...since 2 were in the lot ... TIRE KING STAFF WERE VERY RUDE ... I would recommend that you discontinue the relationship. I want to stress this!!! They were horrible- a friend even reported the same to me after I informed him of my experience. Then I drove 20 miles or so to Claxton to pick up another truck. Nice guy there, good truck .Georj L.

The location was closed. No one there. The vendor next door told me to back up in certain location. I was a little suspect of procedure. I placed key in drop box. Having no uhaul dealer there gave me no proper inspection and I had no way to verify figures. The location was closed in middle of the day and there was no message on door for customers. Didn't have auto transporter that I reserved was told to pick it up at another location on my way to the second location I called to confirm auto transporter pick up and the transporter was not there and I wasn't notified of it had to and $60.00 to refuel Uhaul truck. I had to call Uhaul to find a replacement auto transporter they gave me then another location which again was far from where I lived so I contacted that location and then was told that the auto transporter wouldn't be turned in until after business hours so I still was without an auto transporter contacted Uhaul and searching and was connected to Atlanta location for an auto transporter which after being on hold was transferred to another location and there was no dolly available. I ended up having to drive my personal vehiclealong with my truck rental from GA to OH paying for fuel not budget for leaving me spending money I was saving to move into my new place.ANGELA H.

For background, I have rented two U-hauls in two weeks - both one way to Claxton. The 1st time I could NOT find the location and was forced to return the U-haul 20 miles away in Statesboro. The day after I finally found the store but noticed that no one was at the store despite store hours stating that they should be open. For this most recent trip I was moving my daughter to live with me - when I finished I decided to drop off the U-haul at Brewton Computer Service during business hours. AGAIN, no one was there - I walked next door to the convenience store and was told that the owner was there earlier in the morning but comes and goes a lot due to having a job with the city. I went ahead and put my keys and a copy of the contract in his drop box and left. The following day, 8 hours after the vehicle should have been checked in, I called U-haul to see if it had been registered - it had not. I drove to the store at 5:00 (still within the store's listed business hours) and verified that the truck I rented was still there. It took me calling U-haul twice to contact Brewton Computer Service to make sure my truck was checked in as I did not wish to be charged extra. To his credit the owner did e-mail me to let me know that the truck was now checked in, but I never met the person face to face. I would recommend other u-haul dealers, such as the one in Statesboro, if you wish to get face-to-face customer service. This location also needs better signage to indicate their location.Steven W.

My initial rental was at the Warehouse in Statesboro Ga. The rental was for 10:00 a.m. and I went to pick it up @ 2:00 p. m. and they had already rented it out. First there was nothing stating I had to pick it up @ 10:00 a.m. Secondly they had my information and did not try to contact me to see if I still wanted the rental. I was only 20 miles away. Then I still had to find me a rental from Claxton, Ga. COE (correction of errors): 1) Make it clear as to how much time you have to pick up rental. 2) A courtesy call if late for reservation.
