We return the truck a day early and we were told we were going to get a refund. Instead, we were charged $236 more, and I had to spend an hour and a half on the phone with U-Haul to get the erroneous charge reversed, and after all of that they gave me a refund of $12, after returning a truck today early. When I explained that I had to spend 90 minutes on the phone to fix their mistake they could not have cared less. I did not get an apology or even a single word response. Just silence when I expressed my frustration politely. I'm definitely going to Penske next time, U-Haul is a crapshoot whether you get good equipment or good service or not.SETH W.

I needed a truck right away and they had exactly what I needed, a little truck. Got my load moved and returned before the truck needed to go out at 2pm! This was a great help in a minor crisis... Thanks U-HaulPhillip B.

the battery died in the van and had to get a passerby to help me get it started again. The owner of the place told me the vehicle was in a severe accident and had to be rebuilt I do not think this truck was checked out properly before I rented it. Very, very disgusted. i almost got stranded 40 miles from my home.Michael W.
Have the employee be more explanatory about all the facets of the rental and charges that were not explained, but showed up on my credit card receipt. I called the main uhaul number to complain with just there explanation of the added charges. This has been a negative experience about failure of your employee of not exposing the added fees as I was quoted a charge of $745 and ended up paying over $925. Since I am a healthcare provider and was advised by 3 patients to rent from Uhaul. I will let them know my experience. The truck was great it was very poor business transaction by failure of your employee to be upfront for the true charges that would be added after I left uhaul and showed on my credit card. Dr,. All was very good, but I will suggest next time that they will be more attentive about the electric wiring, because if car doesn't have it it is very important to install it before hand. Other than that they are very knowledgeable and very nice.Anahit B.
Locations were great - staff was helpful. What completely sucks is your national service infrastructure. Yuo overcharged me for my rental (added an extra rental day for some reason, even tho rental was returned 5 hours early). Tried to correct via your 800 phone number - spent 2+ hours on hold eventually to have it hang up on me. Tried submitting email - no response. Tried working with agents at dropoff, but they couldn't get through either. Then you charged me and sent a receipt that said right on it "0 nhours at $20/hr = $20". What the hell. Get your business in order, I don't have time to deal with your faulty systems.Brent M.

I did a 1-day rental here with an online reservation and had an excellent experience. Worked with 2 of the employees here and both were great. I found them to both helpful and very pleasant. The van I rented was clean and appeared very well maintained. I'd be very happy to use this location again.Sean H.

This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. Not only did all the online feature not work. But our location was moved and we didn't know about that until we were at the first location the morning of for hours. the web site said both locations would be open. And neither were open. 10 people sat in front of one of the buildings trying to get help through their phones. No one knew what to do or how to get their vehicles. We couldn't get a human to help us for over an hour. This was already a stressful move for my daughter. But we could not get a key for two hours. We couldn't get a human for hours of sitting in front of both places a block apart. This is so automated that it isn't automated. I didn't even get our contract until the day after. Nothing came in email or text with a code to pick up the van. We were told to call the day before. No one would answer the phone. Nothing every came in text or email to help us pick up the van. This cause fighting in my family and ruined our whole weekend. I will never use Uhaul again. And I review locate business for a living for the NewsBreak platform. Really! Not happy at all. At All! Can't believe I paid for this.Patrick K.

I spoke with the gentleman at the front desk explaining to him the issues that I had with the truck. I explained to him how the fuel sensor wouldn't allow me to fill up the tank to the level that I received it. I hope he passed along the issues that I had and that Uhaul will compensate me for the material difference in what I paid for and what I received from Uhaul.Natalie D.
