The billing part of U-Haul is not very good very unhappy the last two times at Christmas they tacked on a late day charge when do you haul was parked at the return spot on the day it was supposed to be just didn't feel like fighting it and this last time I got a call from a woman saying I'm late and I wasn't and she was rude thank you and I have dated pictures of the trailer parked in front of the U-Haul place in Crawfordville from Christmas I even called ahead and they said Parkette in front of the gate and that's exactly what I did and I can send y'all pictures if you'd like and I also have a Penske right down the roadjohn S.

The only problem was my reserved vehicle was not available. I was given a larger truck, but I really did not want the larger truck. The area I was going needed a small truck to maneuver. Also, i was only given a $24 credit for this, instead of the $50 guarantee that is on the website. I'm not sure why I was given less than the $50.WILLIAM M.

Stop allowing them to rent trucks as everything they do is a mess! They rented me a dirty truck smelling of smoke and with a sticky soda can in the holder. They charged me for pads they did not have, $28 dollars of gas when I returned it to the same level it was when picked up and charged me for an 8 day rental when I only had a one day rental of 30 miles. They also charged me for oil and tire damages when there were none. I contacted them two times with all the information but they never corrected and returned the anmounts due to my credit card.GREGORY I.

This was probably the worst experience I've had with U-Haul. I made a reservation for a truck and a dolly 5 days in advance. When I get to the location they inform me they do not have any dollys on site. This is unacceptable. Had I been told there were no dolly's on this site or they were not available I wouldn't have gone to this location. I was told that I could drive to another U-Haul to see if they had one, which once again is unacceptable because if I go over my estimated miles I will be charged and I am paying for the gas. I shouldn't have to calculate in driving around Tampa to look for a dolly in my estimated mile usage. I don't understand the point of a reservation of certain items if the customer is going to be told they are not available upon arrival. This made my moving experience more stressful because I am unable to move my furniture without a dolly, so it was something that I had no choice but to go out and find once I left the location. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location based off my experience.MICHELLE C.
They were extremely busy when I went into pickup my cargo van and it may have come in and they did not have the time to check it out good. Other than it had a chip in the windshield that we saw as we were pulling out of the lot it looked clean. But as we had it found a Mt dew bottle behind the drivers seat and a receipt behind the passengers seat. The back look clean as two of the blankets were spread out across the floor. As we were cleaning out our daughters house as she died, we ended up getting some pine needles in. After we took out her stuff I started to clean it out I pulled out the blankets to clean them and the black rubber floor mat underneath them was filthy. As I swept them off I saw dirt and fuzz balls along the side corners of the floor and the side panels. I pulled the floor mat over some to be able to get that edge and found that all under the floor mats hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile. I cleaned the edges down but said the heck with under the mats. I then took the van back to drop it off and when I went to check it in my cell phones battery had died and I wasn't able to check in properly. When I got home I called and did a check in and explained all that I said above. I hope the windshield got repaired as it would continue to spider out until it had to be replaced. I understood the time it toke to get me on the road as busy as they were and their service, attitude and professionalism was Great. If the van had been properly been cleaned, and it been dirty in the back for a long time, it would have been a five.Byron S.

This location was a dealer, so she had no supplemental supplies. So we couldn't get PO's or a KO. Also I'm an employee and it didn't give her an option to do employee discount, and we couldn't find where to do it anywhere.DORIS E.

The dolly I reserved wasn't available but I was still charged. There were two large wooden pallets in the back that I had to take to my house first so I had room for the items I was picking up. I was charged for the additional mileage despite pointing this out to the pickup location. I was charged for fuel even though I returned the vehicle with the same amount of fuel I rented it with. I'd like a full refund for all of these errors. It's not an isolated error. It was multiple errors even after pointing them out before the bill was processed.Kenneth A.

This was not the location we had listed as our preference on the contract. there was an Auto Transport at the location we requested, but we could not have it EVENTHOUGH we called and confirmed with them the day before (Thursday at 1:00pm) that it would be available and they said Yes. We had to drive around Tampa to find the alternate location that had a trailer for us. Added 2 hours to our day... then, when we were diving on the highway, the trailer wheels were either so out of balance, or damaged that the Trailer shook like hell for 900 miles home at Most highway speeds. what a horrible experience!! i was a wreck when i got done..Anthony L.

First location I went to at 9806 Harney Rd, refused to take the trailer, which was very inconvenient and inconsiderate. Second location at 11915 NE US Hwy 301 N was CLOSED and did not provide any contact support as I left a voicemail and NEVER returned my call!?!? Third location located at 15320 Morris Bridge Rd finally took my trailer, however, Uhaul rep was not there and I left trailer with the fruit stand lady that did not provide any documentation that I had dropped off or verified the condition of the equipment?!? Having no idea what the U Haul response would be later pending an email to confirm!?!?!?!?!? So, in summary Uhaul sent on a total of 25 mile road trip to find a drop off location, did not provide any return services, and showed me that U Haul representatives throughout are not professionals nor serious about customer service!DAVID C.

Truck Was Blocked In ..Filthy in the bed and on the outside. Luckily A young guy who worked at the farm but not the uhaul part was able to get me the keys to move another truck that had blocked my truck in. wasted over an hour while people showed up at my house to move. I have rented from uhaul a few other times and overall a good experience but this time was very frustrating to say the least.Ryan M.
