I’ve been using U-Haul for years, and this was my first time at this location. I’m so sad that I haven’t been coming here all along. I will not use anyone else in Lubbock. They were extremely professional and kind. The place is in a great location. Very clean and organized. I was really impressed! Thank you!!
Patricia DNot a good experience at this location! Go to the one on 19th! Way better customer service and they answer the phone! I was charged over $300 for a couple runs. Part of it was a deposit of $250. The kid said I would get it back(the $250) but I have not. Everytime I call, no answer! I’m going thru uhaul customer service now bc obviously this location doesn’t care about customers! It’s a mattress place too so I wouldn’t recommend purchasing there bc can see it being a bad transaction! The lady had different answers when I returned. The kid said I’d pay about $50 if I stayed at no more than 50 miles. The mileage he said was 69 cents per mile. When I returned the truck the mileage was 89 cents per mile and I was being charged $78. She proceeded to tell me she looked up previous uhaul experiences and they charged me the same. That was a bold faced lie bc I have all my transactions with uhaul. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! U have so many options in Lubbock!

Daniel Gdepending in the time of day; U-Haul can get busy; customers have to be patient. booking on line and calling a few days ahead of your p/u to confirm your truck, trailer, AT, etc., is always helpful.
Alfred LI was very frustrated that the gas tank was literally empty, and the owners told me, "The first thing you need to do is go to the gas station down the road on the right because it is on fumes." The gas light was on and if there had not been a gas station right down the road, then I am sure I would've run out of gas. They should have taken precautionary measures and at least filed it up some. After moving what I needed to move, and on my way back, I went to the truck, and it wouldn't start. I had to call for roadside assistance, and the mechanic showed up very promptly and was beyond helpful! I had to set the battery, and I was back on the road quickly! When I came back, the gentleman was a little rude to me, as if it was my fault we had to call for roadside assistance when I was talking about it in front of everyone, but he never got up to assist me; I waited for the lady to come out and she helped me.

Ricky MAdd a U-HAUL SIGN in the front to alert customers that this is the “U-HAUL” place and with the address 12213 S University PLUS a SIGN with arrow and words, “Drive to the back” so will will then SEE their current sign “Deliver Equipment Here & Wait” PLUS ADD STE 100, UHAUL. We almost missed them as they were heading out early but thank God we didn’t! They were very friendly & efficient!

Maria NDrop off location was changed with little detail, other than link to online checkout. Which incidentally costs $20 for a convience fee. This location was not open. Had a note on the door to call for appointment. Called numerous numbers with no "human" to answer any of the calls(still waiting). Uhaul's product is great. Their customer service SUCKS!
