Both locations were great. The problem I have is with u-haul corporate policies. You changed my drop-off location after I had already loaded the trailer without any compensation given for the extra 80 miles I had to drive to drop off the trailer. I know you have a cya (cover your ass) clause in the contract that puts the burden on the customer. Shame on you is all I can say.Clarence A.

I dropped off a 15' truck after moving my mother's things one way from another state. Plenty of parking space to park the truck without tight maneuvering. Staff was very nice and helpful.Andrew O.

Everyone that I have worked directly with has extremely helpful and patient. The only issue I have is finding a truck right now. The mileage is to expensive for 400mile trips so we tried a trailer since that's all that was available. I don't think it is necessarily U-Haul's fault that there were no trucks available for my home move. Maybe offer an option to move some trucks to a closer location for areas that are in need.DOUGLAS Y.

When dropping off trailer at the designated destination, was told that I could not drop the trailer off there because they had to many!!! Then was told that I would have to take it to another location, 2 hour drive away!! I just drove 2300 miles!! Need less to say, I passed by where they wanted me to take it!! I wasn't going backwards after already putting in my driving time getting there. After repeated explanations and request there was obviously no resolve. So I walked out, unhooked the trailer and dropped it there!! The lady was completely unreasonable, offering no other options. Them having to many trailers is not my problem when that was the designated drop off place, it's a U-Haul problem!! TerribleJAMES W.

The Bonners Ferry location was fantastic, exceptional customer service. However, all other support from your 1-800 number, I will call it uhaul corporate, was pisspoor at best. I'm pretty sure no one cares at uhaul but just in case there is someone who wants to improve your organization, I will provide feedback. This is the worst experience I've ever had and you put us in danger, I've lived all over the U.S. and move every couple years due to the nature of my job but I will never use uhaul again. Uhaul corporate office redirected me to a larger city for pick-up and I found out the afternoon prior to pick up. Considering I am a woman about to drive through Canada alone with her 12 year old child and dog, this was the worst news, especially considering all the covid requirements that Canada has. We ended up being able to resolve picking up at a closer location but it still cost me an entire day of moving time because of the domino effect that it caused by uhaul corporate doing this. I made my reservation weeks before and I specifically called to make my reservation to ensure that I was able to pick up in Bonners Ferry because it would drastically change my timeline and planning considerations if I could not. Due to all of the other things I had to change at the last minute, including our required covid tests to enter Canada, your corporate office put us in a very bad situation without any concern or consideration. A few days into the trip, I noticed one of the autohauler tires kept getting low. I stopped to get it checked and there was a plug in the sidewall of the tire, it should have never been rented to us like this. We are driving through through large tracts of remote land, with little to no cell or internet service and few towns. I didn't have enough internet to claim roadside assistance so I called for 2 1/2 hours. I would be on hold for a certain amount of time and then it would just hang up on me. When I did get a hold of someone they explained that's it's an algorithm built into your system and that they can't help me and transferred me to roadside assistance, and I got hung up on again. This happened multiple times. Canadians are not allowed to come in contact with us at all, nor can we go into any public places due to their covid restrictions, they risk fines, jail times and their businesses being shut down if they do not comply. A Canadian business woman came out to me and invited me to come into her business and login to her WiFi so I could use the online road assistance request. She risked fines and losing her business to help us, we were out there for hours. Once I did the online request, we got help right away. Thank God for her help. I would expect uhaul to be flexible enough to adapt to customers that are in an area where they cannot access internet but once again my expectations were too high I guess. Traveling to Alaska via Canada has been remote for years, it's not like this is something new. I was re-routed by Canadian authorities due to wildfires in British Columbia and was given a special travel route that we had to take due to covid. Just talking the fastest route wasn't an option to us. I was told by your 1-800 personnel that I would be given an extra day and more mileage. When I arrived in Palmer, Alaska- none of this was in the system. The Palmer location was awesome and they helped me and got it fixed. Your local offices are great but your corporate office is absolutely incompetent and has no regard for your customers whatsoever. Overall, I am honestly revolted by your organization.ELISE M.

When I made the reservation, I listed this site as the drop off location, and it was listed as such on my confirmation. However, when I arrived, I was told to call UHaul because no drop off location was listed in the system. I was on hold for 10-15 minutes and talked to 2 people (who were very friendly), but did finally have the issue corrected.PATRICK R.

It was nearly 3 times higher than the exact same size truck I rented to the same place about 7 months ago. When i went to drop the trailer off I was told I needed to take it to a different drop site 75 miles away. This was totally unacceptable. I should have been told this at pu. After much complaining, the trailer was left, since it was a small trailer. This procedure needs to be corrected!!!GARY M.
It was clean in the respect that there was no trash, but it is a dirt parking area and I don't usually use the term dirt and clean in the same sentence. There was plenty of space to move around and it was easy to find a place to put the trailer and use the website to check out. I tried to contact this location via telephone and was sent to voicemail. But the convenient U-Haul return website made the process seamless.Mark H.
