The trailer smelled like marijuana. Two of the tires were below 20 psi and I was forced to stop to inflate all tires appropriately. No one assisted me in the hook-up. The trailer was not conveniently located compared with another larger and cleaner facility. The trailer was also not available at my requested time. I had to pick it up at 10 am when the store opened which put me behind 3 hours.Charles E.

Took over 30 minutes to get signed out. Then, my reservation was converted from long haul to in-town with miles (had this corrected later by u-haul). Really felt like I was somewhere that was not U-Haul, just a dealer that could not do much to help me.Raymond W.

We returned the truck on sunday and the business was closed. There were envelopes in which to leave the key and copy of the rental agreement. No one gave us a lock fto use for the truck so we had to leave it unlocked with the dolly inside (I had pads as well which I put in the cab of the truck). If they want it locked, they should make sure you have a lock to lock it up with. I got an email from Blue Water Marine early Monday morning that said they got the truck and all was in order which I appreciated.PATRICIA M.

Took too long to assist me even after reserving in advance. Then gave me the Wrong size after re-adjusting he didn't tell me it was going to cost an arm & a leg. Not happy at all. The Price went up over $140 over the previous & didn't tell me about the gas nor the Travel etc etc.SHERI T.

The location was 20 miles away from my selected one, costing me extra to get there and get back. My selected location was only 2 miles from my house. Imagine my surprise when I was called by someone 20 miles away. I stayed with it since it was only a day away and didn't want to mess anything up. Blue Water Marine was fine, except that I ordered 24 furniture covers and they only had 6, several of which were filthy.MICHAEL R.
I reserved a 5X8 trailer and called to confirm twice. Both times I was told it was there. When I showed up, they only had a 6X12 trailer. Instead of renting it to me at the 5X8 price, I was charged full price. They had me over a barrel, so I paid. In addition to that, I had to basically fill out everything I did on-line at the location. It added about twenty minutes to the time. Filling out the information on-line was a waste. I just had to do it all over again at the location. The rep was professional, but could not answer why I had to fill out the information all over again. I believe the situation was directly related to corporate policy.WILLIAM D.
The process to pick up my rented trailer was way longer (at least a half an hour) than it should have been. For some reason, the person I picked it up from needed to enter in all of the information I had already entered in the U-Haul website and had needed to enter to rent the U-Haul in the first place. Also, the location had great difficulty running my credit card through the website, though there was absolutely nothing wrong with my credit card. Finally, I received a notice that the trailer I rented was overdue, but it was returned a half-hour early two days before (on the day it was due). This was because the location did not check in the trailer I had rented when they opened on Monday. It was frustrating to receive a text and an e-mail telling me the trailer was overdue when I knew it had definitely been returned and it was annoying to have to call and straighten the misunderstanding out. It's just not something I should have had to deal with.Elinor N.
