Failed to check in my truck and rented same one out next day. Charged me $623 for delivery of truck to different location 4 states away. Did all this after talking with location manager and she said she took care of the check in error. How to open tickets with customer service to request correction and refund my account.James K.
Why should I have to drop off the trailer at a UHaul location that is 3 times further away than two other UHaul locations that are closer to me. The one location even has trailera close to the same size as the one I rented.ANSON R.
When I got reservation for Saturday and was told location would be open but received a call the day before asking if I could pick up a day early. Couldn't do that because we live 4hrs from the pick up location. Ended up having to pick trailer up without a representative at the location which was no big deal. The trailer selected for us was missing a tail light so had to call to switch out trailers.Bobby J.

They charged me a $20 late fee because they say I dropped the truck off 6:30 p.m. and they close at 3:30 p.m. when in fact it was dropped off at 2:00 p.m. before I went to work. When I questioned them on it I was told to call corporate in a nasty tone. I did. Spoke to a very nice gentleman and he corrected it for me and gave me my $20 back. Said they've had several complaints about this facility. Will not rent from this location again.Blanche D.

First this is not where we booked the trailer for pickup, but is where we were sent to a very remote area about 20 minutes extra drive. This is a truck garage and no one was there at our pickup time. I called and the owner said he was on a wreck call and finally showed up about 30 minutes later. Very slow computer processing the rental and I had to walk through a truck garage to an office with a sign that said they weren't responsible if I was injured because the public wasn't allowed in that area. I would like to pickup a trailer where I book it (which was six weeks in advance actually) and not be sent to a remote area several miles away.Roger J.

Had to drop truck off on Sunday, it was clean. Tried to use the app to return, but didn't work because location is not cell phone friendly.. called the next morning and told me they had it, would check them in a little later, I didn't need to come up there. Once I got the bill , I was charged a $25 cleaning fee and the truck was clean when we left it, I have picturesâ€¦ just feel like UHaul stuck it to us on that one!!!Tim M.
I was charged for a cleaning and charged for after hour drop off, even though I still had an additional day. The truck was not dirty. And I do not see why I was charged for the after hours charge? I mean I brought it their prior to the day it needed to be. Will never NEVER ever use Uhaul again, worst experience ever!!LAURALEE S.

The guy a at this location didn't even know what they were doing. One guy was too busy to help so he had a different guy who asked," how do I do it" do the check in. After about a 40 minute wait I get an all good. Everything checks out. Three days later I get a bill for 86.00 saying i went 115 miles over and the gas was dramatically lower than I actually left it. I have receipts. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.Nicole S.

I was originally scheduled to pick up the truck at The Building Village in Mount Airy. When I arrived the office was closed. I called the two numbers I had for this operator and left voicemails. Neither call was ever returned. I wasted over an hour driving to this location, waiting and calling. I then called the corporate office and was rescheduled to pickup in Cana. I will never conduct any business with the Building Village operator again and will tell everyone I know about the terrible service there.Barry B.
Several issues. But the 2 that upset me the most is i made my reservation a week in advance and they changed me to a bigger truck on my pick up day and told me i had no choice even though i made reservations for a smaller truck and still had to pay higher mileage and rental fee anyway. But the one that upset me the most is they closed at 330pm and i returned the truck at 215pm and they still charged me a after hours fee because the guy was on lunch break when i returned it.Mark M.

I moved to Mount Airy NC that has two different locations for UHaul yet you made me drive 20 minute away to Cana Va not only did this add more mileage to my truck trip but it was extremely out-of-the-way. I would not recommend this to anyone as I was very unhappy with having to go so far when I knew there was place just a few mile from my home. I had reserved this truck over a week earlier so the company knew where I was going why they made me drive it 20 minutes away was ridiculous.Kenneth H.
