I've contacted many times about how horrible this experience was. There is a gate - I was not provided a code. The facility itself was not open during the appointment time.

This location has a keyed gate and you have to wait for someone to open the gate to drop off the truck.

Felt disorganized.Kept getting late notices when paid in full. Have cell number for emergencies took 2 hrs after 23 calls leaving msg & texts to get help getting in gate to get in unit.

The Equipment was great. The service was less than par. the service facility was not able to connect to the system upon pick up - I had to contact the customer service center. I never received any paperwork or much of an apology. They also were Closed and not around at 2 pm for an early return. The app was not working and I had to wait almost an hour for a customer service agent to help me. - AWFUL!!. Will think very much next time about using UHAUL and definately where I pick it up. I was told someone would contact me about this within 72 hours.. I have heard nothing yet. Again, not sure anyone wants to hear the truth!. Renting and Returning were nearly impossible. Had I not had a phone and the customer service agent helped me after being on hold forever, this rental would have been impossible. . Stuart Robertson 540-815-6273

I was quite surprised that given the reason for the rental, that the location would not work with us on pricing. We rented the cargo van to take supplies to WV flood victims. We had the rental from saturday am to monday, but ended up returning it sunday evening. When at the office to pick it up, the young girl there was confused as to whether or not the uhaul could even be taken out of state..... That took a long time to figure out! We also thought maybe uhaul would work with us on price since the rental was for disaster relief purposes. But, we got lucky and found some other businesses in Roanoke who are allowing us to transport the rest of our donations free of charge. We will use them from now on!

Honesty in your marketing would be nice. I rented a very nice $19.99 per day van. By the time the very excessive mileage charges of $0.69 per mile were added for the 31 miles I drove the total charges were $46.58. I may rent again but I will shop around first. The woman I rented from, Wendy, couldn't have been more pleasant.

Everything went so smoothly--Wendy and Duane were so easy to work with, and there were no surprises with the charges, which had been my experience years ago. Our only problem was the getting on and off the back of the cargo van, but all-in-all, it was a great experience, and we'd recommend anyone to work with this business. Thanks again!

The man who was working Saturday morning was absolutely amazing! He was cheerful and helpful. He explained everything to us and made sure my fiance and I had everything we needed to move.

The clerk did not know that using a debit card would put a subtraction on my checking account. I was told it would just be a hold. because the money came out I had an overdraft. I was told on phone at the 800 number I could do a cash deposit. He would not let me .
