You could advise the customer that pick up and drop off locations are not guaranteed and could change the day before the rental begins. If it does you're mileage allowance not be adjusted due to the change. My assigned drop off was over 30 miles from the one requested. .Had I been told ANY of this on the front end my selection of unsullied for this move might not have happened as I financially I had a plan that did not incur he extra mileage charges or fuel due to the change I was made aware of less than 24 hours before my move was to begin

Anthony B.This location was excellent and the service received here was exemplary. However, this location was over 30 minutes from my initial request and in the opposite direction of where I was moving. This forced me to spend over 3 hours in the U-haul when it should have taken around an hour of total driving time. This is completely unacceptable especially with gas prices the way they are right now. I ended up spending over $70 to return the tank to where it was and then they charged me another 15 dollars on top of that. Overall terrible service, I will not be using U-Haul again for another move.

We dropped off before noon, due by 2:30. Was charged a day because of whoever processes paperwork didn't input drop off until 4:41pm! Didn't receive email/call/text about this charge. Had to do exploration for why U-haul was charging our card $30.66. Poor business practice on their part. Poor assumption that it was dealt with via word of mouth on ours.

BEAUREGARD B.Unit was delivered 2 days before due date but I received a late notice because it was not checked in properly. The owner of the business serving as a U-Haul site was very helpful and corrected the late delivery as soon as he was aware of it. However, U-Haul Equipment Recovery never responded to the information I submitted. Owner was excellent but U-Haul response was not.
Jim S.The seat adjustment was broken so I couldn't pull the seat up and could barely reach the pedals. I know they think the air freshener is a good thing but when you have terrible allergies it gives you a headache. There was a maintenance warning about the tires that stayed on most of the trip.

Clarence T.Drove only 33 miles and was charged $45 for 10 gallons of gas. The owner was not helpful and told me to call corporate. I didn't want to try to maneuver such a large truck through our small gas stations and risk an accident. I am fine with $4.50 a gallon, but the amount of gas used was clearly overstated and should be corrected.

In addition, the location was not ready to process me at ten, and I had to wait until 10:23 when I could depart with the truck.
