I was asked to put away the equipment on my own. back it in to the other trailer area, unhook and put the truck back into the fleet myself. Not a huge deal, but it takes the customer service part out of it.Stephanie P.

I picked up the vehicle in Cincinnati, but he was having computer issues. I told him my drop off was in Pickens, SC on S. Catherine St. I had dropped a previous rental off here. I drive to the location, it was being renovated, they directed me to the Blue Flame location 4 miles away. Drop off was simple, but I was charged $174 for wrong location. I went to the correct location, not the one I haul texted me on my drive which was 50-60 minutes away from my house over mountainous terrain. You have lost a customer and I will share this info if anyone asks about I haul. Mr. Torbeck in Cincinnati did not note my choice off drop off location.DOUGLAS D.

Shocking! One day in advance of sending my team to pick up the truck, I called the location to confirm that I had insurance. The woman was discourteous and said she couldn't help me and wanted me to wait till they checked in. When I said why can't we just add the insurance, she started yelling at me and hung up; unbelievable !!! although she called back about an hour later to apologize, the damage was done. Unacceptable behavior by any employee interfacing with a customer. Secondly, but secondary to the above; my original preferred pick up location in Rosman, North Carolina which was unable to secure the 26 foot truck. Your organization was able to locate a truck for me in Pickens South Carolina, this required an extra two hours effort for pick up. since this was not my decision but I logistics challenge for U-Haul, it would've been appropriate to issue an extra 100 mile credit. Truck had roach's bugs in it. Got into my stuff. Then there were no hand trucks. Do you know how hard it is to move a refrigerator without hand trucks? Very hard. Then I got told to return truck back to location where I picked it up. Then got an email telling me another location. So yes our experience with this Uhaul location was terrible.Regina W.

Only concern was that my two U-Boxes were loaded on a trailer for me to pick up without the roof and vinyl wrap protection on either box. We had heavy rain that evening and I was concerned about my goods getting damaged from water leakage. There was no damage but I would have rather had the wraps on the boxes so I wouldn't have had to worry.KEITH M.

Customer service was fantastic even though the office needs to update it's computer equipment. The lady at the desk was very kind, knowledgeable, and apologetic for our short delay. They had plenty of trucks available, but we reserved online and that shortened the process once we arrived at the store. I recommend using this store, but make sure you're not rushed for time. It might take a few "minutes", but it's worth the wait for the service and seamless process. ¡Gracias!BRENDA L.

Overall experience was good except for being able to contact UHaul on the phone. Always a 45-60 minute wait time to get an agent. Very frustrating and unacceptable to not have agents to answer calls in a timely manner. The moving helpers were a great help with loading the UBoxes.Karen W.

This place didn't turn. In the real date for truck being returned or the milage. Plus added insurance that we didn't ask for and charged us an extra $300. We ended up paying over $700 to rent a truck for one week and driving 90 miles. Don't use this location and look at what you are being charged for before you sign anything. They never had us sign anything upon return either so watch it.BEWARE!!!!!Paul M.

To be more forthcoming when people call in for reservations. Do not mislead customers and put financial burdens on customers. I know this is a business and you provide customers with a service. With this being said have a hurt everyone is not a millionaire and there is a pandemic going on. People are really struggling being a front line worker is hard enough without being side stepped. My comments are NOT directed to the Blue Flame location as I had to return the truck after hours when they were closed. My concern was with U-Hauls phone automated service, along with the phone chat feature. When I clicked on the return location notification that was sent to my I-Phone the app either just cycled and cycled or said that it couldn't recognize my location due to my security settings. I rechecked my settings a couple of times, which was strange receiving that message as it worked when I picked the truck up originally in Rock Hill, SCâ€¦no issues there. I tried calling the U-Haul 1-800 # and said the wait was 15 to 20 mins. I held on for over an hour and no one ever picked up. Then I tried using U-Haul's chat feature and explained my situation. The individual kept asking me to check my phone settings and said I might be using the wrong website link. But I explained several times that I was trying to connect using U-Haul's link that was sent to me and my phone security settings were off. I don't think the chat individual understood what was going on and was no help. Never apologized for the wait or if there was another alternative. Basically, reading from a script. Finally, I called the Rock Hill location after they opened and explained what was going on. They apologized and I left the keys in the lock box at the Blue Flame location. Rock Hill was very helpful. I've rented from U-Haul more than 15 times over the years both local and long-haul one way trips with all those experiences very satisfying. I'll continue to use your service in the future as the need arises. However, I wanted to make you aware that I believe someone needs to look into your on-line website linkage, as well as instruct chat assistance for such issues as they may arise. I've worked in the customer service arena for over 30 years and you can tell that this instance got my attention. Gracias.William F.

Service was slow and difficult. Trailer had a flat tire, which we had to wait to get replaced. The tire they used to replace it with had a slow leak through the valve stem and was almost completely flat by the time I got home, about 15 miles. Perfect example of a business doing the absolute bare minimum to get by, and nothing more. Would not recommend.Kevin H.

I reserved my truck online and went to pick it up and the location was closed even though it was during normal operating hours. When the business owner was called he was a bit rude over the phone and said we would have to wait until he got there to get the keys. I called customer service and the man on the phone was very helpful and nice about fixing the time so I wouldn't be charged more for the owner not being there.Robert B.
Your website said â€œcome in we are openâ€ but arriving at location - it was closed. An employee happened to be picking up his own car and called owner who came and made rental happen.
