The trailers need jacks. I had to LIFT the trailer BY MYSELF. I had NO IDEA I would need to do that or I would've made other arrangements. I got there and was asked if I had help, as the person who normally done it passed away - I did not have anyone to help and had to lift the tongue. It was at least 200lbs. My back still hurts. I also had no way to disconnect the trailer until drop off either, as I didn't have a jack to leave it or raise it off the ball.

Unfortunately, the spouse of the owner of the business and who maintained the uhaul side of the business just passed away. There was really no one to help with the trailer hookup. Fortunately we have rented trailers before so no issues hooking up and returning the trailer. I hope she can find someone to assist with the uhaul side of the business.

I had reserved my rental several days before via another location. Two days before my rental date I received a text telling me that the pick-up location had changed. This was a good thing … but … not telling me the name of the pick-up location (I only got the address) made me overlook the change and to the original location. I was not happy about the change, even though the locations were only a few miles apart. Need to put store name with address to eliminate chance of confusion.

The moving company U-Haul recommend damaged 6 items on the very first move. The company was Jon's Friendly moving company. I canceled the job before anything else was damaged.

Charged for a missing pad when returning ALL pads, charged an extra 1.7 gallons of gas after returning truck with the right amount of gas, and charged an extra 0.25 miles of mileage. I have pics proving otherwise. When I attempted to contact the owner via voicemail and with an in-store visit, the owner didn’t even have decency to call back. This company does not represent U-Haul in the proper light and should have their agency rights revoked. I will never do anything with U-Haul going forward thanks to this agent.

The only improvement that I can recommend is to make it evident that the drop box for the keys is located at the back of the location. Since I returned the truck on a Sunday when the location was closed, I looked for a drop box in the front of the store and did not see one. It would be helpful to have a sign indicating that the drop box is at the rear of the location.

I would not recommend renting a U-Haul at all. I used the mobile pickup to rent a u-haul and I had to call customer service after calling my bank because my payment wasn’t going through. I explained to the customer service agent that it was something on U-haul’s end and she was very rude and didn’t attempt to resolve anything. There is nothing about this experience that would make me want to rent a u-haul again. The ladies that worked at the store were polite but my experience overall was not good. This is my first and last time renting a u-haul.

I rented a trailer on Saturday for 24 hours but the rental place is closed on Sunday. I asked how do return it if your closed. She said just drop it off out back and make sure it’s here before Monday morning. I dropped the trailer off around 730 on Sunday. On Monday I received a charge for 2 days rental. I called to inquire why &the response was “Regarless of what the girl behind the counter told you. You should know what your signing.”If had I had known this I would have returned the trailer before I had dinner with my family. It’s unfair to to pay for charge when you were misled. I do not recommend using Bloomingdales Florist Tuxedo and Uhaul rentals. Buyer Beware!

The staff at the location did not seem very familiar with the checkout process utilizing the mobile process. Spend too much time trying to find my reservation and in the end seemed to give up and just give me the keys.

The rental was supposed to be setup for off hour mobile pickup, this was not done and cost me valuable time and planning. I had reserved the truck at least a week early. The person from the shop was not very apologetic and just said yes, out person just forgot to set it up.

Am very appreciative of the EXCELLENT customer service that was given to me through and through. The van I rented was very efficient for my purpose of moving appliances and garden equipments/tools. Very clean and relatively newly put in service. Excellent performance! I had no problem with it.

At the time that I reserved the truck, U-Haul estimated that it would take 421 miles for the trip from 417 Centerville Tpke S, Chesapeake, VA to my home located at 31 Havenwood Road and 1050 Bay Street, the U-Haul drop off. That estimate was off by 26 miles which cost me an additional $11.33. I am contesting that extra charge and hereby request a refund for this said amount.

Didn't want to deal with anyone when picking up the vehicle. That is why I selected online items, not using the store. Not only was the pickup location changed, but I had to deal with the location who didn't have the paperwork ready. Uhaul is way behind in online operation.

Give the customer the equipment they ask for. I reserved a box truck with three seats a week in advance ce. The day of the rental I got a van with two seats. The van was too small, had to leave some items behind.

The actual pick up location was fine. The woman was fine. The install of my hitch I have a huge problem with. Why would you install a 1 7/8" ball then rent me equipment that takes a 2" ball? If a friend would not have caught that after I hooked up the trailer there would have been a disaster on the highway and you would be to blame 100%. I am looking into legal action.

Stop offering a location pick up that’s not really available! This pick up was pretty far from where I booked it. You emailed a change that I didn’t see and went to the one I booked. Very frustrating!
