A trailer and truck was dropped off per the contract and the rep failed to check in the trailer. We later received an email 5-6 hours later that we were to drop off the truck at a different location. The communication and customer service is poor at the authorized dealer locations and also at the call centers. While trying to resolve this issue, a manager by the name of Samantha (she would not confirm her name), hung up the phone intentionally on me while I was trying to verify her information after stating that there was no other person I could speak to with uhaul except for her. This too has been reported. This type of behavior towards customers is unacceptable and going forward I will not be using uhaul services unless the authorized retail location employees and customer service reps have a better understanding of customer service.

Uhaul has poor customer service from the reps to the managers. I was hung up on by someone possibly named Samantha when I asked to speak to her supervisor. She tells me that there is noone past her. When I ask for her name for reference, she hung up the phone in my face. The issue is unresolved. The employee at Black Rock Gardens took the uhaul and trailer not indicating that the drop off location had changed. The last receipt I have is stating that the location for drop off was 38100 n. Gantzel road 85140. Someone updated the system and enter a completely different address.

I asked to have an appliance dolly in the truck before I picked it up and when I got there they had given me a utility dolly and since it was on a Sunday, they were closed so I could not request them to switch it. Then, when doing mobile checkout, I was charged for a utility dolly and an appliance dolly. I think they need to pay a little more attention to the supplies that they are giving compared to what was requested and make sure the customer is not being charged for items they did not receive.

The lot is full of mud from a rain storm. No pavement. Left with a half tank of gas, drove 17 miles and charged $11.25 for gas when I literally used 1/16 of fuel. Complete rip off.

The employee at this location was friendly and helpful. Unhooking the trailer was fast and easy. Overall the location was very good. My issue was that there were Uhaul locations closer to my home and would have been more convenient, but were not offered as an option to return the trailer to. Also, the location I had to return to was not open late on Saturday, or at all on Sunday. I only needed the trailer for Friday and Saturday, but had it for an additional 36-48 hours, which I am sure I paid for. Because of this experience, I will be looking to another rental company the next time I move or need to rent equipment.

Things are going to go wrong at some point, it's how the people involved deal with the issues that make the difference. I found the on line process to be a major pain (site would not let me log in). The tread came off one of the rear tires and “roadside assistance” had me on hold for 30 minutes before I gave up and just drove back to U-haul. But the lady at the office did everything in her power to make it right for me.

The worker saw me struggling with the online app. I had to wait while he walked by me twice and didnt acknowledge me or even talk to me and instead helped someone else. It was a frustrating experience.

Inside windows dirty, wiper blades no good and it did indeed rain, engine 11/2 gl low on coolant and the truck overheated, the transport ball tongue was not locked down and the trailer flipped loose and slammed into the back of the truck while loading the car. I have used Uhaul several times in the past but no longer will bring my business to your company after this experience.

We tried calling and making a reservation a week in advance at this location and could not get ahold of anyone. Then a women finally answered and told us to call back because she was busy. We were never able to get ahold of her again so finally a week later I walk in the day I need the truck and the young man that was in there was on his phone talking to a mechanic about his car and had me sitting there waiting for 10 minutes. Then he finally gets me a truck after that hands me the keys tells me to go find the truck and also has me take the dully with me and doesn't even help. Such horrible customer service at this location I wish I could get my money back.

Employee has headphones in and feet up on his desk when I come inside. Tells me to leave the keys and he will check me out. The following day U-haul calls me to ask if I would like to keep the truck for additional days or if I plan on returning. The attendant never even processed my truck return, and I didn't get my final receipt until 36 hours after I returned the truck, promoted by someone calling him. Terrible experience, I will not be returning.

Have a clean cab for rental trucks and trailers that are safe. I even turned the rental equipment in 2 days early and there was no type of reimbursement for early returns, I think that would be an honest thing to do as a company if customers didn't need the rentals for as long as they had originally anticipated.

1) morning I picked up truck, got the combo from the online check in (painful but already did a survey on that) and it was the exact same combo that was set on the lock already. workers there didn't even mix it up when setting it up night before. 2) Returned the truck about 3 hours earlier than anticipated. Arrived at the location, it was open but no one was in office. Had to wait 10 mins and then call the # (with no answer) before the clerk strolled up from across the street. Nice.

This location is very dusty and dirty. It needs a complete face lift and the lot needs paving. The manager was pleasant enough and the equipment that was provided worked OK.

Store was closed during posted hours of operation when I returned trailer. Hours of operation indicated they should have been open at that time. However they were helpful and efficient in getting me the equipment when I needed it.

Did not find out until after rental of the U-Haul that you cannot return the U-Haul trailer truck to any other location due to this location having on the vehicles. It was also very confusing at this location has one name in the card That I received from staff had a different name on it. Therefore, it was hard to know with the real name of this location was. Awful fact that the phone numbers on the card did not and could not receive messages or get anything resembling a message to this location for help. I suggest to other users save yourself some headaches and go to a different location or if you need help or questions answered by phone or even if you needed somebody on site during office hours rent from someone else. Maybe with this review the people at this location will become more professional or hire someone who will keep office hours or have a phone and equipment that will work. There were two people or staff that I dealt with both left early and could not be reached.

If you would call on the phone no one would answer. Equipment didn't work in the office. Voicemail is full could not leave a message. It was supposed to be open till 5 PM was not, there at 4:45 PM. However, staff outstanding. Very hard to do business when things don't work cannot get a hold of people and ours are not kept. If I ever need a U-Haul again I will not go to this location. I was supposed to get a rebate of $5.95 return back to me times two. That did not happen.

Over all great experience with the staff. We needed an immediate trailer that we did not plan for and this Uhaul location came through! The staff was uber friendly and 10/10 would recommended! Hopefully this is the last move that WE do, but I'll be sure to recommend this location to all my friends and family! Cheers and keep up the good work!

This rental facility is great. However, uhaul needs to fix some glitch in the system, because I whitness this facility having to add me as a new customer every time I rent. Lately has been quite often.

I called the Uhaul drop off location On Gantzel at 4:40 pm to let them know I'm on my way but nobody answered the phone. I assumed that they close early because it was a Saturday. When I got there, the sign on the door said they closed at five. Apparently they closed early that day. I left the U-Haul with the car dolly attached in Front of the building. . I called Monday to make sure everything was fine with the truck, a gentleman answered the phone and said hello, like it was a personal phone that I called, I had to ask if this was Uhaul that I was in contact with . I asked Mike if everything was good with the truck he said yes. I got an email on Monday saying that everything was fine with the drop off.
