Once I find another truck rental service I will not be going back to uhaul. I will not recommend uhaul to my friends or family and I will tell them about my only two experiences with uhaul to warn them of the complications that come with renting from the company. I did not deal with any staff except over the phone. I will be calling in later today to speak with a representative to remedy some of my issues.ALLISON W.

I am very pleased with my recent UHaul experience. The vehicle was in good working order, the staff at this location was very friendly and accommodating. When I arrived to pick up my trailer, one of the tires was completely bald and two of tires read 2/32nds and the forth tire read 3/32nds. I was told to take it to a tire shop myself to get only two tires put on but when I arrived to the shop they recommend I needed all four just as I thought. The Uhaul location did credit me $35 for my rental but seeing as this was a rotational unit I would have thought they would have caught these unsafe tires long before getting to the point of a complete change. I certainly hope they complete a thorough walk around of all units, especially those that are mechanical, upon return but this trailer seemed to have been missed on many previous returns to allow the tires to get as worn as they did.TIMOTHY PAUL S.

The self check out process was lengthy and not very user friendly. The lock on the back of the truck was difficult to get open, I called the recommended number for assistance, but reached a person in Nova Scotia who was not able to do anything to help. U-Haul should recommend that customers arrive 15 minutes earlier to start the check out process or allow the customer to complete a portion of the check-in process in advance.Christopher H.
I highly recommend the location. People are very friendly and polite. I understand these are working vehicles, but a simple wash wouldn't hurt, especially during COVID-19.ROBERT K.

The van needed cleaning, the floors had a lot of dirt and the passenger seat was covered in crumbs. The online check-in experience was terrible. I had to re-enter information multiple times while I was onsite with the vehicle. Some of the info had already been provided the day before when I reserved the van. Check-in was really frustrating and delayed our plans. Together, the location, the condition of the vehicle, and the online mobile check-in problems means that I will look for alternatives to u-haul next time.Timothy E.

I will never rent from Uhaul again. I feel like I was mislead with information and charged way to much. I was suppose to have the uhaul back for 230pm... and I called to let them know at the Riverside Drive location in Fredericton that I would be bringing it back a couple hours later.... I asked if it would be much of an extra charge and the lady advised me that if I dropped it off after hours...that if I was charged it wouldn't be much but I probably wouldn't be charged for the second day. Why the lady on the phone would advise me this and then charge me for 2 days is crazy. She made me think think I wouldn't be charged and if I brought the truck back a couple hours later that it wouldn't cost me. She did not inform me that the truck was actually rented by someone else for the original time I had to have it back. She did not inform me anything in that matter which I think would have been beneficial because I would have brought it back for the original time. They charged me for the extra fuel and I had brought it back to its original state. To rent that truck cost me over $300 when i thought renting from Uhaul would have saved me money. I feel you guys are misleading and I feel that maybe as an employee with uhaul that they should be more clear on the renting policies to your customers. Thanks for nothing and the over charged price of a uhaul that I should have just rented a truck from Enterprise instead and would have saved a lot money and less of a headache. No I will not refer you and no I will never rent from you againSHELLY DIANE B.
