The code to scan when we returned the truck did not work so we were charged $20 by u-haul. When I called the place we rented from they told me to take it up with U haul. I have been that route before when I was overcharged from a u haul place previously and U haul never responded to my correspondence.Louis S.

The reservation experience really lacked. The original reservation was made for pickup in Moscow, ID but was called less than 24 hours before the pickup time and informed that the equipment wasn't available. The alternate locations offered were hundreds of miles and several hours out of the way. Other than that everything was good.JOHN S.

The business owner required me to disconnect the trailer and park it myself. I didn't. The Everett pick up site told me I would get a refund for the lock and electrical insert for the trailer.. not true. It was not a pleasant experience. I won't go there again.LYNN E.

After a small mix up I thought we were all on the same page but apparently the two workers were not. So our bill went from $150 to $210! This all could have been avoided had both the guys who called me been on the same page about what was going on with our rental, instead I was treated poorly and rushed to unload a 3 bedroom house in just a few hours in fear of extra charges. Definitely will not be renting from this place for future moves!Joseph H.

When reserving a truck the system never recognized the 24/7 service was not available in my area. I scheduled, reserved, used the app and expected to have my reservation ready on the scheduled date. The truck was not ready even after the app TOLD ME where I was to pick up my truck as it was being â€œhand deliveredâ€. I called U-Haul and waited on the phone for 52 minutes before getting help. The person helping me stated even though I have a reservation there's nothing he can do but maybe cancel the order (there wasn't anything â€œclose byâ€ and no U-Hauls are open on the weekends) Because of my lease I HAD to leave my apartment on the scheduled day I gave. U haul said everything was good to go on their app. It wasn't good to go. I had to drive 2 hours (ONE WAY!) to get a truck THEN drive back! (Still have to pay for that extra 4 hours of driving) This isn't even counting the 3 hour drive to my actual destination on top of the mess up. The bottom line I was prepared and u haul wasn't. Costing me time and money. I was extremely disappointed with the service provided. The customer service (52 minutes on hold) to simply ask what's going on is completely unacceptable.Andrew C.

The Maple Street business was closed but the gate was open. Earlier the owner had said just leave the trailer. When we tried to check in through U-Haul, your computers were down. I then talk to two different people who like robots kept saying we'll send you another means of checking in. Nothing worked. She then said I can send you to Cashmere - 15 miles away. Our tail light/brake light / turn indicator we're not working I did not want to go back out on the highway. She said it's going to cost you $20 a day if you don't check in. She said if you leave it and anything happens to it you are responsible. I told her she had some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. I have used U-Haul in the past with no issues but this time makes me wonder if I ever want to use you again or recommend you in the future.Diane C.

I was not happy about having to drive a 129 iles round trip to just get the truck for my move.Especially when I went on line to reserve the truck in the city I lived in a week and a half a head of time. I have been in business for awhile ,I have never seen a company ran like Uhaul .I ordered a 6x12 trailer 2 weeks in advance about a week went buy I thought I had better check ,well they did not have a trailer available so I said can you have one here on Monday ,they said we can't guarantee it will here but it will be in the area .So I called they said we have one in Wenatchee 69 miles away ,but they don't open until 1:00 pm on Monday went there and the agent had 4 trailers setting on the lot .just can't understand how u can run a business this way .BILL W.
The website crashed every time I Tried to turn in my equipment and then when I left the key in the drop box and left a message with the location that I was unable to complete the return process due to the website I was still charged an extra $24 for after hour service. Picking up this vehicle with the app was the most difficult experience I've had. I've never see technology negatively affect a check in/out process like this. It would have taken a human 5mins to just check my ID and give me the keys. I got my vehicle at 1120am with a 1000am check in. That took an hour and 20mins just to pickup a truck.Eric P.
