I was refused drop off at 17790 Great Smoky Mountain Expy, waynesville NC. Said he had too many trailers. The 79 BrannerAve in Waynesville initially refused for the same reason but he took it when I explained I couldn't drive to another city with a u haul. Suggest you realign your inventory at these locationsJason S.

I'm currently on my phone ON HOLD to talk with customer service...I was charged $48.84 for a "wrong drop off". HOWEVER, the original drop off (Rabbit Skin Enterprise) informed me via text message that their lot was full and would not accept drop of the Uhaul trailer. Thus, I had to find and then drive to another Uhaul location for drop off. Now I'm being told by "Grace" at Uhaul that this charge has already been "processed" so it's "too late". What?! A Uhaul location tells me its "full", I have to find another place to drop off, and now Uhaul wants to charge me almost $50 for a "wrong drop". Does this make any sense at all? Unfortunately, this wholly lacks any type of "Customer Service" and is, frankly, illegal. Notwithstanding Uhaul's position as to what the contract "says", its these types of situations that generate lawsuits. Update: Darrell with Customer Service was kind enough to correct this situation, thus avoiding any further bad review.THOMAS R.

Site does not carry any U-Haul supplies like a trailer lock or tie downs. When I returned trailer a day early, agent would not give me credit or send me a receipt. I finally contacted the national u-haul website and received my refund and receipt.GEOFFREY N.

There are only two locations for U-Haul in Waynesville, not much of a choice but in my opinion I would make the location easier to find for people coming with a large truck or trailer. We pulled into the side lot with our huge truck and trailer and couldn't really find the right place to park. Signage would help. However once we did pull in and find the office, we were able to get the help we needed to back the trailer into A parking spot. The employees did assist and we're helpful.MARK K.

It was a holiday weekend and we were traveling through when we began having vehicle problems and needed a uhaul. Aaron was very nice and helpful, but the truck reeked of cigarette smoke, something had spilled on the console and was sticky. The floor board was gross with old food. We were in desperate need and I didn't even look inside because I have trusted uhaul in the past. The truck also only had an 1/8 of a tank of gas. Aaron was up front about that, but it was frustrating.RENEE P.

I made a reservation almost an hour away from my house. I got there and find out they did not have my tow dolly. One of the guys behind the counter had realized the day before that they did not have my tow dolly so he found one in the town that I lived in and change the reservation to be picked up there. NO ONE CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW!!!! Two weeks before this reservation I made another reservation for a tow dolly and went to pick it up and they didn't have it. Logistics and communications suck at U-Haul.MARK Y.

Vehicle interior was dirty and disgusting. There was a used bandaid on the handle, grease or oil in one of the cup holders, another had ashes and a cigarette. Completely filthy.Catina T.

My only frustration is again the whole "online check in" charade. It's supposed to save time at the pickup location but it sure seems that it takes forever to check in/out. Happened in Iowa too when I reserved equipment and checked in online there also. Why do I spend the time to check in online only to have to repeat almost everything onsite??Steven M.

Rented on Saturday at about 4:30 Bringing it back that night or next day Easter Sunday. In the billing explanation no mention was made to the rental tax, a cleaning charge was made after I had blown it out and a after hours fee was tacked on while knowing it was to be brought back that night or next day. Says he will take off the cleaning fee and after hours fees that were no discussed or erroneously added. The gif of the final bill was almost illegible. Much different experiance from Budget 2 weeks ago.JOHN V.

The representative was more than 30 minutes late to work when I picked the truck up. His business was dirty, the truck wasn't ready for me. He didn't provide the amount of blankets I needed but still charged me for 24, only gave me 7. The dolly wasn't in the truck, the truck had not been swept out. I had already checked in online and I had to go into his filthy office anyway which took 30 more minutes. I was there for 1 hour and it should have taken 15 min at most.KELLY R.
