Everything went very smoothly and I really don't know what could be done to improve with the next customer. I was very well satisfied.

Incredibly easy and very clean truck, will use again. Small issue picking up the truck that was handled and corrected within 5 minutes

Laurie YFirst HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will never rent through this location again! I reserved truck with x2 dollys, 2 dozen furniture pads. Once arriving to pick up truck and supplies, I was told they did not have any supplies available. A moving truck with NO SUPPLIES and movers arriving to my home in 20mins! Nobody called to let me know I was not going to have supplies that I RESERVED with my truck!. Then i get the truck home only to find that the back of the truck where ALL of my belongings are supposed to go is FILTHY!! Needless to say this messed up my entire day and scheduled move; and their lack of customer service costed me more money and double the time. I called the location manager (Dwayne) and left couple messages with no call back.

MICHAEL SClean YES, but not well maintained…one tire was very low on air (I filled it twice); initial gas was less then 1/8 tank (be nice if it was half full); AC control knob was broken (stuck on 'high' setting). Otherwise it was clean and easily picked up & dropped off.

I received a receipt later on in the day via email that included questionable charges and a bill that was much higher than anticipated. I thought the rate was $19.95 a day plus mileage as advertised. I was charged that plus an "extended rate" of $89.95 with no further explanation.

DOUGLAS BMy original reservation for a 15ft truck with equipment was being canceled and I made a reservation for the next available which was a 10ft truck. I added the same equipment to my new reservation. Upon arrival, I called the phone number provided under my reservation to ask about the point of contact to pick up my reservation since it was a food mart (not U-Haul) and the representative had a condescending tone/attitude. Entering the store, the cashier was friendly. However, I had to speak to her boss over the store phone to complete my check in for the reservation. While going over the details of the reservation, he told me the person who last had access to the truck did not transfer any of the items I selected on my reservation. The truck was "as is" and there was nothing that could be done other than to "check with ybor" which I could not do as the movers had arrived at my property and they charge by the hour. This inconvenience cost me over an additional $900 with uhaul and the moving company for fees such as "heavy lifting" since there was no equipment to assist with moving furniture and because there was no ramp (had to downsize trucks because of availability within proximity). Not to mention the truck size meant I had to take multiple trips with the movers which added twice as much time, costing me twice as much for loading/unloading and transport. Additionally, the truck's A/C system was only felt around the feet and barely that as it doesn't blow even while on a high setting. We are located in Florida, the Sunshine State, where the sun blazes. Not to mention the constant work and moving around of heavy labor. A working A/C is necessary and was not provided. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had while moving even comparing to when I crossed the country homeless after exiting the Military. This experience with U-Haul and their third party was horrible; having lost my original reservation to no clear fault or reason, to the pick up at a food mart corner store of a new reservation and them not providing equipment or a decent truck, to the lack of very much needed A/C, to the excessive payment I made to the movers for over charges I faced as a result of it all, I am completely dissatisfied with U-Haul. Not to mention that I was charged by U-Haul TWICE. I was NEVER given any indication that I would have two charges. I was given my total when completing my reservation and at pick up (with issues of no equipment on the reservation) and told that was it. There was no mention or indication of additional charges from that. And to be charged for all the miles when I was put in this predicament because of U-Haul, is absurd to say the least. Had I been able to keep my original reservation of the 15ft truck, I would only have taken ONE trip. However, because of the downsize to a 10ft truck, I was forced to take TWO trips which cost not just additional charges with the movers including their hourly charges, but additional mileage on top of that. This is by far the WORST moving experience I have ever had and I have moved over 40 times in my life. To conclude, I have filed a report and am awaiting response from the respective general manager. I hope this additional reporting will cause U-Haul to correct mistakes from the past and do better in the future. However, I do NOT plan to use U-Haul for any of my future moving needs as this experience has caused me my sanity and over $900 extra than I would have originally paid. It should also be noted that this has caused a burdensome circumstance. I am an unemployed Veteran on fixed income. Those additional charges took away the possibility of having groceries in what would be two months now since I lost my groceries to the hurricanes and now have to wait till December for my next fixed income paycheck. I also cannot buy food for my service dog nor can I pay any other outstanding bills/debts which are being sent to collections since I cannot make the payments promised to make this month due to all of my money going into this move. The issues stands with all the additional charges incurred with U-Haul and the moving company resulting from the negligence caused BY U-HAUL! This is unacceptable as now I have no way to take care of other immediate needs. None of this should have ever happened. I hope and pray for Uhaul's sake that this matter be thoroughly rectified or I will be forced to take further action in order for this to be corrected and resolved.
Jennifer RRENT FROM AN ACTUAL UHUAL LOCATION! 1st - The trucks are parked at the building next to a convenience store and yet that's where you pick up the trucks, which is sketchy. 2nd - The store clerk says her first job is to help the paying customers over the UHaul Rental pick-up?? Did I not pay for it?? It would have been fine to have let one customer go before me, but THREE times I was pushed to the side after being their first to collect my reservation. 3rd - she gave me a truck with less than 1/3 of a tank, dirty, and had a broken side mirror. The checkout service was the best part about this experience. NEVER USING THIS LOCATION AGAIN.

Jazmine CThe truck was not clean. The truck windshield wipers came off while I was driving in the pouring rain. When I left the facility it was not raining so I had no need to check them. I had to pull over in the pouring rain to try and put the wipers back in place. Thank God the rain finally stopped and I was able to complete my move. I initially forgot to let them know but I've been calling and there is no answer. Hopefully they get this review so they fix the wipers. It was a safety hazard for me.

Frances SThe 2 middle eastern men that work at that mart are racist. They have a certain opinion of African Americans. I was accused of being too good for them because I have a Mercedes and that "We are all the same". I asked them to explain who is "We" and they told me they had nothing else to say. They were offended that I didn't want any extra services and that I only wanted what I ordered online. They explained they were just verifying what I offered so I asked to just say that instead of phrasing like I wanted an add on. This shouldn't have been a back and forth, it's just communication no big deal. Well when they have a certain opinion of people who look like me communication doesn't matter I guess.

The truck shouldn't be in the road the breaks don't work either , I got charge 190 for straight torcher in a hot dirty under fueld truck with no ac and no breaks and the owner told be to bad.

NORMA GI need a UHaul truck or van 4-6 times a year. My preference is to rent exclusively from Big Mikes Food Mart (39777). The vehicles are clean and always ready when promised.

Michael HI would recommend the location as far as the actual truck rental goes. However, I needed equipment and booked equipment on the website. Upon arrival they did not have it. Would have like to have been told in advance as it cut about an hour into my time to go rent it from Home Depot. I feel I should've been refunded that time.

They tried to scam me into just giving them the key (he took the key and I had to go back in and get) and just giving them my email address and there was nothing else I needed to do. Well I am glad I read the contract because I would have been charged the $20 fee. Also after I completed the return process, I went back inside to return the key and was told that need that they did take it. I asked were do I drop it off, I was told "China"…. Really. He then told me to go find it outside! I was thinking about going on social media to warn people NOT drop it there, this place is bad news! One other thing I wasn't happy about - When I set up the reservation I gave my home address and the final destination. The reservation gave me 86 miles and it ended up being 26 over, and I all I drive was from the pick up point to the starting point to final destination to the drop off point.was kind of surprised to see the excessive charges.

Hannah SWe rented a truck for 6 hours to move within Tampa at Big Mikes Food Mart. The guy behind the counter (Tall, overweight, maybe 350lbs and in his 30s) became agitated when I asked him in the morning when they were closing later that day so I could bring the truck in time before they closed. I did not make much of his rude answer at that time thinking maybe he is having a bad day. When I returned around 5pm, I informed him politely and in what I consider a normal voice that the truck was parked in the correct place, that we returned it with 1/4 tank more fuel than when we borrowed it and that I made sure it was clean. I then had the "audacity" to ask if I could get a receipt showing that the truck was returned on time or if everything was done online. That is when things took a turn for the worst. The guy behind the counter, same as in the morning, started screaming at me so loud that the store came to a complete halt. I stayed calm and turned around wondering if he was yelling at somebody else. I have never seen anything like this from a U-Haul rental location. The guys in Wesley Chapel are completely different than this guy. I think he may be suffering from bipolar disorder or some other kind of mental condition. Be aware that he has a very very short fuse and you are not allowed to ask him any questions. I will never rent a truck from this guy again. He refused to tell me his name when I asked him. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM. Note to U-HAUL management, you need to check on this guy. You have a law suit waiting for you in the near future. He called me names, screamed and even threw the truck keys at me. I prayed for him in the car on the way home.

Maria FMy first reservation was at USA grocer for a 10am pick up; I got there and they told me my reservation was changed to pick up in Ybor for a 3:30 pick up...ridiculous. Quickly went on my phone and the guys at Big Mike's had me in a truck 10 minutes later.

Christopher CCustomer service was terrible, very unorganized. Originally made my reservation for $29 and .99 cents per mile. The guy told me there was a 20 mile minimum so my cost went up & on top of that they charged me this morning $26 for 5 gallons of gas. I traveled a total of 16 miles, the 15' truck gets 10 miles per gallon, so if used less than 2 gallons, why in the world was I charged so much for gas? This place was very unclear & very sketchy about their operations. Would not go back. Went from spending $30-45 to now being charged $90.
