That guy put me out of my way he told me one thing and then do something different. I was poorly treated there. He held on to my deposit and wanted me to pay 5$ extra for mileage. I have to call so many numbers to complain before I got back my deposit. If I have to move something again that require a truck it won't be from u-haul. I asked for a truck in London I got the address location then I was surprised to be told I have to pick up my truck from Chatham then ending up paying for mileage.aletha H.

We were grossly overcharged on the mileage by approximately 40 km. We used approximately 80 kilometres and were charged for 120 kilometres according to our gps. We believe that this privately owned location has tampered with the odometer because we followed the gps and arrived at the correct location which showed the amount of mileage to be 40 Kms less than what the vehicle did. This was a very awful experience. When I called to book a vehicle the pickup location and equipment availability kept changing, and I ended up having to pick up in the opposite direction I was moving. Getting the vehicle was very slow with the convenience clerk, and communication was difficult. I was also never told by the Uhaul representative that I had to pay for gas on top of the rental fee, I wasn't told by the store clerk either. I'm extremely angry and no one has tried to compensate me for this runaround or even apologize.paige T.
I well deal with a u-haul centre . Rather then the variety store owner s . Not worth the time waiting between customers in the store and renting a truck with a stone chip in windshield Even after going through your office to rent it .Dan D.
Please inspect the truck before renting out. Personnel did not know how to rent truck and had to call manager to guide them through the process. This took an unnecessarily long time to complete. The truck's driver's side door did not close fully. Wipers were damaged causing horrible squeak sound during rain. The gas tank had some kind of blockage which would not let it fill all the way, had to stop every 150 miles to refill minimal amount, and caused gas to sputter back constantly. The gas tank issue and constant stopping to refill resulted in an extra day of driving and a hotel stay.Carl S.
