I filled the tank with more gas than when I received the van and yet you still charged me for gas. I complained and have yet to hear back from U-Haul.RIC C.

It took nearly 1 hour to collect the vehicle. The vehicle was absolutely filthy inside. After 1 hour the transmission overheated (as there was insufficient and dirty fluid). It took another hour to obtain a new vehicle. It took nearly another hour to return the vehicle as the system was down and in the clerks own words â€œNot his problemâ€. All in all a pretty awful experience border-lining on dangerous. I will not be recommending Uhaul or using Uhaul again.Douglas R.

Answer the phone. I called about 7 times within an afternoon and could not get a hold of anyone. No answering machine or anything for messages. Also, my pickup location was changed. I booked a truck a month in advance and only got 24 hours notice of the change. Would have been nice to get more notice.Timothy H.

Young man at big bear was great. Very helpful. Your website however was not good. I changed my password. Then when pickup it was not activated The poor clerk kept getting kicked out too. It was frustratingANDREWTHOMAS M.
Waited 50 minutes to get into the truck using the website. The website crashed 3 times, and I had to start over, each time dealing with a new chat representative. I ordered 1/2 dozen moving mats that weren't in the truck, and I was still charged for them upon closing out the sale. An area had to go in and manually remove for me. I will never pick up a truck from a non-u-Haul location again.Romeo C.

I was told I would get the final receipt and charges via e-mail. It was going to be lower than the original estimate. Instead I never received the final receipt and my credit card was charged for the higher estimated amount. I don't have time to waste trying to get $6 back but you should make sure you are charging customers properly.Denis S.

I'm a little irritated. I asked for a truck at a specific location in Hamilton. They called me and said the truck wasn't available at that location and I would have to get it from Brantford. I couldn't get to Brantford so they arranged for a pick up in Ancaster with the next size up truck. The night before my truck pick up I get a call, telling me I've been moved to another location. This time in Hamilton - while closer to my original preferred location (where I have a storage unit), it was still an inconvenience. Then when I get to the other Uhaul location, they had about 15 trucks available on the lot. They literally make you jump through hoops. And on top of that, I had asked for the 10' truck but they didn't "have it" at any close location, so the woman on the phone said I would be upgraded to the 15' truck. Expecting to still be charged for the 10' truck, because it is not my fault they screwed this all up, I was charged for the 15' Truck! I honestly wouldn't recommend UHAUL as a company to my friends. I had difficult time to rent it and the system wasn't working and frozen and it's taken more than 7 days to allow me to find truk The agent came to help me after 15 minutes it's kind of him But I lost my time and that cost me 600$, added i didn't find open store in Toronto that made me returned to Hamilton too much because at the end of the night I went back to Toronto again by Uber because my car not with me and it was midnight. Please make it clear on the contract that this dropoff location has no staff to take delivery of the truck and you have to do it online. I waited for an endless amount of time for someone to show up and tried calling the number on the contract and the customer service line, only to realize then that I could've done it all online.Hadi J.

Truck was dirty inside driver and passenger sides. Wasted to much time for pickup and dropped, all work has to do customer by himself. I reserved for 4:15pm on July 2 and picked up at 5:00pm on July 2, wasted 45 minutes for pickup that's make me upset. Called to Big Bee location several times but no one Answered call. I m wondering if they don't answered customer call then why they run this business. Called to customer support And guy said, he is from technical departments and doesn't know about process of pickup. I filled gas 1/8 extra as tank was not full when I picked up. It's so hard to keep gas same if it's it full. I have to call for credit of my extra vast.ritesh P.

The mileage of the vehicle didn't match the one on the online check-in site, and it wouldn't let me change it to what it was. The vehicle also did not include the two dollies I was charged for.Andres O.

The truck I signed up for wasn't at the location. It took 45 minutes of phone calls to straighten things out. The clerk at the convenience store had to take my phone from me to talk to the Uhaul agent. It took two calls and a transfer to a manager to sort out. Not a good experience at all.
