I set on the U-Haul website to pick on the counter but when I arrived there the truck's key was in the code box. So I needed to call the service twice, download the app, and set everything up again. It took over 20 min. Also, the AC was not working well although the truck was pretty new.Ricardo M.

when we return the vehicle, it would be helpful to have a process or interaction with either online or a person. In order to register, there is a multistep process (well organized and easy) to get our information and such but when I returned the vehicle there was no assurance that this had been processed, just a silent man holding his hand out for the key. I kept asking if this was for UHaul and he nodded. It was the right location so I hoped for the best. If there was even a small write up indicating that this was the process, it might not have felt necessary to call your number.Monica K.

The vehicle a/c did not function on a 30 degree day. When I returned the vehicle TD he attendant told me to see the other man who was interested in a personal conversation with a woman, after which, he left the store and went outside to talk on his cell phone. I had to follow him and interrupt him to get attention. Also , the price was 2 times what was expected. We did, however, get the move completed.Aaron L.

A/C did not work. I was charged a $24 fuel refilling charge even though I added fuel past the fuel level when I picked it up. I called to explain my issue and my call was terminated. Not sure why. I have since called only to have to wait 50-60 minutes. Not good customer service.Paul C.

The app did not work, and then when we called Uhaul, we were disconnected and had to start over. Once we finally had the keys from the lockbox, they were not for the correct vehicle and we could not get ahold of anyone to get the correct vehicle keys as they are all in separate lockboxes. After an hour of trying to contact someone for the right keys, we were able to flag someone down from the location. Overall it was a horrible pick up experience and I will not pick up from this location again. We wasted over an hour of valuable moving time.David T.

The van was a mess. The cargo bay was covered In mud and dirt. Looked like the van wasnt cleaned for a month or better. The driver cab was covered in Pet hair which has me reacting today. I am very itchy and lethargic feeling . Please clean between usage. Also, no customer service on pick up. The convenience store attendant was on the phone and tried to signal with his hands what to do. He should have served the customer and put the phone down.David K.

The location was great and the staff were excellent. The vehicle had a non functioning right rear signal light, almost empty engine coolant and these things combined cost me my drivers certification on examination as it was an F class that required me to do an exterior inspection noting minor and major faults. I also drove for 2 days on a highway without working hazard lights or signal, which is extremely dangerous. I found out the light wasn't working when I did my own inspection for my exam. Also the blind spot mirror on the passenger side door is cracked. I have already requested for a refund, Thank you, HollyHOLLY LOUISE K.

Idk how a 1 way rental for 2 days was only $55 yet a 1 day rental from this location cost me $250.00! It was 111km x 89 cents/km. Suggestions from them to save me $ would've been most appreciated.Laurie B.

I couldn't see the odometer as a â€œcheck tire gaugeâ€ and â€œchange oil soonâ€ warning was continuously on. Additionally, I have now received two different receipts, one which has charged me a $50 cleaning fee - which is ridiculous as the van transported, literally, 100 sq ft of fully wrapped flooring. There was literally nothing to clean. I would like this looked into and the charge reversed immediately.TODD H.

**The associate at the Big Bear Food Mart did not come out to do a check with me before giving us the keys to drive away.** The vehicle was not clean - there were used tissues in the door, and especially during covid this made us uncomfortable. Shortly after getting in the vehicle the Change Oil warning as well as the Monitor Tire warnings came on. While on the road we experienced some strange noises and poor brake quality. After pulling over and inspecting the vehicle, we noticed that there was a fluid leaking (seen in attached photos- along with suspected areas that it was leaking from). We stopped driving for 30 minutes to see if cooling the vehicle down would help, which it seemed to, for a while. Overall, we are pretty displeased with the quality of this rental and the experience. I will likely never use Uhaul Neighbourhood Dealers all together, because ultimately the vehicle was clearly neglected and seemed unsafe to be driving.BAILEY W.
The truck was not super clean inside, the light for the tires was ON. Please note that I rented 3 weeks ago the same truck and the light for the tires pressure was already ON. I do not believe it is well maintained. Though service provided is ok and location is close to where I live so it is convenient. But not as good as the location on Wellington.fabien S.

I signed up for 24/7 pick up and when I log in to my account it was telling me to wait until the store was open. I had to call the customer support and they resetted it. When I got to the lockbox part, the key was not in the lockbox. I wasted 1.5h just to get the truck and they were only able to extend the return for another 30mins. The person at the time of drop off is kind of rude. He doesn't know anything and is not helping at all. Plus the truck was not equipped with the dolly we requested and had to hold the furniture by hand. They then charged us with the Dolly amount and also added an additional day to our billling. I pre booked but when I showed up they were very surprised I was there. They made me pay $100 and then said to come back the next day to get my money back but instead charged me another $15 the next day. They lied about the gas and said there was half a tank but there was a quarter tank (I took a picture of this). Now I've received an invoice and it says they own me $25 in returns but they should also be paying me $15 back so this will be very annoying to go deal with. The guy said that there was a mistake in the mileage. He said that the KM OUT was really 28612 instead of 28583 which is what it says on my contract. The odometer correctly said 28612. The guy wrote 28612 on my contract in pen, and said the problem had been fixed. But now I'm being billed for extra KM driven that I DID NOT DRVIVE. So I'm being overcharged $17.11, and I DO NOT HAVE TIME to go back to the store and argue with the guy. Also, he said that I would get a certain number of KM free, so he outright lied because I can see I'm being charged 0.59 for every KM driven. Also I asked what the insurance deductible was and the guy just shrugged.So I am pissed off. I want my $17.11 refunded to me. Please respondSANDOR A.

I was charged for moving blankets and the blanket bag in the truck was empty. When asked about this upon return of truck I was told by the location they couldn't help me because the shift of the man who rented the van out was over. Although the van was clean there was no mention about sanitizing the keys or steering wheel. That is a gap at this time with the pandemic. No-one checked the detail of gas level before the journey but instead did this at the return, I was told it was full and that seemed the case by the fuel gauge. No question answered about miles/litre. I drove 8 kms with a light load and had to put in 8 litres of gas based on a specially detailed fuel check (electronic device which was not used before taking the van. This seems overstated and unreasonable. I am very disappointed with this site and will not use that one again.SULEIMAN W.

Despite UHAUL's alleged Covid protocols 2 employees (or owners) were not wearing masks inside the store. Their lack of regard for the health of their customers was infuriating. Also, I was asked for my drivers license and I advised that I had provided it online the previous day. It then took him 5 minutes to callup the required information as I was standing there surrounded by employees with NO masks! This was shocking and extremely disturbing.Fletcher C.
