Sun visor broken. The rubber seal around the driver's door fell off in my lap while I was driving. Staff did not seem concerned about anything I was saying. Staff's customer service skills extremely lacking. I spoke in a kind and gentle manner. Staff not friendly at all. I will NOT choose this UHAUL location again.
Gladys SVery friendly and helpful. I appreciated the communication as the uhaul system wasn't working the best at that time and they worked to have an upper management person take care of my needs. I would recommend this business as well.

Edward LVery untrained people. Had difficulty with the computer program, both picking up and dropping off. The Uhaul part was fine, the outlet part was bad. I would have much preferred to rent from our local Avon dealer. Unfortunately they didn't have a unit available.

Ray DThe ABS light kept going on and off while driving. Also the starter is going out and needs to be replaced on the truck. The starter would turn but it wasn't engaging the bendix to turn the motor over. It took 3 attempts to get it started at one point during my rental.
Christopher LThis truck needs to be serviced. It feel like the gear shift doesn't shift into drive or park very well. It feels loose.
donald sUhaul changed my pick-up location and did not inform me. I called the day before my reservation to the location i had booked and they had no idea i was coming for a 15'truck. Uhaul 'traffic' sent me to another location (close by) and they knew i were aware of my reservation 3 days prior.

Bruce JA little disorganized but friendly enough. I was upset that I did not get my utility dolly though. I was already gone by the time I realized it wasn't on the truck. I looked at the receipt in case I had forgotten to order it, but it showed that I did indeed order one and I paid for it. Called the place to ask and they said they don't have a dolly. He said he would credit my card. I said you should have told me when I was there. They never gave me my $12 back as of today and it has been almost 2 weeks so I'll have to take time from my busy day to call again. Small thing I know but that's what these surveys are for right? To make businesses better? And also why I still gave 4 stars. But I would have given 5 stars had I received my refund.
John MAgain, changing my drop off point at the last minute in order to charge me for extra miles. The the $19.95 advertised rental is a scam. I paid near $150 for the rental.
Mike BDid not have the hand truck that was ordered. Seemed to have a lot of difficulty with the electronics involved in securing a contract and settling the final bill Pleasant group to deal with.
Gary MHad an issue with the printer so we had to settle for emailed receipts and we were picking up at a busy time but over all it was a good experience.
Jim KWe bought a couch on Facebook marketplace in Avon lake ohio, the closest location was Avon bi-rite. So we went there and inquired about the uhaul truck. We explained to the staff that we lived in amherst and would like a one way truck so we could drop it off at a closer location. She said that we were all set to drop off at cooper deli in Lorain. Well long story short we went to cooper deli and she totally did not set it up right so we had to go all the way back out there to drop it off in Avon. When we were setting it all up she was very very rude and told us "next time set it up online so I don't have to put all of your info in." The lady was very very disrespectful and did not appear too happy with our business. I know she's not your employee but maybe you can pass it along. She was just not nice at all. And set it all all wrong. It was very inconvenient for us. Also we wanted the bigger truck but she said that it wasn't a one way so we could do it so we opted for the smaller one and was still set up wrong and wasn't a one way. Just frustrating.

Emily GWebsite let me schedule a rental of a 26' truck near my storage. After that I set it all up with help and other logistics. I then received a call from Uhaul saying they had no availability Uhaul at that location. She then sent me 10 miles out of my way to pick up a 15' truck. I was not compensated for all the extra miles. Was next to other location where there was many trucks sitting there all day. Not a good experience for me!!
JOHN CNot charge people for a furniture dolly when the location did not have one available. They were supposed to remove it, but were so incompetent they could not manage. This was also a grocery store, and I was told that if someone needed to be rang up, they would have to stop my process to handle their customers, which did happen. This location was filthy, and the workers had no idea what they were doing. I handled my Uhaul pick up through my phone, and only needed them to give me the keys, they would not listen. Drop off was just as bad, the women would not allow me to get pictures to post the gas and mileage in order to provide via the Uhaul website. I asked many times and then blatantly had to tell her to move so I could finish the process. I have used Uhaul many times having been in the military, and this was by far my worst experience!!
Ashley EThe app experience is terrible. I could not complete the return process as the app would not upload\accept the photo of the dashboard with miles and gas. Followed the recommendations, my photo looked just like the one in the example, it was clear, yet the app did not accept it. No way around it. Needed help from Bi Rite Express personnel to complete return.
Mark APick up went easy but when I went to return the truck I couldn't attach the pictured like it wanted so I spent more time at location than I needed
Anthony GScheduled for a 8 a.m truck pick up, we arrived @ 7:45. Previous client did not return till 8:45 a.m. Previous client left back of UHaul full of garbage , that we had to clean up
CARL WHad to wait because the person that waited on us had to run the register at the store. She was stressed. She did not know how to do the order on the computer. Someone (that took forever) had to help her. Our blankets we ordered were not in the truck so we asked. She said she had no clue. I would like a $10.00 refund on the blankets.

BRADLEY HThe truck drives unstable, it needs an alignment and more than likely tie rods. It drove horrible and did not want to shift. When we returned it the clerk said that truck needed to go in for service anyway. So glad they rented a truck knowing but was in need of repair to me. I would not rent here again .
CHRISTINA SVerification process was too long, workers at the store were clueless. Verification should of been done before I physically went to the location and spent 30 minutes trying to get my truck I already paid for. Headache of a process, won't be using again.

SANDY RWe didn't like the fact that we were told we had to bring the van back because "THEY " had it rented the next morning to someone. Should have been able to leave it 1.5 miles from our destination. That cost an additional $23 + gas. + our time. Not a fan of that Hook!
KENNETH KDuring this time of Covid - the employees were not wearing masks. I will not trust this site for future rentals during the pandemic. The rental process and vehicle were ok.

MARK MThe truck was not maintained or clean. There was a lot of free play in the steering wheel. The cab smelled of cigarettes and had ashes and cigarette butts in it. The back off the truck had food waste and a very strong odors. The smells were incredibly strong. The condition this truck was in, made it not possible to complete my move. I moved what I was comfortable placing in the vehicle. We were forced to complete the rest of the move using our vehicles.

John SThis location was recommended after scheduled truck on Colorado. Mattress 4 U broke down about a mile up the road. Luckily we were able to get it started and nursed it back to Lorain location. Then we had to pick up another truck at a location that was even farther away from our loading location in Vermilion. So had to pay for all these extra miles when it wasn't my fault. I am a regular customer at uhaul but was not a happy camper that day!
JACOB FTruck cabin clearly had not been or disinfected in any way. I have pictures to show that. Back of the van had garbage in it. Have pictures also. Had to spend 30 minutes cleaning before we could use it. I should get a refund in my opinion. I addressed with the store and she said " i am not surprised, i havent worked in a couple days and the others dont clean the trucks ". Had i not needed the van at that time and it was the only available i would have cancelled

richard bThe gentleman that runs this location was polite and fast in checking me out. That said, he needs to be there when the facility says it's open for rentals and returns.

annmarie nThey only had one woman working- she couldn't find the reservation and she took several customers when I had been waiting a while. She told me to wait while she checked other people out at the regular register. I did not receive a return ticket. She confirmed several times it was electronic. I asked her if I could have a paper one and she said no- she doesn't even know how to do it.
