I went to a specific U-Haul location because of their large inventory. I reserved a tow dolly a WEEK in advance. Two days before I was to pick it up I was informed I had to go to another location- a location at least 12 miles out of my way, through city traffic. I called the main U-Haul number and was informed that the original location would have my tow dolly. It did not. I still had to go the 12 miles out of my way to pick up the dolly and the place was closed. I was on a strict timeline and took the dolly anyway. I then called the 800-number to let them know and work out payment. The lady on the phone (Carolyn, I think) was amazing and very helpful. The place had 2 dollies and apparently I took the one that NEEDED to be returned to them. Instead of being able to drop off the dolly at a distant location, I had to tow it all the way back to Tennessee and return it. VERY inconvenient. The entire experience was subpar. I will be using Ryder or Penske next time.

Location and customer service was fantastic. However, the unit had wither some type of roof leak or the gaskets around the door were worn. The back half of the trailer leaked

The 6X12 trailers have a very heavy tongue weight. Locations should have a lift device that helps one person to be able to lift and locate onto the ball of the hitch.

Nothing. The rep at Beyond Vintage ( Alex ) was the most friendly and helpful person that I have ever dealt with when renting from U-Haul. She was very concerned that everything went well when I came to pick up the trailer. Truly a great asset for U-Haul !
