Make the internal communications MUCH better for the pickup process. PLUS not make customers drive close to an hour to pickup. There was confusion in picking up and it took WAY to long to pick up a trailer,ERNESTOD Z.

Betel was ok, but we had booked a truck to pickup in Poughkeepsie (some 75 miles away) but Uhaul had no trucks in Poughkeepsie. It was very inconvenient going to Bethel and back. At least Uhaul honored its "guaranteed pickup" and refunded $50--insufficient for the time/gas we expended. Next time, make sure there's a truck when/where promised!Brian L.

The truck had no radio I drove across country with no radioSCOTTM M.
When we weren't able to access the lock box, we went to the office for help. The staff member was out running errands, said the sign, so we called. No answer. Called again. Turns out, she was in her car at the back of the property seemingly hiding from us (she had pulled in and saw us and drove to the back to hide - she even drove around again and drove back to hide). My husband, wondering if that was the staff member walked back to ask her and she moved away from him. He finally got her to pull around and help us. This was over a 30-minute time. It was so horrible. Moving is stressful and to have someone treat you like that was shockingly unprofessional and just really sad.Edward R.

Your website is deplorable. As noted while speaking with your representative the following happened to me: - On the day of pick up, the web site logged me out and refused to recognize my password so that I could log back in. - Making multiple attempts to reset the password, your website never sent the code necessary to do so, to either my email or cell phone. - As such, I lost a half hour waiting for staff to arrive as I could not check out the truck as originally scheduled. - (Not web site related, but the dolly I'd rented was not at the ready for pick up, and I had to manually obtain it from the office and load it myself resulting in more wasted time and effort.) - Afterwards, when attempting to return the truck, your website refused to recognize my location (blaming my device for the error), even after multiple attempts to provide it. Your representative had to call me to confirm its return. - To date, I still cannot log into my account to obtain a copy of my final bill. Please email a copy of same to my address on file. - In speaking to your representative, they assured me that the $20.00 "convenience" fee would be waived due to my terrible experience with your website. - I hope that when you email me the bill, I'll find that they carried through with this promise. Please also feel free to contact me via this same email address should you have follow-up questions and/or refunds applicable based upon my poor experience with your site. Thank you.TROYPATRICK S.

Due to COVID, the owner would not.let us inland wanted to complete the transaction from the phone? Even though we were at her door with masks. Eventually, they allowed my husband to use the bathroom so he finalized the transaction inside. All paperwork was already completed online including payment.Keith R.

Retrieving the truck was for IT reasons something of a nightmare. I had been receiving emails all day long from Uhaul asking me to verify my account, which I did, multiple times. When it came time to do the pickup, these problems continued. Had it not been for the sudden appearance of someone in the store (this was after hours), we would have had to abandon the attempts to actually drive away in the truck. The truck itself was a dream and if you can solve your IT problems, it will be perfect!!! Thank you.James L.

Your 24/7 is terrible! This is the second time that I have pre-scheduled a carefully timed pick (with four hourly paid assistants). only to have the app and Uhaul casually change the pick up location to a location far away causing me to pay extra for gas, labor and losing hours on the project as well as additional charged mileage. I will NEVER pick up a Uhaul vehicle using the 24/7 app. Never! I either pick it up from a human or I will use another rental company. The return process using this app is just as odious. Uhaul makes the renter do a long list of tasks that were once done by the Uhaul paid staff. Now they make the renter do it AND Uhaul charges the renter an additional 20$ if you don't do it. The nerve! Do it your self and stop putting your clients to work!john K.

It was a Sunday when I picked up the vehicle and I was a little confused as to how to get the key. I did not realize that I had to log on to UHaul beforehand in order to let them know I was there? It was not clear to me and I would have liked some written instructions from UHaul to guide me. Also, same with the return as I returned it on the same day and there was no attendant. Written instructions would have been helpful. Otherwise, all was fine.Roberta O.

The Bethel location was great; however, it was no the location I requested to pick up the trailer from. It was MUCH farther away and very inconvenient. All of the staff at the location were amenable; however all of the U Haul representatives I talked to over the phone were super unhelpful. I paid . lot for the trailer, reserved it well in advance and still do not know why I was not able to get it at the preferred location. I will not be using Uhaul again.Scott H.

Last minute notification about changed pick up location (additional 30 minutes drive from location I requested). I needed trailer at 8 am but new location is open at 9 am. Electric wires were to short and I couldn't connect to ma van (in U-haul location I couldn't get any extension or adapter) so I had to drive without lights to to car store to buy light extension/adapter wires which took additional hour. So I was late around 3 hours because of below average service.Mariusz Z.

The company is a mess. I would not recommend using uhaul because of how unorganized everything is. However, the location where I went the staff was very nice.Vivian A.
