He didn't inform me of the change - my original reservation was to return it to another location. He made it to return to him and didn't tell me I basically have no mileage. I was charged 155 and then an additional 132 because of him. I will never use uhaul again.Tiffany L.

I was told by a representative that I had 24 hrs to drop off the uhaul truck without being charged extra however I was charged a $20 after service fee. I also filled up the gas tank and made sure it was fu before returning but was charged a fuel fee of $12. This could have been better explained. I will not be renting againAline G.

I would appreciate uhaul not changing my pickup location the morning of my registration. I had to drive out of my way to go to a different location. I would also like it if the mirrors were more easily adjustable as that was a concern while driving. The operator at the location was difficult to reach to process my rental. He was not on site, had to call him to complete the rental. Did not process my return until the day after the equipment was returned. Kept the equipment in a muddled area and I, the customer, had to completely hookup myself.Andrew A.

Stood there for about 5 minutes before he decided to tell me he'll process my return in about 10 minutes and I would get a email. But never got any notification until the next day around 4:30 after I called customer service early the following day.KEVIN W.

This was an after hour /weekend rental so location was closed. The issue we had was with Uhaul App/website. It took us 1 hr to pick up the truck via phone and another 1 hr to return the truck. I will definitely pick a different company next time. To top our experience, someone took our truck and ended up with a smaller truck for the price of the bigger version.Chris B.

I had a very negative experience with this location. My recommendation is to avoid it because the owner doesn't care about customers and not paying attention to details. This is a small u-haul location with a limited number of trucks and utilities. The owner of this place, Frank, was very friendly when I was booking the truck to go one way from Duluth to Atlanta. I asked if he can have a furniture dolly ready for me when I am going to come to pick up the truck, and I explained to him that this is very important for me, and I can't move if I don't have the dolly. Frank said not to worry and he can get it for me, no problem. When I came to pick up the truck, the dolly wasn't there! Frank said I can get it down at the other big u-haul location which was a good 15 mins away from where I was picking up the truck. I had no choice but to go to that location because I needed the dolly. When I arrived, there was no dolly either because everything was rented out! I had to spend good 30 minutes trying to convince the lady to rent me the only dolly left for sale with a condition to bring it back to this location. I had to agree because I had no choice. In addition to issues with a dolly, u-hail had issues with the system that day. Nobody could insert customer information into the system. Frank spent an hour trying to put my info into the system and to give me the truck. Instead of writing my info down and dealing with technical issues later, he kept me in the office waiting. Later that day when I was dealing with moving, he called me two times because he forgot my credit card. Frank said that he will give me a discount for my troubles but, in the end, he charged me a regular price. Finally, when the system went back up, three days later he started a brand new order and inserted my information without informing me or the place where I was going that he is doing it. This created an issue at the destination location and they charged me a late fee of $170 because they had no idea that this transaction was for the previous date. So I had to call Frank which very coldly told me that it is my responsibility to call customer service and start a dispute with the destination location. All of it could have been easily avoided if Frank did what he was supposed to do and actually cared about the customer and was trying to help instead of finding somebody else to blame. My advice: avoid this location and save yourself from unnecessary problems.arcadiy M.

Instructions on picking up and dropping off were not clear and the online services said I was already completed when in actually I wasn't. Picking up only reason we knew what to do was because someone else was there picking up their truck and they had found out and told us. When dropping off there was no place to say it was returned other than putting keys in a drop box. I got an email that told me drop off wasn't completed.Jon K.

I signed up for a dolly and furniture pads, but when I got there they said they don't carry either of those things. I was also told I could pick the truck up at 9 but no one was there until 10. And the truck's loading gate didn't work properly.Cheryl V.

I would rather not go into detail but from beginning to end the entire experience was a nightmare from you know where. It was the worst. Talking about haggling. This place it's the worse. Trying to hide fees lying about milage. The gas on the truck. Not having enough experience with the system. The price from the Internet was totally different and once I got in the store it was almost double. They didn't have the equipment I needed. It was just I only sign you in mentality. I asked several times to remove the insurance. He did not. I mean if this is how he contracts with u haul imagine how they sale cars. I never been so disgusted by trying to be prayed on. I really wanted to go to another location. Unfortunately it was already so late in the day they were 7 minutes away. I should have read all the reviews first. I believe every single one. This place is horrible and ruining u haul reputable name. I will never do business with this location again.Andrea R.

Self check in was a little uncomfortable, especially when I had been told over the phone that there would be a representative on site when I picked up the truck. I had to put my own dolly in the truck from the many that were left unattended outside. Also, I had to use a utility dolly instead of the furniture dolly I had requested in my reservation. My furniture pads were already in the truck; however, there were only 11 instead of the 12 I had reserved.James I.
I don't believe this location is set up for online delivery. They left the keys to they vehicle on one of the tires. Additionally, the order was changed to hand pick up the night before my pick up with no notice. When I called your customer service I got several answers about this that were conflicting. I was simply luck that i found the keys and called the pick up location later so they knew I had the truck and could check it out.William B.
I had picked up my truck from 3425 Buford Hwy Duluth, GA 30096, using U-Hauls phone pick up service. About an hour later a man from that location calls me and starts accusing me of stealing his truck and that it was meant for another customer. I tried to explain to him that I had reserved this truck 10 days prior. Being that it was the only truck there at the time I was confident I did not take the wrong truck. He then started to curse at me and call me all sorts of names. I kept my cool and hung up. I then took my reservation confirmation and texted to the number he had called my from in hopes to prove to him that I did not steal his truck. I called back right after I texted him and he continued to not only threaten to hurt me this time but curse at me! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR BY A U-HAUL REP! I immediately called U-Haul to report this person and to make sure I didn't do anything wrong. They allowed me to drop off at another location at least. I was also told that a regional manager would contact me regarding the issue. ITS BEEN 3 WEEKS AND NO CALL! U-HAUL SEEMS TO GIVE 2 CRAPS!! I've been in retail and dealt with all types of crazy people, however the man who runs that pick up location is a danger to society and the U-Haul brand! I PROMISE I WILL MAKE SURE I TALK TO ANYONE I PERSONALLY KNOW ABOUT MY UHUAL EXPERIENCE!Anthony C.

The person Frank was rude every time I called to ensure the UHaul was checked in. Frank hung up the phone on me and I had to call Kenya back to get the UHaul checked in well after 1pm on 3/25/2019. I will not use UHaul ever again because this has been my worst experience ever.Donna L.

Dropped off trailer after hours. I then received a call from the owner saying they do not accept trailers and that I had to pick it back up. That was not acceptable so I called the 1-800 uhaul number and they said that a manager would transfer the trailer for me. Then I saw that I was charged with a $50 fee for dropping off at the wrong location! Really disappointed.ADAM T.

Frank was very helpful. However, when I ordered online I did not include insurance. The paperwork I signed (but didn't read carefully) included insurance I didn't need. Never had that problem before.
