The check-in process took over 30 minutes, which ate into our rental time and time frame for moving. During the process of completing the online check-in, my alternate contact did not answer the first phone call, so when trying to add her again so she could accept the phone call, I was unable to use her as a contact because "contact was already used on the application". I had to call customer service to have them help me, then finally when I was able to get the code for the lock box to get the keys, my phone glitched and after refreshing the screen I was sent to the page to return the truck. So once again I had to call customer service to get help with getting the code. The employee at the location would not/"could not" help with any of the check-in process nor give us any information because "he didn't make anything off that truck" because we reserved the truck online. Not to mention all the pictures you have to take for the check-in and return. This was by far the WORST and most frustrating experience I have ever had with renting anything and I will NEVER rent a truck through UHaul online again. And another thing, if you're going to have truck rentals at a location, give the employees a cut of the money with a little knowledge on how to assist customers with the process!! The online process might be easier for you guys but it is frustrating and a huge inconvenience for the customer.Vanessa H.

Attendant wrote wrong starting mileage on contract, was off by 300 miles, when we turned truck in they were going to charge us for the 300 miles but we had taken a picture of the dash showing the correct mileage. windshield wipers must have been the original ones chattered and squeaked the whole 500 miles of tripRILEY B.

My only complaint is that I asked the person renting to me whether or not a refrigerator would fit in a 10 ft truck...obviously standing upright. He said yes if it was tipped to get it in. I drove 25 miles in rain to Best Buy to pick up a new refrigerator. It only fit laying down...which is not recommended. When I returned the truck I mentioned the refrigerator did not fit and his response was..."must have been a big refrigerator". No, it was standard.DEBRA M.

Mike, the manager was extremely helpful as always. This is my go to place for a Uhaul . The last time I used another location (the south Chico place) they gave me a dirty, not sanitized truck. I have rented from him before and he is always extremely professional and courteous, helpful with any problems. I highly recommend this location and the manager.PAUL S.
Prior to going to that location I checked what their hours of operations were but when I got there the office was closed and no one was there to talk to.Dawn D.
If the truck being requested is not available it should not be allowed to reserve on the website. I reserved the truck then was called 48 hours before my move to a different state to be advised that the truck I reser ed was not available. When I did get a truck it blew a tire on Highway 99 in Kingsburg, CA because a stabilizer bar was rubbing on the tire. Then the truck had transmission issues by trying to downshift on a grade and getting stuck in neutral. And the truck also overheated. We have requested a full refund and expect nothing less for the hell that Uhaul put us through on our move.Richard M.

The Online process to get a Truck is a great Idea. We did it and it worked for us. We Rented a second truck the next day and when my Wife Dropped off the truck she was Grilled about the Condition of the first truck! We submitted Pictures of which the Person behind the Counter said He has No Way Of Seeing ! Not my Problem. The Pictures showed damage that had been Partly repaired when we took possession for 24 hrs. We took many Pictures and the App accepted them. The Truck was Dirty and had a Dent on the front. In the picture that the App asked if we agreed too it showed a Smashed in Light and surrounding trim and the front left driver side was Dented in. We did not agree and took and Submitted Pictures that Clearly show a Attempt had been made to repair or replace the Damages.The Second truck had Mud all up the sides and the Windshield was Filthy. This Person behind the Counter is Not looking at the Trucks or he would know the Condition they are in. Anyone in charge of a Truck Rental should have a Better grasp on the Condition of the Product being Rented. The pictures will keep people from being Wrongly Accused by Incompetent Staff but I will think twice before going to Uhaul after my Wife being Treated like this. Also why are the Tanks not full ? Someone not filling them ?Stephen E.

The windshield wipers were super old and broken. Also there was damage that wasn't marked with stickers so having that done prior would be great but other than that it was a wonderful experience.Matt H.

I reserved the truck for 1 day and I picked it up at noon on Saturday. When I asked if 530pm would be too late to return the truck I was informed that the end of business was at 2pm on that day. The guy then told me I would be better off to keep it and return it on Sunday. I then asked if I kept it would I be charged the 19.95 for the next day. He told me no, that I would only be charged the $19.95 for that day and then I would just be charged the $0.79 for each mile I put on the truck. He lied, I was charged the $19.95 for each day plus the $0.79 per mile. I returned the truck by 9am, but he had a sign on the door saying he would be back later. When I got to where I had service I called the 1800 number and was told they would put it that I returned the truck by 9am. I was charged another day. I also returned the truck with 1/4 tank of gas, like I was given, and was charged $9 for gas. I was also charged $40 for coverage when I said I didn't want coverage. I would tell everyone to not go to Best Self Storage in Oroville, California for a uhaul.Carey P.

They did not tell us they would be closed on Sunday, even though we told them we would return the covered trailer on Sunday. So we left it parked out front, When we called their phone number they gave an option to leave a message and then when you picked option 3 to leave a message, the call was ended.Jack H.

The truck was our piece of crap it went and go over 50 miles an hour half the time and the dollar you've rented me was a piece of junk the wheels were so tight that wrecked my backRobert B.
