We use this place a couple times every year and it's purely out of convenience of proximity. The vehicles are not cleaned regularly and clearly not inspected after every return i.e. I always find garbage in the cargo area i.e. empty water bottles, portable ash trays, end pieces of lumber. They're in pretty rough shape too, but I can't put the blame on the rental location for that. I'd give it below average but I think this is pretty standard with the majority of uhaul locations. It is what it is and if you can, plan ahead and book with a more reputable rental company.

The back of the truck was very slippery since it had grease on it, there was a leak somewhere causing water damage, and the people before me did not lock the truck nor close the back door and it was pouring rain so the back was very wet as well.

This location, staff didn't go out to check the gas level with client, and than when I return, she said I didn't fill up the gas, said I need to fill up the gas at least 50 litter for driving 90 km?!!!! it's a 15 ft truck only. no truck in the world using that much gas, make no sense at all. I drove out the truck I took a look the gas level is 3/8, but she said system is 5/8.

I was pretty frustrated about trying to return it while they were open, and was quite relieved to see that there was no spurious extra charge. All else was excellent, the clerks I negotiated with last night were very nice and helpful, and it all went quite smoothly otherwise.

You get what you pay for (only 3/8 tank of gas and have to bring it back with 3/8 tank and truck not even brushed of snow when I picked it up and no snow brush in truck), but I was surprised to be charged an extra fee $2.50 for paying with a credit card.

The gas cap was broken upon starting the rental contract. This UHAUL location has not inspected the vehicle properly for damage. The gas cap was broken. Furthermore the vehicle was delivered to us with only a quarter tank of gas! As a result, we had to contact UHAUL head office for them to find and then send maintenance help to fix the gas cap issue. We were delayed almost 3 hours!

Speak to customer where to pick up the Van, as there are east and west parking lot in the building. (I assume is at the office side, west, and cannot find the van). Also, I filled gas tank back to 5/8 mark before returning van around Nov 2, around 6.45pm. Upon reviewing your electronic invoice after, the staff charged a gas fill up fee of $8.64. I only traveled 18km during my rental time period. Please refund me this gas amount, or I will bring it up to the Consumer Association. Raymond 416.802.9991

Horrible experience and have used uhaul many times. Had final confirmation of equipment reserved and arrived to find it being given away to a different customer. They didnt know anything about uhaul products or services. Didnt take our license. Couldnt answer our questions.

Truck was not available through 24/7 service when I arrived. Waited 1 hour on hold before someone called me to say truck was not returned even though I was standing right in front of it. To find the office was quite challenging. It was around the side of a run down building. Overall very stressful.

I rent a truck many times before. But this time I rent a small truck from this location they charge me 153.00$ For moving 1 king bed only. I always pay around 90$. For bigger truck ( same distance). They charge me to much for fuel, 20$ for late service,, It’s my last time I rent a truck from Uhaul

Clear communication on instructions. The self check in option did not work. Waited 3 hours to pick up truck. Gas was not full. The truck was switched on me the night before because there was no availability for the size I ordered. I am out $300 for a crew that had to wait 3 hours for the truck. This location was horrible.

Tried to use the app as directed to return the truck. However, after 4 attempts at uploading the required picture of the mileage and gas tank, I gave up. The app kept telling me I needed to upload it and never accepted the picture that you take THROUGH THE APP. Was pretty frustrating. I better not be charged the $20 convenience fee for the company to finish the return.

The truck was nasty. It smell like horse shit. I have pictures of horse shit on the inside of the truck I had to clean and disinfect the truck back. It was so nasty and stink. When I talked to the lady about it she told me to leave it and rent from somewhere else. It was end of month and no other truck was Available so I took it. It took me 4 hours to clean the truck back. I should have gotten a day free to clean it. I had it for two days because I day spent cleaning and washing out the back. Staff was not helpful and truck is used to move animal’s not house moving use. I have used Uhal many many time for menu years and this is the first time I got such a nasty truck. I got pictures to prove it. Never rent at this location again.

We had a great experience. The staff were both friendly and efficient. We accidently left some ID in their office and they called us to come back that same day. We deeply appreciate this because moving is tiring. Thanks!!! The only issue is that when we looked at truck availability on the uhaul website, that listed just a 10' truck available that day. Luckily, we went in person and there was a 15' truck available and we were very, very happy to book the larger sized truck. Thus, a discrepancy between their fleet and the uhaul website. Overall, the experience was good and the low rise design of the truck was fabulous. We're happy we chose uhaul.

The first time using the online automated pickup was a bit confusing. Wish there was a quick summary in the beginning to help me understand the process. The custom support took a little while (15 mins) to connect to, but the person i spoke to was courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. Wish I could remember her name to give her a shoutout. (called on July 7th, around 10:15 EST) Van was in great shape, A/C on point. Not a scratch on the van and the ride was smooth. Great experience overall, thank you!

it was a nice moment as i love the organized self service of sharing location for pick up but returing it was a mes as return process was not well organized as the application keep failing hence management should try and improve on the return application.

The van interior was dirty when I pick it up, with garbages like rope, small pieces of wood and empty water bottles. Took me about an hour to clean it up before use. But the van function well and the booking and returning process were smooth.

1. Rear of truck messy with blue/white debris. trucks not parked near office so you must sign before seeing condition of truck. 2. Rear rolling door very difficult to open and even more difficult to close-needs work!

Just found that the 10 feet truck had lit up with engine warning on the dashboard but just made it from Richmond Hill to Tillsonburg. Everything was under control. Just make sure that the truck to be safe for the next customer.

Parking lot far from key lockbox. Lockbox is located on far side corner of the neighboring building. Poorly maintained walkway to get there. I actually sprained my ankle walking on the uneven surface. Avoid this location at all costs!

Make sure your site works properly before relying on a complete online pick up and drop off. Took over 30 mins to approve the pick up, location also put the wrong key in the lock box. Also shouldn’t be completely away for lunch and should have at least a person available all hours especially for U Haul pick up or drop offs. Couldn’t even complete the drop off because U Hauls site kept crashing and having to start over each time. What a mess of an experience. Would not recommend U Haul especially if pick up and drop off goes through the website and doesn’t even work properly.

The receptionist arrived late, and didn't acknowledge their customers until 15 minutes after opening. I received my rental late. The truck interior was not swept, and I was not offered to inspect the vehicle for issues before taking off.

The blankets and trolley that I ordered were not in the truck, nor were anyone available to help bcz I needed the truck 8:00 AM. It left my furnitures unprotected and several of them are broken. And bcz of the lack of the trolley that I ordered l had to left heavy furniture. The person in the office took 45 min to receive the truck back at the end of the day bcz she was busy with conflict resolution between staff of the tire sales company on the same premises.

Don't change reservations with less than 24 hours before pick up. If this is necessary, make sure the pick up time is the same and not 2 hours later!

Dealer did not have the truck I rented available and gave me a smaller truck (which made me have to do 2 100km drives). The time I had requested was not available and they gave me a later time and then DIDNT EVEN SHOW UP TO WORK ON TIME and I had to wait additional time before I left the dealer. The reception person hardly spoke any English or French and could not answer ANY of my questions so I just gave up trying. Also the name of the company store front is not BEST DEALS TIRES. It's some Chinese name. Very difficult to find, 0 signs at the road.

The place is supposed to open @ 10, but staff was only showing up around 10:15, then getting ready, etc. and even though it only took about 10 min for me to get my truck I reserved, by then it was 10:35

The van was still dirty from the previous customer. The visibility of the location is poor and the storage area for the vehicles is not very close to the rental establishment. The operator insisted I sign the contract before inspection that it was clean , stating that I had insurance anyway. I was charged $90 for dollies and blankets outside of the U-Haul contract.

The second representative at this location was nice and checked out the truck for me when the online system wouldn't let me do so. I came a little early and wanted to make sure I had the truck at this location given that I spent $100 on cab fare to get here after being told my pickup location of choice didn't have the truck I wanted. I was snippily told by the first rep they weren't open yet. I was promised the truck for 7 am the day before then was told in the evening I couldn't get the truck until 10 am. I had to let my movers go after the truck arrived late at the apartment because they had another job and I ended up finishing the loading myself with my bad back. To add insult to injury, the truck wasn't clean and had leftover stuff from the previous renter, the furniture pads were filthy, and one equipment I requested to rent (a utility dolly) wasn't available. Suffice it to say my stress level was incredibly high the day before and on the day of the move and I got to my destination very late because I caught traffic on the 401 and QEW on the way to Buffalo, NY. It was an ordeal I wouldn't wish on anyone. All I can say is, don't make renting equipment stressful as moving day already is.

Did not have vehicle reserved and had to press them for same rate on bigger truck. Had to wait an hour before customer representative returned from break. When we dropped off vehicle barely acknowledged us... we had to ask if there was anything else we needed to do.

the computer system was down, or so i was told. 30 minutes of waiting and having a moving company waiting at my hours they finally gave me the truck. this issue caused me to loose 20 minutes with the moving company.

There are no service quality( ice cold service) at all in this location. not recommend to any one. Avoid this location and for sure you can rent the same truck with way better service.
