Customer interaction was poor to non existent. Despite having filled out all paperwork online to save time it was all ignored and I had to standby while agent slowly reentered EVERYTHING! When it was discovered that my pin holding the hitch into the receiver was an eighth of an inch too short, the agent simply walked away without any explanation or offer to help, or suggestion as to how to fix the problem. He simply terminated the interaction without explanation! All my requests for help were met with a simple “No”. When I finally asked where else I could secure another pin, the reply was” I don’t know, try the auto supply store in town” Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Andrew LI rented an enclosed trailer due to the forecast of rain. I loaded the trailer with family treasures after the passing of my father. Then it rained and we found out that the trailer leaked. After unloading the trailer we were assigned a different drop off location. After dropping the trailer at that location they couldn’t find us in the system! What a mess this was.
GARY WAn air purifier would go a long way. I'm ill with a progressive disease and the odor of cigarettes or whatever is overpowering. The people are fantastic and go out of their way to help. I was very unhappy with the after-hours return procedure. It took me over a dozen attempts to take satisfactory photos in the dark. I will make every possible attempt to get there prior to closing in the future. The staff did go out of their way to make it right though.

Robert JThe ac in our unit didn’t work for the two hrs we used it. It was very hot after loading furniture. I did notify the place we rented it from. When we tried it again after the two hr drive round trip, it work. It is glitchy so you may wanna have it looked at. Sucks to not have ac after sweating from loading and unloading. Other than that, everything was great. The service is always great at best deal and tire where we rented the equipment from. Thanks. K and D Patrick.

Will JI've rented trailers four times in the last 2-months as we moved, then went back for storage items. Very happy with all 3 size trailers I used. First used the 4x8, not having towed in quite some time. Went smooth, a bit to small for my days moving plans. Drawback for me at 6'-1" tall, I hit my head loading numerous times. LOL Next wanted to upside to the 5x8 which was unavailable so I used the 6x12. Went well, more storage and didn't hit my head while loading. Last trip I used the 5x8, plenty of space, only drawback was the roll up door. The load shifted and the roll up door bound up. But got the door part way open, unloaded some things so I could readjust the load to get the roll up door open. The 5x8 is my favorite size for what I was doing, wish it had the outward opening door like the 4x8 and the 6x12 had. All went well, no issues, great service both online, at pick up and drop off. Thank you!!!
Roger MMy reservation was not available at the Fresno location as promised, so I had to travel over 100 miles to pick-up unit. So far, U-Haul has never had the equipment as promised. I have had to travel far out of my way to get the last two trailers. The price of the diesel alone was expensive, adding to my cost. I do not understand why you only charge $20 for not returning on time. The penalty is too cheap and screws the customer who made the reservation for the unit.
Gary GI would recommend because it is the only U-haul up here. This is a business that does U-Haul on the side, and U-Haul is obviously not their main priority

Angel AU-haul representative called me several times to say the Oakhurst location was full and they were not. I would have had to driven an extra hour each way to drop the car hauler off. I was not told until AFTER I was on the road. This made me really angry as I would have made other arrangements. Oakhurst was NOT full.

George PTruck floor was muddy as was trailer hitch like they backed up into a dirt hill. They were really nice though. The passenger door didn’t shut tight so there was wind noise the whole 6 hour drive.

No other help was offered to get the forgotten item. Otherwise, a good location, would rent from again. I'd just take care to make sure your stuff was there as they get busy and forget things.

ANGEL AThe attendant did not review anything on the vehicle with me. They just handed me the keys. The two rear tires were 10 pounds low on air. This is a safety hazard.
Robert BAlthough the location was not a problem, Uhaul did NOT have a truck available at the location where I reserved it, causing me to travel 50 miles to this mountain location to retrieve a truck. They did not give me advance notice of this & they did not give me any credit from the charges for the inconvenience or the extra gas I had to use.
