Upon pickup of the vehicle, the tire pressure was not adequate in all tires and was required to go to a gas station and adjust it. This should have been the responsibility of uhaul. The cost of the pressure adjustment was 8 dollars. Then the inside of the vehicle was filthy. Fingernails inside the cup holder and on the floor, cup holders were filthy and sticky. I spent 30 minutes cleaning the vehicle myself. The box inside was dirty also and had shattered glass as well as screws and other dirt. Overall the vehicle should have been more clean as we used it for cross country. Very unsatisfied with the Overall condition of the car. Lastly, we mentioned it to the clerk at the pickup location and she was not very willing to assist us with the tire pressure. Simply told us to “go ahead and fill it up”. Unacceptable.

If you give me a van with a full tank of gas, I expect a full tank of gas. I drive less than 10 miles and needle moved below F. I had to put in almost 5 gallons og gas. There is no way that I used 5 gallons.

Rushed me out of the store without even explaining anything or showing me the truck. Gave me wrong information regarding the fuel. Truck very dirty and banged up. Tire pressure light was on when i received the truck but guy left at 5:20 when supposed to stay open till 7 pm. Horrible service. The guy was very rude too!

Not all equipment reserved was available at pick up. Despite a previous call to make sure that it was. Had to go to a third party at a different location for another item.

We dropped it off after hours so did not speak to anyone, but they miswrote my mileage and charged me 100 dollars extra. they corrected the mistake once i called immediately, but i also think it's important to not overcharge for an already expensive trip.

The truck I reserved was not at the location at 11am, when I was supposed to pick it up. I was told it was being driven to the Bergenfield U-Haul and would be there in 20-30 minutes. An hour later, the truck was still not there, at which point the Bergenfield employee checked on the truck and was told by the main depot that the driver had only just left. The truck finally arrived an hour and a half late. The driver who was transporting the truck, Ezekiel, told us when he got there that he wasn’t even aware that we were there waiting for the truck. This delay was especially unfortunate because I had movers waiting for me at my old and new apartments and had a scheduled inspection with my landlord that afternoon and was late for all of these appointments because of the delay at U-Haul.

Left over trash in the van upon receipt. Other than that the rental was satisfactory. The counter person was friendly and fast.
