UHaul, dolly & furniture pads were scheduled for Saturday March 18th @ one location. Called location on Friday to make sure they had everything & they said they did & was ready for us to get on Saturday. We traveled from WV to DE (approx 370 miles) to get this UHAUL to get my furniture out of storage & bring to WV. Approximately an hour before we were to pick up UHAUL, dolly & 12 furniture pads onMarch 18th we were notified by UHAUL there was a change in pick up location. I called UHAUL to verify everything would be there & they could not verify if it would be there. We got to location (in a very bad section of DE & was told by someone leaving there to be sure & keep our doors locked when in our vehicle there as it was a bad crime area). We went inside to get checked in.THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY DOLLIES & ONLY SIX FURNITURE PADS!!! Could barely understand person working there. We left area & went past my original site to pick up UHAUL that I had requested & - guess what? They had 2 15' UHAUL trucks there! And i had requested 15' UHAUL! WHY DID I HAVE TO CHANGE PICK UP LOCATIONS & GO THROUGH THIS WHEN ORIGINAL PICK IP LOCATION HAD REQUESTED UHAUL????? VERY POOR SERVICE!!!! I would suggest checking out locations to make sure they are safe & that they have requested equipment. I will be posting this review on FB! Very unhappy w/your serviceBarbara D.
The process was somewhat complex at the store because the person working had to call someone on the outside to complete the rental. Also, the store was very chaotic with many people coming in and out to purchase liquor and the person working had to go back and forth helping us and the others in the store. The truck needed an oil change and one of the tires was very low. I filled the tire with air because I was very concerned about driving on a flat tire. The person working was very friendly though and in the end it all worked out okay, so I probably would rent from them again.Alexia W.

This is not an appropriate pick up location for customers. The 24/7 truck share program can not be used at this facility even though I was previously told it could be by customer service. My pickup was for 9 AM and I received an online error message saying I had to wait for the alcohol shop to open at 10 AM to get the truck even though the shop hours listed it as opening at 9AM. There were no employees at the shop at 9 AM and we had to waste a half hour on the phone with customer service trying to get another truck before our movers were scheduled to come. Ultimately we were late for our movers who arrived on time at my home at 10 AM.Charris A.

I made a reservation over a week in advance and when I went to pick up my reserved truck the facility was no open and they did not have a key in the lockbox for pickup. Had to go to another location lost time and was paying some helpers to move me. Lost time and money because of UHaulMichael K.
Friendly staff that was very easy to work with. Reserved 10' truck online. Upon pick up, key was not available for reserved truck so upgraded to 20' truck. The upgraded size was exactly what we needed. Extended rental extra day without issue. Drop off was simple and hassle free.Meghan K.

The same thing happened with the drop off as with the pickup - because no person was there the website did not recognize where we were dropping off and did not register - we spent over an hour there just to drop off the truck. The staff at Belvedere Liquors were great, however the online check in process was terrible and took us over 45 minutes in the sun, with no data connection, low phone memory to take 12 different photos, retake them because they're blurry, get kicked out of the website and start over, all while I had to go to the bathroom. Again the staff was apologetic about having to use the online check in, but I will never put myself through that again. Hands down the hardest part of the move and a huge pain. And I'm a person who knows how to use a smartphone, I can't imagine how frustrated an older person might be. Believe me we needed to buy some liquor after dealing with U-Haul online check in.Rachel B.

I would never rent a Uhaul from this place ever again!They are very unprofessional.I paid for the Uhaul the same day I rented it!They said that I have rented the Uhaul 5/23-5/28 however the price was correct but I called and told them that I brought the Uhaul back the same day and the guy hung up on me.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.They even took out of my account four days after I rented the Uhaul.I called to ask why and he hung up on me again!Malisha J.

The 24/7 Share is awful! I reserved 2 times....both time the key was NOT in the lock box, and it was NOT inside the store neither time. I then reserved for a 3rd time, but given inaccurate information, so I could not get this truck either! On the 4th reservation all was fine. When I called the location to verify pick up after receiving a text from uhaul that said â€œcall to verify,â€ the owner said that they were going on vacation and I couldn't pick it up til next week. I explained that I booked the reservation three weeks ago and we planned to pick it up at 9. He said â€œfine, we'll see you at 9.â€ I called them around 8:45am when we were on our way and no one picked up. I kept calling back until someone finally answered and said we were on our way. They said ok. We got there and the location was locked up with a padlock and no one was there. We call back again to see what is happening and again, no answer. I continued to call since we had people waiting to help us move at our storage unit. They finally answered at 9:30 (30 minutes after scheduled pick up time) and said they were 2 minutes away. When the owners showed up- we got no apology for them being late. The truck was dirty in both the front and back cabin. Staples on the floor, mud, stuff that could be swept away quickly by the owners if they tried. Definitely DO NOT go here to rent your uhaul.KATHRYN M.

The vehicle was extremely dirty. Had to clean from out of pocket. The operators are not basically knowledgeable about the workings of U-Haul. But the most crucial thing is the cleanliness of the vehicle. It's a solid truck but not well cared for.MIRJAM V.

The entire process from UHaul was terrible. I asked for a specific pick up location and the day prior to pick up I was given another pick up location. Then on the day of pick up a was given a third pick up location (Teds Liquors) and when I got there I was told there was no truck for me to pick up. We were billed for an extra day because the agent did not clock us in as dropping it off at the correct time. Said he would handle it later. Should have known. The inconvenience of asking for a refund was not a hassle, Uhaul refunded if to us, but if I didn't check, I would have been charged. It was very difficult to get the rental from this retailer. Once we got the truck, we saw there was a pile of dirt in the truck. Luckily, at my apartment I had a broom because we had to fully sweep the truck before putting my items inside. Not clean at all.Paul K.
