Get your logistics fixed. I get a text to take the trailer to one place then get a call from another place asking me were the trailer was even though I already dropped it off to the address uhaul texted to me. It also explains why I got a wrong destination charge back in May for a truck rental. Fix your internal communications and logistics before it becomes a legal issue.

The pick up location was changed twice and when I got there they had it under a different name. I had also reserved 24 blankets and they only had 8.

The U-Haul Roadside rep Cyreena was fantastic! She stayed with us via text and phone from my original call 10:24 am. After waiting almost 3 hours for U-Haul authorized tow truck, the area manager Charlie (706) 889-3733 called me to check on us. Once he found out we were still waiting on the tow truck, he offered to bring the replacement vehicle to us on the side of the road! He helped me reload the auto carrier, reload the truck I was towing, and stayed with the broken down truck to wait on the tow truck who was still 13 minutes away. His extra effort was the saving grace to my whole U-Haul experience. He and Cyreena were the only reason my family made it safely to Jacksonville at 10:24 pm 05/23. A mere 15 hours after my day started!

The trailer was parked in the mud which made it hard to move. The back door was left open in the rain so the inside was wet. I received the check the trailer text, after I left the lot. Not a pleasant experience at all

Didn't walk me outside with a sheet to mark all the defects. Side mirror was cracked, bad scratches on hood and some normal but could see some scuffs on side of truck. None which I did but with no paper I have no proof. Just hope I don't get screw because of this other than that it was good

I'm not going to lie the truck was perfect for what I needed I ran great, everything worked the pick up place was 3 miles away . The gentleman was very very patient,nice, understanding of my needs , was a bit of miscommunication, nobhe fault of the rental man at pick up. I think got over charged on the miles. They said I went 111 Miles when I never once went outside a 10 mile radius. I got charged$116 I don't believe the 25 miles was taken into consideration at the point of payment but all and all I would and Will rent again I will just pay more attention to the beginning mileage. Thank you, Sunoco and U+haul

This rural location merely expected me to navigat a 12x6 trailer into a damp muddy location on my own and to unhitch it myself, finally had to tell the convenience store attendent he had to come outside and help me lift off this enormous trailer (which he finally did). Someones going to get hurt . . .

This whole ordeal was a mess from the start. When I made my reservation online the system double booked me. Luckily I saw that and cancelled one of the reservations. Then I showed up at the UHaul dealer that was on my email (and the one I wanted) and was told (after a 30 minute wait while they were dealing with another customer and having computer issues) that they didn't even have the truck size that I ordered. They call the District Manager and he said that 'UHaul Traffic' never assigned a location for my reservation. When I called the national line the lady saw that and quickly assigned me to a location quite a few miles away. When I got there the clerk (a convenient store) was very rude and upset that I wanted to pick up a truck while he was eating his dinner and about to close! Then he hands me the keys and my paperwork and says goodbye (about 6:45pm)! No walk a round to inspect damage. I then walked to the truck and saw lots of damage, came back inside and was told not to worry about it because it was marked. By this time it was after 7pm. When I brought the truck back the next day around 6:35pm, filled it with fuel and went inside to check it in i was told I was being charged for 2 days! WTF? The clerk then had to call her supervisor to get it changed. To top it off the truck itself was very unsafe and shook terrible while driving. So much so that when I looked in the mirror I couldn't make out the cars right behind me in the left lane. This was the worse experience of renting vehicles I've ever had. I truly expect some sort of communication with UHaul apologizing for all this mess.

We had to change and contact this location last minute. The original booking was at 9:00 AM. 221 CHATSWORTH HWY 225, CALHOUN, GA 30701 and our phone number is (706) 403-4121. This the staff didn't arrive until 10:30 and were extremely rude and insulting. They insisted we were scheduled to pickup at 10am, but out documentation showed 9am. Even if 10am was the pickup time, they showed up at 10:30 with an attitude. The reflection on U-Haul as a brand was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Moving is stressful enough, the experience with U-HAUL CO 221 CHATSWORTH HWY 225 CALHOUN,GA 30701 Made it exponentially more stressful. While our experience with Bellwood Sunoco 784 Belwood Rd Calhoun, GA 30701 was positive, the fact that U-Haul allows 221 location to represent is concerning. We then were made aware the 221 location frequently receives complaints. I absolutely will not recommend U-Haul for anyone needing your services as long as U-Haul allows such poor representation that we originally received at 221 Chatsworth. The worst customer service I have ever had was at U-HAUL CO 221 CHATSWORTH HWY 225 CALHOUN,GA 30701 (706) 403-4121

I had a verbal agreement to return the equipment on the day my contract ended but after the location closed for the day. Three days later I received an email that the equipment was not returned, but after being on a customer service call for 25 minutes it was finally resolved. The location had the bare minimum equipment and I just felt like they tried to take advantage by reporting it unreturned and then returned late to get more money out of me.

I am working a job I will be moving every year.I will not be during uhaul.I was given a tow dolly that was broke.I was given straps incase.The tow dolly strap came off driving through the Tennessee Kentucky mountains. Made an 8 he trip 15 hrs.No Uhaul open on memorial day night.Penski definitely got my business. Very dangerous

The man at the gas station didn't seem to know what he was doing. He kept walking away from me to serve customers in the convenience store without telling me what he was doing or whether I needed to stay. When he finally finished what he needed to do, he never told me that I was set and free to go. Terrible customer service.

The check in process took a long time. The man tried to charge me a hundred dollars more than my reservation stated. At first he couldn't produce a receipt. He seemed flippant and apathetic. My blankets were not in the truck. The drop off location was not correct per my reservation. Nothing about the pick up location went as stated.

The attendant at the Belwood Sunoco had a phone earpiece in his ear the entire time he waited on us. It was difficult to tell if he was addressing us or his phone conversation. He did not walk out to do a Pretrip inspection. He apparently was not aware there were furniture pads and hand trucks in the back which we did not rent. Lucky for them we are honest. Generally unprofessional business transaction. Also, this was not our original chosen pick up location. The day before our scheduled pickup we were sent an email stating the Bellwood location was our pickup store but we had actually reserved for Patty's Truck Stop in Adairsville. We had not received a call notifying us of this, my wife just happened to check the emails and see it. We called and they stated someone had tried to call but I had 0 missed calls. They had no idea and no documentation as to why the pickup was switched. We changed the pickup back to Patty's. We arrived to pick up our truck on time 1 pm on Sunday and he did not have a truck, it was broken down. We had to call customer service, speak to 3-4 different people before finally getting our reservation changed to Bellwood to pick up a truck. Thankful they had one or we would have had a huge problem as we needed the entire truck for our load. We were able to call and get the $50 credit as guaranteed and we did greatly appreciate that.

After I paid and the clerk got my info, he said it out there. I had to attach the dual axial trailer by my self. My back is still hurting from the strain of lifting it and trying to get it onto my hitch by myself.

First, I made an online reservation, and got a confirmation email. Then, I went to that location to pick up my truck, and the owner of the small boutique (not a UHaul store) had not even heard of my order, and didn't have any trucks. After debating it for a while, she called UHaul and was told my truck was on the other side of town at a gas station. So I drove to the gas station, and waited while the store clerk sold gas and cigarettes. When he finally got to me, they didn't have the size truck I had reserved. They would give me a smaller one for the same price. Then the store owner took over and gave me a 26 foot truck for the price of a 17 foot, which was nice, I guess. But, I got stuck with a 26 foot truck, way too big. Apparently UHaul reservations at small independents are useless.

The truck at mud throughout the box floor, rear step, and front floorboard. As I was about to leave, thee operator came out with a mop and mopped the box floor, rear step and part of the floorboard. This should have all been done before renting to a customer.

The place was supposed to be open at 9am no one showed up. Ended up having to call u-haul on the phone and when they could not get hold of the person running the store I was able to hook the trailer up myself. The phone rep was very helpful the store owner should not be in business. Checked the tire pressure before leaving the store one had 55# the other only 45# - supposed to be 60#. I had a 750 mile drive to go good thing I checked it -isn't the trailer supposed to be ready to go before someone takes it? Ended up taking well over an hour to finally get hooked up- had to get a friend over to help and make sure all the lights worked.

We rented a trailer and it worked very well. I like the email notifications. One piece of advice may be to somehow simplify the paperwork process. It takes 20 minutes just to register. i.e. allow pre-register via online. Also, it would help if the trailer had a jack or wheel on the tounge/hitch. It was really heavy and two of us had to lift it.

Customer service is horrible. The guy tried to tell me there was a smell in the back of the truck. The truck was returned the same way I picked it up. They made me wipe the driveside floor because it had footprints due to it raining outside. This location needs training.

Haas, the Sunoco employee, was extremely nice. He waited past closing time for us to get there and then stayed almost an hour past the stores closing time to help us get the trailer hooked up and ready to go. He went above and beyond to help us. I appreciate him very much. If i was in the area, i would definitely rent from him again!!!
