We reserved a U-Haul for pick up at 9AM. When we arrived we had to wait in line for over an hour before we could actually get checked in. The person working there told me they were just about to give the vehicle to someone else because we were an hour late. Was taken a little off guard by the comment but continued through the process and was finally able to get the vehicle. The vehicle worked out just fine. The next morning while returning the same employee required me to use the U-Haul website to return the truck. Seemed a little strange since he was right there going over other vehicles, but ok. I got half way through returning the vehicle and then the site got stuck loading the next question. The only thing I could do at that point was reload the site and start all over again which was incredibly frustrating. After completing everything again, the site said I was good to go, and I was sent an email of the receipt. However, two days later I received a voicemail saying the truck has not been paid for and I need to call back immediately or they will be sending everything to claims. I was given the receipt, my bank shows the payment as processing. I don’t know what the issue is, but immediately threatening to send everything to claims seems a little extreme. I’m hoping everything is all fine now, but the overall experience doesn’t make me want to rent from that U-Haul location in the future.

Owner operator extremely rude. Not a good representative for the U-HAUL BRAND. Truck was not clean, dust on dashboard, dirt on floor.board. Would never ever do business with this location again.

Tried to get a truck from a specific location. They changed the pickup twice so just gave up and picked it up at a different location. After pickup for some reason I kept receiving email and text saying they expected me to return it to a different location than I expected. I returned it where I picked it up. Final bill was reasonable but I can figure out how all the charges actually added up.

The location is great for me but the guy that runs this franchise checked me in and spent fifteen minutes telling me about “problem customers” which ate into my rental time. The van I rented wasn’t terribly dirty but it was far from clean, especially the seats which had a lot of dog hair. When I returned the van I went to drop the keys with the owner who was sitting in his office with his feet on the desk and he referred me to the drop box on the back of his building and told me to use the app to return the van. I wasn’t impressed with the level of customer service.

Very expensive, for 40 miles it spent 5 gallons gas It costed total $125 for 4 hours in town. There are many hidden things them to add price then than $19.99

I made a reservation at another location, which got changed to Eastgate. This location was not as convenient. U-Haul should have better inventory control. That would minimize location changes. Your system works for UHaul but not for the customer.

This was the worst U-Haul I've ever rented from. I will be telling everyone how rude the man is, how he likes to try to charge you for anything he wants (like a cleaning fee if you don't MOP the back of the truck), and just an overall bad experience. The people here won't even let you park your car in their parking lot, or let someone sit in their car and wait for you in the parking lot. So rude and unprofessional in every aspect. I will be bringing my business elsewhere in the future for sure

I did not use 15 gal of fuel to travel 21 miles. This account is incorrect and I dispute this charge. 21 miles and 15 gallons is 1.4 mpg … clearly a mistake. The fuel gauge is faulty.

I have experienced very bad. And I saw many customer complaints like me, we returned the truck and keys following the instructions , but apps failed and stopped working, that took 30 to 40 minutes to do, and still failed. All we can do is just drop the keys in the box .. bad apps, why you do some test before put into business. Besides the manager could not help at all, and charge us more fees, I want to see my bill details if you can.

This location is a scam location. They have charge me 2nd time for a cleaning fee $35, but I returned absolutely clean truck. I already escalated a case for the return my money. Poor location, poor staff. They don’t want to check the truck with you after returning. Not recommended, 0/10. Shame, scam.

There are too many negatives. The gentleman helping me complaining about other customers, not providing a print out of the starting fuel amount, mileage or any relevant information to the rental, and the rental being dirty but marked as clean... I've rented many Uhaul trucks, but will never return to this location.

The representative told me the rent for dolly will be 7$ but while making the final payment it came as 20$ which completely unfair... The location I booked the uhaul had been changed and I had to go to different place to pick and drop.

1) I was charged more than the standard going rate for the truck and its use. 2) I had to bring the truck back with exactly the same amount of gas--which was almost zero 3) From #2, I was almost immediately in need of fuel. Convenient that this is being rented from a gas station. Sorry but this just doesn't seem like the kind of ethics becoming of a company with such a long history. Things need to change here.

The U-Haul app is capturing wrong information. I filled the gas to full with my money for $25. U-haul has charged to $102 for 17GL. I have raised this issue to 701001_AFM@uhaul.com but no response yet.

At first the experience was good and the salesman seemed very nice.. However, once I was concerned about the CDW charge I saw he started acting very rude and told me I better pay it or U-Haul won't rent to me anymore. Then when I was finalizing my check-in he kept telling in a very frustrated manner that I had better make sure the truck is clean or I'll be charged for it. I had already swept out the truck prior to this and was just taking the picture. Finally he told me I shouldn't be rude to him and he just won't rent me a truck anymore in the future. Making sure you have more mentally stable sales people would have improved the experience.

I don't know if it was the location or the company, but they tried to tack on every fee they could. They claimed I didn't return with enough gas, that it was dirty, and it was returned after hours; all untrue! They even charged me for two days when I only used it for an afternoon. I am fighting all these extra charges, this is unacceptable. The truck itself worked fine as usual.

If we have to do the visual pre rental inspection of the equipment and post rental inspection to include taking pictures of the interior and exterior of the vehicle during business hours is there an employee discount that we can apply since we are doing both pre and post inspection of the vehicle before returning the keys to a drop slot.

I cleaned the truck and turned in same as I received it& was charged a cleaning fee. I was also under the mileage and have the proof to prove it. Uhaul mess me back only returning half the cleaning fee I was charged. I will never Rent from this location again

I recently rented a 10’ foot truck from this U-haul business and they were dishonest with their prices after the services were done. I turned my 24hr truck rental in after only using it for less than four hours. The manager said it was fine and took the key to the truck at 4:00 pm which is an hour before closing. She also said that it would be processed soon because the crew was out doing maintenance at the time. I said that is okay and I told her that I filled it up with gas, swept it out and took photos and videos of the vehicle and mileage. I had to call the business several times and no one answered the phone ever. The store was open because it’s a gas station as well. I had to call the corporate office that fields the phone calls several times and they said that they would contact the rental agent for me. When I finally received my final billing statement I was appalled by the erroneous charges that I received on my credit card. They said that I turned the truck in after hours and that they charged a cleaning fee. Additionally, they charged for mileage which was the only accurate charge. Dishonest business practices and not worthy of your business is my honest opinion based on facts. I have photos and videos to prove this and they have 24hr surveillance video of the entire business inside and outside where I was and the vehicle is. The times are all on video and me handing over the keys. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. It’s really not worth the hassle to have to dispute charges on your credit card and haggle with dishonest people and business practices.

The equipment was clean but there was excessive play in the steering. It felt like the vehicle was constantly wandering and tricky to control. Beware of hidden fees such as environmental fee, after hours fee (I rented 9:30-4:00 Sunday) , and rental tax.

The location was okay, but the truck was in terrible condition, the wheels would slide without even moving the steering. you constantly have to keep correcting to keep the truck in the lane. I have driven better trucks from U-Haul before. The truck had 133K+ miles on it. It's worn out and needs repairs on the internal engine.

Your reservation process allowed me to reserve a truck at my preferred location. Then your system had me go to a different location to pickup the vehicle. When I asked for a milage credit for the difference in locations since you charge for mileage, the clerk immediately gave me an attitude of I can take my business somewhere else if I don't like it. Then when I returned the truck, your website did not work on my phone. Finally, once I received my receipt, I discovered the clerk had added the Safe Coverage what I did not add when I made the reservation. So, your reservation process is very bad. Your milage charges are excessive. The clerk was pretty rude. I was over charged. And your return process is event worse than your reservation process. The price of $19 is advertised all over your truck but when I ended up with a $80 bill plus I had to refill the gas. So, I ended up with more like $100 out of pocket instead of $19. All this is enough to make me write this complaint and I will do everything I can to avoid ever using your services in the future.

The owner, I feel, intentionally charged me for an extra day. I was cautious and prepared as I had read several negative reviews on this location about overcharges etc. I even tried to change location but only this location had the truck I needed. So I went into it being wary. I only had the truck from 9am to 4:15pm Saturday. Tried to give keys to owner. He said put in lock box. Asked for receipt. He said get it online. Next day I get email with huge bill. He charged me for two days as it listed my return time as 10:32am Sunday!! Not happy. I had to call corporate and I got a refund. Not a good business owner!! I like U-Haul just not that business owner.

The attendant who was at the desk was very rude and unhelpful. He refused to assist and just kept telling us to "use the app." While the truck was clean, the parking brake handle, arm rest, and other cabin elements were either broken or in disrepair.

The U-Haul Equipment was as advertised. The customer service from Bellevue Texaco was horrible. They were very rude and actually insulted my husband to me. They appeared to not want to provide actual service but rather tell me to go to the U-Haul app. This experience was some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I would strongly recommend U-Haul review this agent as they do not give U-Haul a good name

Owner was very curt, seemed to be very jaded about his job. Maybe just having a bad day. Also did not appreciate not having the opportunity to check the truck in with a person - had to use the online tool despite it not working on my phone. It took at least twenty minutes after my 4:00 rental start time to do your paperwork. Then I turned it back very close to 4 hours after I drove off your lot but I was charged for a full second day and another day of insurance. The original estimate I was given was $60 but I was charged $180+. Complete rip off. I had your van 4 hours and was charged two days rental. I plan to write a very negative review of your establishment.

I rented from Texaco 15220 se 37th street, bellevue wa 98006. THEY FIND EXCUSES TO UP CHARGE AFTER THE RENTAL. Rent somewhere else. We swept and hosed out the back of the box truck. The guy working there comes out and says it’s filthy. I was stunned. He points to a spot that has like a hard water deposits like would be on your glass window. Then they charge me $35 as a cleaning deposit. I think Texaco U-Haul at 15220 se 37th st, bellevue wa 98006 is trying to find every little reason to “UP CHARGE YOU AFTER THE SALE!” I have rented from other U-Haul‘s multiple times return the U-Haul in the same condition and never had an issue like this.
