So I was charged an extra 25.00 and the truck was filled with gas, the same amount I picked it up in. The location changed and that wasn't a problem. However I don't like hidden fees especially when I've brought it back in the same condition.

This location is fraudulent. I paid for a truck rental April 2018 with my bank card and they have used my card number to make withdrawals for various amounts from my account at least twice per month until August 2018. I have my receipt for payment and have opened an investigation for fraud against this location...1319 Brush Creek KCMO 64110

The only problem I had was the thick smell of smoke from a smoker that filled the cab. Whoever had it before me, smoked in it heavily. Still coughing because of it.

Did not want or order “safe move”. Proprietor deceptively charged me for this and charged me on an unauthorized basis. Not happy!!! 816 500-4278. A $15 refund would be appreciated.

I never got a receipt or any paperwork at all. The lock was broken on the uhaul. When I went to return it the clerk at the store was yelling and screaming at someone on the phone (Not a customer but someone he knew) he just jerked the keys out of my hand and waved me away. There was a homeless man in the store who told me he was selling the clerk a dog but that dog must have been costing Along because the clerk had a wad of $100 bills in his hand. I was so uneasy I will never return to this location.

I was charged an additional $30 at this UHaul location for a "Fuel Fill-Up Service Fee", and my total cost was way higher than expected. I would never recommend this place, as they are just trying to scam people renting trucks for money.

They should have a bigger sign that indicates it is a Uhaul dealer. But it was fine.

1) The location selection was a frustration; it was the 6th or 7th closest option from my needed starting location. I'm sure the automated logistics decision of over-stocked or under-stocked equipment was part of it. HOWEVER I could not get through your customer service system to try to change the pick-up location. Endless loop on the phone customer service number, and the link sent to me via email DID NOT WORK and I was not allowed to submit the concern or question prior to the equipment rental. FELT like a scam to quell customer service concerns prior to the rental occurrence. SCAM. 2) There was an English language barrier at check-in; ordinarily this is not a problem for me; I am very understanding and flexible and work with colleagues from a variety of international backgrounds... BUT he played it to the hilt, and used the barrier to not print paperwork for me. I walked away with no receipt, no hard-copy of the equipment check/review (walk-around), etc. I STILL do not have a receipt that shows what was charged to my credit card. He might have been the only worker at the beauty supply shop and not allowed to leave the building to do the walk-through. Only one worker for two businesses (Beauty Essence and the U-Haul franchise) should not be acceptable to you, I would think. 3) Engine speed regulator (governor) was set at 74mph. I was passed by two other smaller UHaul trucks in Kansas who were able to go about 80 (they went past me very easily). I understand the safety concern, but it is also a hazard to get stuck next to "little old ladies with cruise control set at 73"... which actually did happen. As I tried to pass them, I was tail-gated multiple times by tractor trailers trying to go just a little faster. NOT SAFE.

Not open at time of pickup, had to wait for him to show up. Unsure of what data was entered as he Did not review vehicle with me, ask for ID, etc. Told me they checked it yesterday and I had insurance so it was fine. There were marks on drivers side when picked up.

Have someone who knows how to check Uhauls in, I have rented multiple uhauls over the past 9 years and have never had such a unprofessional and incompetent experience. The Uhaul was damaged and extremely dirty. The worker never walked out to address anything, He wasn’t going to have me sign anything and then had me sign paperwork for “checking in” a trailer AND THEN HE HANDED BACK TO ME. The only thing I had signed was given back to me without a copy for their records. The trailer was parked backward and since the worker didn’t come out to help, my family and I had to PICK IT UP AND TURN IT AROUND. Very unpleasant experience, this location does need a lot more training.
