Very convenient location for me and the truck was available as promised which is a real positive if you have had the opposite experience. The "office" of this location is the counter of a convenience store so there are several delays in the transaction while others buy cigarettes and burritos.

This was probably one of the best U-Haul experiences I've ever had. I dealt with Ashley at Texaco and not only was she extremely helpful, professional and so incredibly kind, but she also tended to the store simultaneously and it was impressive to see her multitasking skills. She is very efficient and does her job extremely well. Will definitely recommend Bayshore Texaco and I will definitely be using their services in the future.

No one,called me the day before to confirm. Online said I could pick up my truck anytime online, that was not true. I had to go into an office. I was not able to upload pics of damage to the truck. It was an overall terrible experience.

The woman who was at the front counter was so bad it defies description. The person in front of me said he had been waiting 30 minutes for her to make the reservation and he was mad, After them it took her 45 minutes to get me my truck even though I had resevied it online!!!!!!!!! She did nothing but bad mouth Uhaul and was very unprofessional. This was my worse experience with Uhaul!!!! Then they gave me a key for the wrong truck and again blamed Uhaul. I would fire this person on the spot if I could!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would never go to this location again of there as another choice in Shelton, WA.

Corporate U Haul may want to make a visit to this location and evaluate this particular business. This location provides no service, knowledge, or assistance when renting U Haul equipment. I loaded my own trailer and strained my back when lifting the tongue onto my truck hitch. This could have been avoided with assistance from a U Haul employee. When I asked for help, I was told “if you can’t get it, I’ll call an old man out back if he is around.” When I asked what size ball I needed, the sales associate didn’t know. After I figured out on my own, I had to leave the dealer and purchase a new hitch and ball and then return for the trailer. The trailer also had a missing wiring harness for the lights. I had to take a harness from a nearby trailer and connect it to mine to allow for myself to have lights on the trailer. After getting connected I pulled forward extremely slowly because my trailer had been backed into a different U Haul trailer that had been poorly parked there from the renters prior to my visit. My trailer was actually wedged into the neighboring trailer. After I got home to load the trailer, I noticed one of the tires looked flat. After checking the air pressure, the tire only had 13 psi. I pumped it up at my house to the proper psi. It is also worth mentioning that this location in Shelton is dirty and the H Haul equipment is stored in a area that reminds me of a dump. Old lumber piles and abandoned camping trailers neighbor the rental equipment. This place is undoubtedly sketchy. I could go on about my negative experience, but I believe the above description of my recent experience at the Shelton U Haul (at the Texaco Station) is enough to “raise a red flag” for those who are responsible for making decisions regarding U Haul rental locations.

Customer service is lacking, over half the workers cant work the computer, some are rude, and the computer system is outdated and keeps crashing, walk in customers get a rudeish greeting and told to make an online reservation before coming cause the employee computer is slow, it crashes, or they dont have time

Have a person at the counter that takes care of U-Haul customers. The woman behind the counter had a line of customers for the gas station and grocery store that she took care of first before the U-Haul customers. I waited 35 minutes at the counter.

Never rent from bayshore Texaco shelton. I rented 19 ft box can to move table and chairs . I went 19 miles put4.743 gal of gas at location I returned it at. I was charged additional 19 for another 4 gal of gas by uhaul . Tryed explaining there is no way 19 miles would use that much gas. The didn't even go recheck the cage. I was told that's how it works. I will rent else where from now on. Total rip off!!!

Messed up my paperwork, sat there while trying to figure it out, and by the end of it paid more than I find reasonable. I had rented a box truck an trailer did a 1 way from Portland and it costed me the same as what I paid yesterday just to move to Olympia from Shelton.

I received excellent service from making my reservation through truck return. The only problems I encountered were when making my reservation on line was the accuracy of the size of truck available at this location, but that was fixed at the phone call. The problem was the link expired before I could figure out how to upload my id. It wasn't necessary. This location was terrific for renting a truck. \

My complaint is about the app. I am bent out of shape about it. First of all - it only allowed me to upload 1 photo (the add photo button does not work), secondly when I tried to submit the info on my vehicle it timed out! I suspect that it's intended to try and pressure people into purchasing the ins to protect themselves from liability for the condition. From now on I will insist on an employee verified inspection if the app does not properly function.

Trailer was there as reserved in advance. It was not swept out, had small amount of debris and an older cinch strap left in it, not useable, and dirty. I hooked up the trainer on my own, the staff did not offer to help but a male staff there came out before I left and checked my work to be sure it was properly done (it was). Very average to below average service

The young woman working when I returned the tow dolly was AMAZING! She was handling several things between 2 u-haul customers and intermittent store customers yet she remained very polite and took care of things quickly. This may be the best review I have ever given. Please tell her boss.

Check in and out was no problem. Staff was very nice This is the first time a franchise has not brought the truck around but trusted the customer to get it out from between the other trucks.. My only real issue I believe is with uhaul. I requested a 20' truck. I was told on the phone that the floor of the truck was 19"6". When I picked it up I questioned the length again and was told the deck was 20'. I took it to the lumber yard and guess what? My 20' beams stuck out behind the box by 3'. I had forgotten that uhaul has it's own special tape measures. IF I ever rent from uhaul again I'll be sure to bring an SAE tape measure.

Really...... both sides of this rental took OVER 15 minutes fighting w the computers, and I took the time online when I made the reservation to fill out ALL THE PRE-RENTAL info!!!! To not have it available to your field reps!!!!! :(

The cashier at this location was doing at least 3 things: Accepting payment for gas fill-up, selling in-store items and servicing U-Haul customers. For this somewhat remote location, that's probably fine. Wouldn't make sense financially to add additional personnel there. She was very nice and provided the printed receipt with a clear explanation of the charges.

The customer service woman gave me excellent support and tried her hardest to get us tot the dropoff location we selected. She went above and beyond, but Uhaul wouldn't cooperate.
