DAVIDFRANCIS SELIGSo my reservation was for 8am i got there like 755 did all the paperwork the guy to me the truck was in the driveway hope you can get out because someone is blocking driveway well him knowing there was no way i was getting out had to wait for the vehicle that was blocking driveway to get tow by the time all that was done it was 830 and i had to bring truck back by 11 so it delayed me a whole half hour

JOSEPH CHARWAYThe biggest problem I had was that I can't get any cell service at that location (It's close to JFK and I think that raises some connectivity issues with Verizon). I was supposed to return a van after hours and it was impossible to do it via the app due to no internet connectivity. So I had to park & lock the van, drop off the keys and then return to the location the next day to finish out the reservation, which was a big inconvenience to me.

andrew mittlerBy far the worst truck rental experience I've ever had. Truck was dirty, smelly, filled with garbage and leaves. Check engine light was on and was seriously concerned the truck would break down. Brian also berated me because I wasn't able to make the U-Haul mobile pickup system work. But the worst part is that I left my planner in the vehicle and he is right now playing games and refusing to return it. This guy has got a serious attitude problem and an odd fixation on race. Nobody wants to hear about your racist views when they're coming to pick up a truck.

Brian is fast, professional, accommodating, and understanding. It’s almost as if I’m renting from a friend. Every transaction has been an absolute pleasure.

john robertsThe self service pick-up option as terrible. I had to call to find out that I had to go in to get the keys. Why? Why did I need to go in and if you're going to make people do that, it should direct customers to do that in the web app. The location itself is odd and dirty. Is it an aviary or a truck rental business? The rep continuous used the word "unit" to refer to the truck (i.e. "What's the until number?") despite it obviously confusing me (I thought he meant storage unit,) and I was the one who had to adapt. I would expect the professional would respond to a customer's confusion by trying to adapt. The truck itself smelled like cigarette smoke that someone tried to cover with a strawberry scented spray. I do not get car sick, but I was feeling nauseated in this van due to the smell.

Tiffany LoganI’m a frequent user of U-Haul and this location provided a new experience for me. I made my reservation online and checked in online as well. After I showed the gentlemen at the counter my check in info and truck number I was expecting to get my keys to continue the process. That did not happen. He clicked the “find my truck” button on my phone and told me to show him the screen where it says to come inside (the same screen I was just on before he hit that button). So now we’re on the “verify my equipment” page and he tells me to click through it to get to the page where it says to come inside. I was not doing that because the verification process is how we the user protect ourselves incase damages were on the vehicle prior to use. So when I alerted him to that, he told me to go ahead do so. That meant walking 2 blocks to vehicle just to complete the picture portion of the process, to then walk back to the office to get the keys, to then walk back to the truck to complete the process. When I did go back to the office he alerted me of the disputes I made. One of which was a paint mark which he said could easily be buffed off. Again I ensure I protect myself at all times. Something as minor as that could have been used against me if not documented. That made me feel uneasy about the location. The environment in general just screams “shady practices”.
