should notify the customer they need to check the truck back in electronically before they leave with it so they take a picture of the mileage and fuel before dropping the keys. Also ensure you have cell service or wifi available

I was charged and additional 50 dollars for a cleaning and after hours service fee. I returnrd the vehicle in EXACTLY the same condition i picked it up in and in no way shape or form was I advised that there would also be an after hours service fee. I was advised to leave the keys in a drop box after I explained in advance I would be returning the vehicle after they were closed. This kind of practice is very sneaky and deceptive. I took pictures of the vehicle when i dropped it off in case since the interior was covered in mud when i picked it up. I AM NOT HAPPY!!!!!!

The van trailer I picked up was extremely dirty outside. The fenders had a lot of built up dirt and the sides were covered with road grime. I took it to the car wash to clean it myself. The inside was clean.

This Cargo van was in pretty poor condition. The windshield had pieces of tape applied to the top where the window gasket holds the window in place. It was noisy when driving and did not stop water from coming into the vehicle when raining. There was also an odd loud noise coming from the rear of the van I could not find the location of the vibration but it was almost unbearable when driving. We did notice a cable hanging from the underside of the van when we inspected it to find the noise. Not sure this is what was making it but It certainly could be a hazard when driving. Not what I would expect from a new cargo van. The vehicle was not very clean either. The person who helped was very tolerant and professional as there were two other customers behind me who complained for over 15 min while he tried to get the rental contract completed.Dispite already doing an early check in and uploading my DL info and pictures of my license (Computer issues I think) I rent from U-Haul all the time (Corporate Account) and even vans with over 40 thousand miles on them were in better shape then this new van. Very disappointed in the overall experience with the equipment although the service of the B&D Pools and spa representative was very professional.

The U-HAUL website was down for about an hour. Even though we reserved, filled out forms, gave our credit card and received a confirmation/reservation number, we had to wait over 30 minutes to get the truck. Not a good way to start a day. Apparently, the people working for U-HAUL say it happens all the time with U-HAUL. :(

I am a local business owner, and have rented from this location many times in the past. The manager of this location has always been a very unpleasant, rude and unfriendly person. This last Friday there was a mistake on a trailer reservation where I rented it for 24 hours, but he said it was only for 6. He rudely said "If you cant have it back by 2pm I can't rent it to you"... A proper way to serve customers would be to offer to find a location nearby that could offer a 24 hour rental. (Last year Da Vals Automotive in Lansdale PA did exactly that to help me). When I asked him if he could transfer my reservation to a nearby Uhaul, he very rudely said "No, I can't do that". When I told him that I know he can, that they've done it for me previously, he literally told me to leave the store and never come back. Not to mention he always gives out a piece of paper that he prints himself that states if you don't use the online check-in when you return the rental, that he will charged $20 extra. He says it's Uhaul policy... But this is the only Uhaul I've ever received this notice. This is no way to run a business or treat customers. Look at his Uhaul reviews. Any positive service reviews are when the other ladies are working the Uhaul counter, as the employees tend to be very nice and courteous. Stay away from B&D Pool and Spa.

The truck we had, L'il Sammy, had a heat knob that was missing. It was stuck on and with the sun out (one of the rare occasions) it was hot! My left elbow kept hitting the door when I tried to turn the wheel, and the truck needs new shocks! Driving it was an adventure...

The online pick up option is awful. I’d rather deal with a human being than ever do that again!!! Will NEVER use the 24/7 pick up option ever again and urge others not to use it. NOT USER FRIENDLY.

I live in a cell phone dead zone, so I don't have a cell phone. This makes rental difficult because for some parts of the rental process you need a cell phone number.

The truck cab had garbage around the seats and in the cupholders. It was very dirty and smelled like an ashtray. Our clothing reeked when by the time we were done. Not very impressed with the cleanliness, but unfortunately it was our only local option.

Pick up was quick. Drop off the same. The only problem I had was the big sack of not needed moving blankets, and the hand truck, which was also not needed, being in the way. Which is more of a design complaint, rather than the location which I was serviced by. The company should either make these an optional request item, or move the location of them rather than in the back near the door. Just in the way.

Pick up a little slow, not easy to sign out/take pictures because of way uhaul was parked. Had to walk a FAR way to the office. Check out in Colonie was incredibly easy. Good for them for running such an efficient service. By the time I pulled in, I was out of the uhaul lot within 2 minutes! Perfect service upon return.

My overall experience with this location was beyond poor. I am a very unhappy patron. This location called me with 30 minutes notice to inform me that they did not have the trailer that I had reserved and then after an hour of the manager trying to find me one he informed me that is was my responsibility to call corporate and find one on my own. I called several corporate numbers (was hung up on several times as well) and finally was connected to a department in the wrong state! This was now 2 hours after my scheduled pickup which then the manager from this location called to inform me that my trailer had arrived and I could pick it up. After arriving at the location less than 10 minutes later, the manger refused to help me or come out of his office for over 45 minutes which then I proceeded to call corporate and yet again, not a single person could help me with changing my drop off location or drop off date. AND I had to install my own trailer to my car with. I am very disappointed and have even put in a claim to the regional supervisor who has still not returned my call over a week later.
