Be there at the scheduled time, not over an hour late. Don't leave your office door unlocked when you are not there. Someone could break in. It's great you have an alarm, but when you leave the door unlocked and a customer comes in, here comes the Sheriff. If was so fun talking to him in the freezing cold while we were waiting on the guy from B & D Motors to get there. When I called U-Haul they told me I had a guaranteed reservation, and that the staff had been there that morning. That was a lie. When the guy got there he said he missed his alarm. He also had a co-worker who walked around with his pants half way down. Sketchy as all get out. Oh yeah and once he got there the worker had trouble checking me in. A call to the regional manager revealed they had forget to check the truck in. Another wasted 10 minutes. I had two people meeting me to help me move. This was a HUGE inconvenience to me and them.Robert C.

Great experience, only issue was the loading ramp was not aligned or is not properly sitting so it took a lot of force to get it back in and latched. I think one of the wheels is loose.Douglas W.
HOWEVER, my reservation was for a 5x9 utility trailer from the Uhaul at 7723 Clinton Highway, Powell, TN. After driving 45 minutes to arrive on time for pick up, I was told they did not have such a trailer, were unhelpful in locating one for me, and were too stupid to rent a substitute trailer. They were pathetic and should have their uhaul franchise cancelled. I ended up having to rent a much larger, more expensive trailer at another dealer. These people give uhaul a bad name.DAVID M.

You gave me a faulty car hauler that was unregistered, the whew bearing locked up, the trailer caught fire and we had to do significant work to save our car. Horrible.Clinton C.

Do not rent from B & D Motors. I had reserved a 24/7 pickup, but when I checked in at 8am, the app said the keys would be hand delivered at 9 when they opened. The employees/owner didn't show up until 10am. While I was waiting for them to get there, somebody came to return a truck and said they were late the day before as well. Multiple reviews say the same thing. I can't believe U-Haul permits B & D to continue representing them. They didn't have the appliance dolly I rented either. The truck was fine, but I won't be doing business with U-Haul again. Terrible customer service experience. If B & D Motors has the only trucks available for your move, I would still stay far away, as they may not even show up to give you the truck.Ken L.

I have used this location twice. The first time the worker did not show up until 30 minutes after they were supposed to be open in the morning. The second time the worker did not show up until an hour and a half after they were supposed to be opened for the day. Trouble hooking up the trailer to the hitch, didn't look right to me, but it stayed on till about a mile from my drop off location then it popped off. But, the folks there were friendly. Also, they didn't correct my email name spelling even though I asked them to. But the guy who got my email receipts at least called me and forwarded my receipts.timothy S.

Ensure that the pickup location has all reserved accessories prior to pickup time. Location did not have enough furniture pads for the truck and had to scrounge through their other trucks for extra pads.Andrew C.

I had a reservation for a truck at 10am on a Friday and no one was there to give me the key. Even the Uhaul reservation manager was unable to reach the contact at B&D motors. They had to switch us to a different location and as a result, I was late to an appointment and the movers I hired made it to my house before I did. Bradley Green was late Saturday morning when I went to pick up the truck. The office is scheduled to open at 9:00 and I did not get the truck until 38 minutes later. Bradley quoted me a different price and charged me 39.99, when I returned the truck 3 hours later Bradley was not at the office. I called him later that evening to ask why he charged me 39.99 instead of 29.99 and he said that it was he quoted me, that it not true. He told me that I shouldn't be worried about 100.00 and he raised his voice and hung up on me. Very unprofessional and he does not need to work with the public.carla B.
