The only thing that bothered me has nothing to do with the Riverside location but rather directed at U-Haul directly. My intent was to get a 6 x 12 trailer to move some furniture from here in Fredericton, NB to Sydney, NS, and dropped it at a U-Haul location in Sydney. It should have cost me $29.95 per day, maybe for two days with all the ancillaries and appropriate taxes. But instead, if I were to drop the trailer in Sydney, it would have costed me just over $5,000, which doesn't make any sense. I had to keep the trailer in my driveway while I was in Sydney for a total of 8 days. Instead of costing me roughly $75ior slightly more ended up costing me over $500. I understand supply and demand, but wanting to charge me over $5,000 to drop it in Sydney, is not fair at all. Never happened to me before with your company but $500 to drive some kid's furniture for an 8-hour drive is criminal. Just wanted to let you know. These comments have nothing to do with the Riverside crew, which were fantastic to deal with. Thank you. Alain BelzileAlain B.

We ordered a dolly which was available online but there weren't any when we got there that is the only bad thing. Everything else was fantastic!Cheryl W.
The lady who served me was great. Baxter said I could take a car dolly for the weekend and said since I only needed it for one day I would only be charged for one day. The charge for a day was 44.95 but they charged me for three days. I received a copy of my invoice via email. I don't recall being told there was an insurance charge of 30.00. My total invoice was 189.58. I can only assume it was a mistake. When I picked up the dolly the hitch wouldn't lock and a mechanic had to repair it. Then when I went to load the dolly with a car one ratchet strap wouldn't work. After three men couldn't get it to work one guy got some WD40 and got it loosened. Eventually I got the car delivered and the dolly worked fine.tim O.
The ramp wouldnt close..and as a result the back door wouldnt shut. Was on the phone over an hour with UHaul they said it would another 90 minutes for a service person..i was already 2 hours trying to fix it ourselves..so a bad experienceFaye M.
The online check-in was complicated. I reserved the vehicle, but had my daughter picking it up. I'm sure it would have been easier if the same person that is reserving is picking up. The app did not allow us to pick up - so had to call and were on hold for over 40 minutes. Other than that - it was a great way to have a student move furniture into storage with pandemic and not being able to travel to help her, we were grateful for this service.Heather M.

Took too long on phone for reservation. Wasn't real fast at pickup site due to computer. Needed trailer to haul a car 80km one way. Was $200 to go one way where it was $59 to return to same pickup site.Manfred B.

The people were great but I'd like to know about the 100$ deposit before I go to the location. And it's been a week and I was told it was going to be automatically deposited into my bank and still nothing. I honestly wouldn't recommend uhaul to my friendsMichael M.

We reserved a 10' truck from this location and when we arrived they informed us they didn't have the truck and it was at another location. So we had to drive out of our way to pick up the truck, delaying our move. Also, this place was REALLY slow in processing customers. It took us 30+ mins to pick up the truck in the morning, it wasn't at the location, the dolly I paid for was forgotten and the man didn't seem to know how to work the computer. Dropping the truck off took another 45+ mins because he didn't know how to remove the dolly charge, and he told us he would remove 20miles from our mileage since we had to drive the truck from a further location, and yet I don't think it was applied. The man himself wasn't rude or anything but he never seem apologetic that people kept showing up yet no trucks were available despite people reserving them. I originally reserved a 15' truck that was changed to a 26' truck which is ridiculous because I booked week in advance. â€œWe are busyâ€ isn't an excuse when I reserved the truck I needed and didn't receive it. All around bad time and it seemed like every customer there was very displeased as wellPaul R.
