I was told that the U-Haul I had ordered September 13th wouldn't be available on that. Day! I talked to them later that morning and then they said they would have one that day! That' was September 23rd that they called me! I was really upset about being told that! I was to get the U-Haul and I thought I said I would have it for that day and didn't have to return it until Sunday! I did fill the gas tank up to what we we're supposed too. We brought it back to Baldwin and was charged $50.96! We were told we put more miles on it than we were supposed to! I didn't know that we did! I didn't understand that! I wasn't aware of what I did wrong! I spent a lot of money on getting people to help us load and unload! I didn't expect to be charged more.

Left rear tire worn down to wires by time we got to Alabama.Needed to get replaced. Should not of wore out that fast,maybe axle was bent? Seem to use extra about of gas.Only got 8 miles to gallon. Last trip I made I got 14 miles to gallon.??

The drop off location had no notice I was arriving. I felt I was bothering the worker. The next day someone from UHAUL called me to ask if I had dropped the trailer off as they had no record that I had returned the day before. Confusing. One more thing to note: The straps on the car carrier were cut too short and by the time I loaded up the trailer and discovered this dilemma the rental location was closed. I was forced to let all the air out of the tires so that the straps would grab and wrap on the ratchet. I felt that it was "fairly safe" but would have felt better and more secure if these worn out straps were replaced. Thank you, Greg Kolbjornsen 612-720-6311

I was not told about the pre-departure text I was to receive and reply to about the initial condition of the trailer before leaving this location. By the time I discovered the text the time had expired on replying to it. I could not submit a photo of the initial condition of the trailer, which did have a minor ding on a wheel fender compared to the photo of the trailer depicted online. No one hassled me about it at the drop off point so I guess it was acceptable as was.

The trailer had a leak which got the furniture stored in it over night very wet. I know the employee's of the place I picked up the unit at, were not aware of the issue, however I do hope they let U-Haul know the unit number so someone will look into the unit.

I was told that from the Minnesota dealer where I picked it up . If I return it earlier that what was in the paper I would get money back. But when I returned it that place told me that was untrue. I feel I was misguided and will be going with a different company next time. I feel better understanding of your dealers might help in someone's future.

The Balsam Lake (Wisconsin) Ace is a fantastic place to rent a U-Haul. They are very accommodating people who are also very helpful and knowledgeable. Besides that, they are just plain nice people.

I would not recommend uhaul to anyone after they ripped me off cuz they are not clear on all there charges consider your deposit as only half of what you'll pay I paid $236 for 1 day!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wait im sorry one day and 2hrs I might as well have kept them damn thing then. Oh and $40 for gas when I read my receipt and compared it theirs I should have only been charged another $55-maybe $70 but not $103

I dropped the trailer off on Sunday afternoon after the facility was closed. I had called ahead and they said it would not be a problem. I had until Monday to drop it off. I called back on Tuesday to check to make sure they had checked it in, but they had not done so yet. I was waiting for a receipt and did not want to get charged for an extra day.

I was told that I was to return the rental on the 8th by close of business. I did return the rental by the 8th long before the close of business but was charged a late fee because the actual contract said 10:xx something. Customer service was terrible, It took forever on hold and the agent was rude to me. Her boss was rude as well, telling me I should have read the contract. I guess so, but I was going on what I was told, Close of business on the 8th. So, U-Haul made an extra $21 for doing nothing more as I was only following what I was instructed.

Attention Dispatch: when contacting a customer who has a reservation, do not begin the conversation with the worst news. Prevent anxiety attacks by perhaps saying, “we have the size truck you ordered, but you have to drive an extra 20 miles to get it”. My poor husband looked like he was going to have a heart attack when he heard the dispatcher say, “we don't have the size of truck you reserved”. Thanks to Ryan who straightened out our incorrect contract!
