Rented via mobile phone. Took almost 1/2 hour to get the key. Would be fair to allow some grace time in a four hour rental when this process is so time consuming. Also, picking a truck up that is almost out of gas isn't best way to start a rental. Thank you.

Showed up during business hours to drop off the truck- there was a sign in the door that said they were closed for the day and to call the number listed with questions. We called the number listed- no answer. Left a voicemail and never got a return call. Waited, called again and the phone went straight to voicemail (turned off?) There was a poster on the door about after hours drop off, stating we should use the app and park legally in their lot. The only parking spot was a handicap spot which would leave the truck illegally parked, and the app bugged out and would redirect us to the log in screen when we attempted to pull up our information using phone or contact number. Called uhaul customer service and waited on hold for 10 minutes, was told the app team would help to return the vehicle on our behalf. I was transferred to another department. After holding another 5 minutes the rep said that she couldn’t help us at which point I asked for a supervisor. Instead I was placed back into the initial hold queue for another 10 minutes and started back at square one with another rep who was able to actually assist us in processing the return. We also had to verify we could park in a handicap spot, which meant another 7 minutes in hold while additional phone calls were made by uhaul. Nothing about moving with uhaul Met our expectations, which were low to begin with. The customer service we received was sub par and reps need additional training on how to actually help customers, and additionally how to use your phone system if transfers are that difficult. Your rep Cheryl Berg was actually helpful- but we will Never. Ever. Use uhaul services again. We will never refer uhaul to anyone based on our experience. Your company made an extremely painful move that much worse.

I do believe I was sold a tow hit ball based on cost and not best option. It made for a stressful tow across country. Even when we turned equipment in at our destination, the UHaul Co in Texas confirmed we had been sold the wrong set.up ?????

Check the actual amount in the fuel tank and verify with the customer. We were told there was 5/8 in the fuel tank when it was driven away, it was actually more than 1/8 lower than the paperwork was showing.

Explain what the "environmental fee" is and who the money goes to. Explain the CDW charge and if there is an alternative. Do this before renting so accurate renal rates are reflected.

We are very please with our first 24/7 rental of a 10' truck with 2 dolly's. We moved all weekend and the dolly's were life savers! The truck performed very well and was so easy to maneuver. Staff were extremely professional and helpful. The online instructions for checking out the truck were easy, just make sure your phone if well charged. Same for return, probably even easier process! Only reminder is that the 10' truck does not have a ramp, so if you are moving heavy items, make sure you have enough muscle power to get the job done. The dolly's make all the difference!

Two things. The rental place is out of the way, not convenient. Second, in the online check back in, the final page gets obscured by a survey monkey survey Uhaul asks you to complete. I couldn't see the rest of the screen as far as instructions on what to do next. I figured the last step was to return the key to the lock box. I was glad to have typed the key code in my notes otherwise people without good short term memory such as myself would have a hard time getting the keys returned because the survey screen blocks the final steps page.

For those loading U-Boxes, it would be great to have a dry staging area--I used the 2nd U-Box but the winter melt made it difficult to keep things dry inside the boxes. The manager, Jeff, was very helpful and kind.

We were directed to return the truck to this location. It was closed and we had to use the on-line return. It was complicated and we were outside in the cold rain. It worked out OK, but would have been nicer to return to a location that was open.

Jeff worked with us to find the best deal for our one-way rental. We recently moved from San Diego and were transporting the contents in our two U-Boxes to our new home. Jeff helped find the size truck we needed and found the location nearby where we could drop off the truck after unloading the contents. The customer service was first rate!

The trailer needed to be pyshically lifted onto the hitch. I had the trailer full before realizing this. My jack would not lift it high enough so I had to call a tow company. Cost me another $100 to have the trailer lifted onto my hitch.

The hours are very limited. I arrived at 2:30 on a Friday and they were closed for the day.

I had an issue with the 24/7 check in. I was probably and oversight on my part but it wasn't clear that I need a second form of identification/ verification. If so, I would have had my passport with me. The on sight manager was great and dealt with the problem.

Truck was clean, prepped with dolly and blankets, and ready to go when I arrived. The express check in really helped make this go quickly. I covered nearly 1800 miles in 3 1/2 days. Ride was comfortable, the 15 ft truck handled the conditions well (hills especially). Only draw back was cabin noise. But I was, overall, really impressed.

had a different location 10 min from house was pushed to location over an hour farther out! this cost me a total of over 4hrs of extra driving

The pickup location was great. They were helpful in getting the trailer connected and have me on my way in quick order. Halfway through my trip home one of the wheel bearings overheated and locked the wheel. Luckily I was near a truck stop and let it cool. I removed the bearing covers and all the bearings needed grease. I purchased bearing grease, packed it in each bearing, replaced the covers, and proceeded home. Typical u-haul equipment; very poor maintenance.

I called U-haul in advance of dropoff to establish an appropriate location. I arrived at the location at 12 noon, and it was closed. The sign on the door indicated that the hours were 8 AM to 1 PM that day. I found a person unloading a storage unit nearby; he told me he was closed for the day, regardless of what the U-haul office told me and what his office sign said. He told me just to park it and leave the keys - no inspection, no sign-off indicating I had fulfilled the terms of the contract. Zero customer service.
