FRANK AOnly 1 thing I would recommend is to make sure the proper air pressure is in the tires. I had to stop and put air in all the tires. Air is not free these days and it cost me 3.50 to air up 4 tires cause they all were low.
james fFirst I was told one price and ended up with an another one that I know DO NOT match up with the amount of miles that I was forced to pay for before even getting the vehicle. After taking out the time to reserve it online, I still had to repeat everything again, which was a waste of my time. It’s two different businesses and she stopped 2 times while helping me.1st to talk to her daughter on her “personal phone”about purchasing something that had nothing to do with me renting the truck. 2nd time to answer questions a person had about suntan lotion, all while I busy telling her that I have someone waiting on me to pick up some furniture. Please choose which business you want to run and do it, because she can’t handle both at the same time. When I return the truck she was too busy with a customer”again “ getting a SUNTAN to even go look at the truck and give me a final bill. She said that she would send me a breakdown of the cost, I never got it, but you best believe she still charged my card. The truck sensor light was on indicating that it needed air in one or more of its tires. Next time I will reserve a truck from a car rental company and make 10 trips if needed, instead of being forced to pay for gas mileage that I KNOW THAT I DID NOT USE and I guess I will never know what I was charged for since I never received a bill explaining what I was charged for!!!!

KEVIN LThe van/box truck is in bad shape. It was dirty, the doors were very difficult to close and sometimes it would go into gear from park to drive.

MARSHA HMy reservation location was swapped three times. The final time being on the way to pick up my rental. When I arrived the truck was not what I had reserved. I reserved a 26ft truck and received a 20ft. This resulted in me having to make 2 trips and an extra day worth of work. Not to mention the increased fuel costs for the second trip.

Kay MThe vehicle had one headlight out, the head lights when on bright were very dim. The truck had damage to the drivers side near wheel on the body from a previous blowout and to the roll up rear door. This truck needs maintenance and an alignment. The truck was not full on fuel when I picked it up only had 3/4 of a tank though I was told it was full.

Kaleb BThe gas poured out of the gas cap the entire day. We smelled gas but because the place we went to was an automotive garage we kept chalking it up to that, because outside when we got back no smell. It was not brought to our attention til we were headed back with last load and another driver alerted us to gas pouring out. Then the truck was dirty, I could not Check in through app because she had not checked in truck, it was so disgustingand gross inside becauseit had not been cleaned, she said the oil light is on becauseit needed a filter to ignore it, and then when we returned it early this morning we had the cops called on us as we were heading home my 19 yr old son was driving us, because she suspected us stealing catalytic converters. She has cameras in the building we even pulled up close so she could see us before I parked where she told me to. This was a complete nightmare.

Lisa SThe problem i had was not with location, my problem was ONLINE. I rented for May 21. I got a confirmation. I call UHAUL on the 800 number and the lady says my confirmation is for June 4. No ma'am! My email confirms May 21! She said I could drive to another CITY to get a dolly. I told the lady no, cancel it. I just drove 2.5 hours and wasted a 5 hour round trip. I call again and a second lady tells me that there are TWO dollys available at the pickup location I originally chose. So she gets on the phone and lines everything up with the location manager. I go and at the location everything is perfect. I spent 1 hour, wasted on the phone back and forth with uhaul. I dont need a discount but there was NOTHING offered by uhaul for the mistake. I manage a warehouse for a large business. If I screwed something up then I have to make it right at any cost. I still don't have an answer as to how I confirmed May 21st and it got changed in your system to 2 weeks later. How could the second lady tell me there were 2 dollys available yet the first lady told me I would have to drive to another city? How did lady 1 not see the error in the system yet lady 2 saw the confirmation should have been May 21 not June 4? I cant understand the disparity between 2 of your reps. I would have had to drive another 45 minutes to another city had I agreed to what rep 1 told me. You guys almost fouled up my entire weekend.
Ryan QAt the Clanton location, I was impformed that I needed to check the truck there and rent again (additional 2-day rental) to go along with the auto transport. So basically, this cost an extra truck rental that I wans't expecting.
