I had rented a 10' truck and it wasn't big enough I tried to get a bigger truck they would not do it. Called customer service and she said they will do it but she said her manager said no.

Everyone there was great very understanding and helpful as a single mother traveling across three states they made sure that I felt comfortable with the truck and the dolly for my car. I did have to pay extra for them to help me get the car on the dolly securely I have not ever had to do that before. I did appreciate their kindness and the time that they took in they were not in a hurry at all to help me.

I called prior to dropping the truck off to make sure of the time the location closed and, although I made it there two hours before I was told they closed, the place was locked tight with no one in sight. I pulled the truck in line with the others, raised the back like the others, and dropped the key in the box. The following day, I received an e-mail invoice showing that I was charged for an extra day, extra insurance, and a cleaning fee. I had to call customer service and stay on hold for an hour before I could speak to someone, who put me on hold again while she called the location. After that hold, I was told I would be refunded the extra day and insurance in no sooner than 3 DAYS! As for the cleaning fee, the location supervisor would call me within 24 hours. It has now been over 24 hours and NO CALL! I have used UHaul several times before but I’m not sure I ever will again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this location. I’m new to the area and have been looking for a tanning location but I’ll drive 30 miles before I give this place a penny!

Truck was very dirty and Upon return the attendant said she was “just covering while the owner was gone”. I was charged for not bringing the truck back w/ same amount of gas. This is inaccurate and I’m disputing it.

I’ve used your service many times but this was by far the worst truck I’ve ever been given. The engine sounded at times like it was going out and at moments we felt unsafe. The customer service was great but the truck itself was NOT a good one.

Don't tell them to pick up in Louisville KY on Sunday at 3:00 pm Then wait for me to show up to tell me they don't have one for me. Make me go to Indiana the next day Don't tell me to use Colorado truck then pick up the car hauler and be told to can't use it?

Guess they are better than me. And I was an inconvenience. And apparently a full day is 8 hours not 24 like every other U-Haul place I have visited. And when question by U-Haul customer service they lied on the time I said I would return the trailer. I won’t go back there.

I was charged double of what it was. Charge my bank 360.00, it was supposed to be 180.00 & did not even send me a receipt or anything. I’ve had 3 checks bouce, & 97.00 in banking fees because of this. I have called & got no help. Someone wrote the mileage wrong or someone is getting rich on ripping people off! Pisses me off ! I will never rent one from this location again!

Very polite people. I actually spent the night in Clanton , Al because this location was closed and I refuse to deal with anybody but the lady at this location.

My truck was clean however it didnt have everything I requested. It should have been a dolly and moving blankets but nothing was inside the truck. Also the pad lock on the door was rusty that we almost didn't get it opened. Please make sure whatever is requested and paid for i.e. dolly blankets its inside the truck. I loved the sign in app from the phone. But when I returned the truck the app didn't work which made it a hassle for me.

Do not overdraw/overcharge people's accounts. I had 3 withdrawals of over $100 each made for a one day rental!

There was damage and the truck was dirty - it looked someone got stuck in the mud - and when I turned the truck in I got charged a cleaning fee AND for tire damage. I didn't cause ANY OF THE DAMAGE ON THE TRUCK and was told that it had all been noted "in the computer."

I was given 5 hours (9AM -2PM) on a Saturday to drive 80 miles round trip, load an entire house, unload and return the truck or get charged extra for another day rental. Of course I didn't make the deadline. Who could? Insane

I was charged for an extra day when I returned the truck the night before. I dropped the truck off at the specified location before 10pm and was charged the next day for returning the truck at 1pm. This is not acceptable by any means.

Drivers license and picture verification process took too long. Took 10 minutes of extra time I really didn’t have. This process should be completed prior to picking up the truck.

Be sure to have the correct lock codes available to whomever is handling the equipment checkout. This held us up quite a while waiting for the truck to be released to us. Everything else was excellent, especially the knowledge of the UHaul managers.

Check with the stores to ensure they actually have the equipment before you allow customers to select their location for pickup. I would have been very upset to have been rerouted to pickup a truck way in Calera when I live in Canton, especially after not being notified the truck was not in Clanton. Thankfully, the nice gentleman I spoke with in customer service was able to get another truck sent to my pickup location of choice.

Make sure there is a contract available! I did not see nor sign a contract but instead told it would be emailed to be! I took pictures before leaving the pick up location and they do not match the miles and gas nor the time of pick up. Very disappointed and will use Penske for future rentals. Brenda Lawrence
