I was charged for $70 for gas when I left the gas at a 1/4 of a tank. Exactly as I found it. I will be disputing this charge but was very upset that I was charged for this mistake on U-Haul's part.Jacqueline T.

Even though we tried to use self-checkout, the personnel needed to tell us where to park. 2 different people told me to park 2 different places. They didn't offer to park the truck for me and one of the personnel yelled at me for backing while they were trying to move another truck. Very cluttered location (trash, broken stuff, etc.) One person at the cash register was helpful. The biggest problem was with self-checkout. It crashed on our phone. Took over 20 minutes to get help. We wasted about an hour trying to get self-checkout to work but we eventually got it working.Kenneth G.

The truck was very old and very loud, it had a constant rattle. When I scheduled pickup I did mobile so I could be in & out but there was no where to get keys so I had to go in to get the keys and the truck was on E. Also they had the trucks so close together that it took a good 5 minutes to get it out of the spot. After the pickup everything was fine.AUDREY C.

The reservation I made was for another location, but it was closed on Saturday even though the website said it was open on Saturdays. We were lucky to be able to transfer our reservation to another location nearby.Walter S.

The application frequently froze and was not very cooperative. We used the website directly ultimately and where able to rent our truck. Everyone we dealt with in the phone was very helpful and resolved all of our issues.Jeffrey K.

Trash was in cargo area. The door was left open so perhaps people walking buy through trash in. Reserved online. Reserved moving blankets. There is no key code when picking up. You have to go in and see the Gas Station Attendant. Then I paid for the blankets which were not there.Scott K.

To improve get a real uhaul location and not 90 percent gas station and 10 percent uhaul. Hire some more staff because the gas attendant is trying to run everything by himself which brings down customer care. And lastly I believe I was over charged because the gas attendant wasn't clear on the return time and I was charged doubleRonald P.

Upon returning vehicle deforestation time due app refused to accept information then u-haul charges an extra day even after speaking with customer service and giving information. This was horrible on every level and I will be taking further action. 1st when I got in the truck it was disgusting, but worst of all there were drugs in the cup holder. Three quarters of a joint filled w/ marijuana. Second the location had none of what I reserved online; for an example a furniture dolly. Furthermore once I asked for what I reserved I was advised to go around back and get it out of their old, abandoned car wash bay. Not only was this unprofessional, but highly unsafe on every level. The bay was very hazardous and unsafe. When I mentioned this to the attendee they just laughed as if it was funny and my concerns were not important. On top of this all I was charged $25 more than my invoice. I brought truck back early, they nothing I reserved, there were drugs in the vehicle and they still had the audacity to charge me for a couple gallons of gas. U Haul should reimburse my whole expense to start; then shut down this location to start. Again, I will be taking further action, spreading the word to anyone that will hear it to never use their services and I of course will never be back. Be better U Haul and have some pride in a once proud name.Marc I.

I was responsible for getting my own air in the tires. This slowed me down and I had to pump the air myself. The employee did provide me with change for the air hose, but the customer should not have to prepare the vehicle; the rental vehicle should be ready to go.Andrew R.

Clean the interior cab of trucks occasionally - not sure when this one was last cleaned but it wasn't recent. Make sure when you rent supples online that you actually have them in stock. I rented 10 moving blankets. There were roughly that many in the open garage where I was to pick them up - they were strewn about the garage floor, most were soaking wet and filthy. I was able to find 6 loose blankets that I wasn't afraid to touch. Digusting! The 24hr Share app was not working properly - so I was lucky that the BP station had an attendant on duty when picking up and dropping off. It's a shame, I'd thought of Uhaul as a quality company but my experience was anything but quality. I returned the truck yesterday afternoon and am still waiting for the final chagrges confirmation - it might be better to send these surveys after the final receipt has been sent to the customer.Jean M.

Vehicle was extremely dirty on the outside and inside cab. I let the pickup agent know this when I left the facility. U-Haul needs to not let scheduled pick-up times be outside the window. I was scheduled for an 8AM pick up and the pickup place didn't open until 9AM I didn't get the 12 blankets I ordered, I only got 11. The truck was very very dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The trunk was acceptable but the driver and the passenger was nasty and unhealthy. I had to spend my personal time to clean it.Ankush B.

Truck sounded like it would break down. I had to wait 30 mins to get it bc the uhaul wasn't checked back in from the previous person who used it. When I returned the guy was rude and didn't even check me out so I had got a call from uhaul the next day asking if I planned to return the truck which I returned already the same day I got it.Christina S.

I wanted to drop my rental at the MLK street location in Wilmington, but they never picked up. I think it's terrible that when I booked online, I was under the impression that I would receive one price, and when I went to pick up, it was a completely different price + locations. The pick up location was changed without my approval. The location was NOT in a good area that I would be in at night. I made a reservation a month prior because of how close I could pick up and drop off, instead I had to go several miles out of my way. This was the best experience I have had with any moving truck company. The location was convenient & truck was new condition. When the mobile check-in service did not work properly, the man inside the shop who helped me was pleasant and quick to get into the truck. Excellent location for U-Haul services!Jessica H.

The cargo van I have used a couple times has a maintenance minder to 'change oil soon'. Hopefully they are keeping an eye on it. Also - seems that the app takes a little time to load on cashier's cell phone - I have to wait while she waited on 4 other customers.Christine M.
